  1. Almost certainly and Ally too.
  2. That's a fair point Dutchy, I think UEFA's jurisdiction would extend to the environs of the ground but not beyond; for example they had no jursidiction over events in the streets of Manchester, if they had we would be out of Europe for 10 years. But I was inside the stadium and I heard FTP, FB's etc all around me, I heard some fans arguing with others to stop, it would get us in trouble, but still it went on. Inside and outside the stadium there seemed to be a feeling that because it was Holland it was OK, but it isn't OK, in Holland, Spain, Scotland or anywhere else.
  3. No real reason for a box, all you need to do is post your comments, if you want to do more than just "disagree".
  4. There have been almost 1,500 respondents up to 7.30pm tonight, thanks to all who have responded and spread the word.
  5. I find it very difficult to equate your comments with the reality of the embarrassing behaviour of many Rangers fans in the city of Eindhoven and especially at the match itself.
  6. Thanks guys, it seems to running fine on my home laptop tonight so I'm putting it down to TT internet last night.
  7. You are correct, although primarily it is an SPL issue, it would only touch the SFA on appeal from a decision by the SPL. It is just about possible that the SFA would act in an extreme case but there does not appear to be an appetite for that at the moment.
  8. Thanks for clarifying but it makes you wonder why anyone would accept the 2 game ban unless there is a fee for the Tribunal to hear the case or you have to pay the expenses if you lose?
  9. Yes but the absolute defence of "doing everything reasonably practicable" (before during and after the incident) will still mean that it is highly unlikely that any club will ever be charged, let alone found guilty. No club has ever been found guilty of unacceptable conduct within its stadium by the SPL. UEFA is quite a different kettle of fish. UEFA apply "strict liability" as Rangers know to their cost. My bet is that UEFA WILL fine and warn Celtic.
  10. There were some arguments along these lines last year and I posted a reply from the company that did the analysis. I am not a statistician but the gist of it is that it is indeed highly representative, it is about a 3% sample of Scottish football fans. I understand that once you get past a certain number of responses the results don't tend to vary that much. Last year the results were only broken down per league, the more detailed questions this time are designed to make it possible to do more analysis on the results.
  11. The reason for that is to give a guide as to whether the survey is truly representative. It will be interesting to know if fans of different teams have different opinions about league size redistribution of wealth etc.
  12. I can assure you it WILL make a difference. The SDS survey last year highlighted 90% against the 10 team league and 86%? in favour of 16/18. The fan's views were quoted by ICT, Kilmarnock and Dundee Utd as being instrumental in their decision to oppose the change. The SPL now regularly consult SDS on major issues. SDS are permanent members of the JRG.
  13. Good man, SB, excuse my ignorance but what is GF?
  14. Deleted temp files, hasn't helped. I am using IE for Gersnet as I have always done and tonight is the first time I have had real issues. Don't use FFX much. Use GoogleChrome for access to webmail on my business ISP server (123-reg) but have lots of issues there as well. Used to use Outlook Express and then GMail very successfully for my business until it got overloaded by an issue at 123-reg. Any email experts out there who can sort my office system please send me PM, I'm happy to pay the going rate.
  15. The survey went live around noon on Tuesday and had had more than 600 respondents before I managed to get it up here, almost one a minute; quite possibly it will be the biggest survey of fan opinion ever in Scottish football.
  16. Not at all, it's about the future of Scottish football.
  17. Yes, so I am thinking that it is probably an issue with TT, sometimes single clicking seems to work sometimes double, sometimes not at all. Thanks for trying to help. Think I'll give up for the night
  18. Quite possibly, an appeal can work both ways and you can also be punished if the appeal is regarded as frivolous. If I was Aluko, I wouldn't use Mr Whyte's lawyers.
  19. Thanks SB. This is the only site I'm registered on, so it would be appreciated if anyone else on here can spread it across the other Rangers' fora.
  20. Tried the thanks button Zappa, but no joy! It's odd because I can get to hotmail and the beeb and some others I can't mention! but my office ISP's server is a nightmare to reach as well right now. I have a feeling it's a combination of TT being crap and some of the ongoing issues on here.
  21. I have noticed that double clicking on page numbers etc now seems to work much better than a single click.
