... and it might well be that Steven Davis heads to Wolves because of his family/kids et al. Ah, the joy of the transfer window rumours.
Meanwhile, SG reckons that we'll see Dorrans and Murphy soonish, in the latter's case at least sooner than expected.
Yeah Wolverhampton which is over 3 hours drive from Southampton....
You would be quicker flying to Glasgow.
Not too mention Wolves are rich.... so I just don't see it.

We were without our two best players (IMO) Arfield and Morelos and it showed. If we can get to the winter break and still be in the hunt, then we need to push the boat out and go get 3 quality players. (Davis, Solanke and that boy from Everton?)

If Lafferty goal hadn’t been wrongly chopped I reckon we would have went and won that comfortably.
The fact is the 29th has now become a must win.

I still don’t understand how Andy Dallas doesn’t get some time with the first team. He is clinical for the reserves.

Better maybe but nowhere near the standard we require at LB
That is why we have a Croatian International though.

We really must sort out the LB position.
Presumably Barasic will be first choice when fit(soon hopefully) but we really need proper back up in the form of another LB instead of what we’re doing just now
I would not have dropped Halliday - he is far better than Flanagan.

Last night showed once again that we struggle against teams who sit deep.
Ironically Aberdeen are worse than last season and we are far far better but we can’t seem to beat them.
Motherwell saved us last night with their late winner.

One question that could be asked of SG is - why did Andy Dallas not play ahead of Sadiq against Aberdeen?

Funny I never even thought about McCoist. I suppose that is because he is the same as Goram for me in that it was when I moved to Holland and I didn't have the chance to watch matches as now. I was mostly glued to a radio with a poor signal. I suppose that impairs my judgement with all that era.
I really struggled with picking a RB and CB.
I’m 32 this month so Butcher was a bit before my time. (Although I watched my dads videos) but we have had some really good CB’s like Moore, Hendry, Amoruso, Boumsong, Weir and Bougherra to name a few.
As for RB’s - the first I can really recall is David Robertson.

Goram
Numan
Gough (c)
Cueller
Hutton
Souness
B Ferguson
Laudrup
Gascoigne
Cooper
McCoist
Something a little different.

Almost all modern for me. At least one of my selections may be deeply upsetting. It is a favoured eleven though.
Ronald Waterreus
Alan Hutton
Lorenzo Amoruso
Madjid Bougherra
Saša Papac
Gennaro Gattuso
Ray Wilkins
Jorg Albertz
Claudio Caniggia
Alfredo Morelos
Peter Lovenkrands
Oh my - this is a bizarre selection

I have a bad feeling about this game. We need to get the starting line up right.
I’d bring back Macauley, Barisic, Ejaria or Rossiter and replace Middleton with Grezda to freshen things up.

We have already welcomed Hearts, Maribor, Rapid Vienna and Spartak Moscow with no issues.

What was that Celtic montage all about before their highlights on Sportscene.
I was also disappointed to see that they failed to tell the full story in regards to the Motherwell red card. They focused on the two yellow card offences but did not even show the challenge that happened in between that could have seen McHugh sent off.

I think today’s results showed that Celtic are vastly overrated by the Scottish media.
A few weeks ago they were having a tough time whilst we were beating the likes of Dundee, Hearts, St Johnstone comfortably and we were feeling optimistic.
Then Celtic come out of their sticky patch to beat the same aforementioned teams.
The difference being that the Scottish media lapped it up and then began the usual “miles ahead” talk we have become accustomed to.

Really disappointed with result last night and our inability to keep things tight at the back.
However we should have been 4-2 up at half time if it wasn’t for poor refereeing.
With that said - it was a fantastic game for a neutral. I watched it with two English mates and they loved it.

Taunting opposition players is the kind of thing you expect from the likes of Griffiths not a Rangers player.
Candeias is everything I want in a Rangers player.
He works his socks off, gives 100% every game, he is passionate and works tirelessly for his teammates.

Unbelievable decision! Am I right in thinking two yellows can’t be appealed though?

He looks and feels the same as we all do! disappointed & frustrated.
It must even more frustrating for him as he was a better player than all of the players on the pitch added together!

The last few games have been hard to stomach that’s for sure.
But the way teams are setting up against us could be viewed as back handed compliment as they now know if they open up we are able to hurt them.
With that said tonight was always going to be a tough game as Kilmarnock have not conceded more than one goal in their last seven matches in Glasgow under Steve Clark.
But now we need to get behind the team in the next few matches and hope we can stay in the pack. Other teams around us will drop points this weekend and we need to make sure we take advantage.
Stay calm and carry on is the message just now.
