  1. Google translated the Slovak article on Patrik Hrošovský ... I think it is understandable ... Also seems to be some interest in Rosenborg`s youngster Emanuel Kulego ... https://www.nettavisen.no/sport/premier-league-interesse-for-rbk-talent/3424012049.html
  2. We have apparently denied interest in Glazer. Roberts ... can`t say I have seen much of him after those Scum games ... though he wasn`t that bad for them IRRC. I`ll give that a few days to run.
  3. Rangers keeping tabs on Israel's Dan GlazerExclusive by James Cairney @JamesCairneyHT TestingSports WriterRangers are among the teams interested in Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Dan Glazer, Herald and Times Sport understands.Sources in Israel say that a number of English Championship sides are keeping tabs on the 23-year-old midfielder, with the Ibrox club also linked with a move for the Israel internationalist.Glazer has been capped seven times for his country and is in the Israel squad ahead of Friday night's Nations League fixture at Hampden, and has played in both of his club's Champions League qualifiers this season. The defensive midfielder came through the youth ranks at Maccabi Tel Aviv and had spells out on loan at Beitar Tel Aviv Ramla and Maccabi Netanya in his homeland before breaking into the starting XI.Glazer made 36 appearances in all competitions for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 2018/19 season and featured in 38 games last term.
  4. Snatched from FF: A czech news outlet iz.sport are linking us with a move for Patrik Hrosovsky we were linked with him earlier on in the window he's probably the best midfielder we've been linked with imo. He's played with hagi at gent we want the loan to buy option while they want us to but him straight away for 3.5 million
  5. Kenny McLean has signed a new 3-year deal at Norwich.
  6. Looks like Josh Windass will move to Sheffield Wednesday and as part of that deal we'll finally receive the 500k Wigan still owe us from his move in 2018.
  7. Just checked the Scottish fixtures ... *Sept 17th and 24th *Riga (LVA) / Tre Fiori (SMR) - Celtic (SCO) Sporting CP (POR) - *Viking (NOR) / Aberdeen (SCO) *Progrès (LUX) / Willem II (NED) - *Lincoln Red Imps (GIB) / Rangers (SCO) *Laç (ALB) / Hapoel Beer-Sheva (ISR) - *Coleraine (NIR) / Motherwell (SCO)
  8. ... while the next round looks almost certainly the end of the road for Aberdeen and Motherwell.
  9. What were the bets that all Scottish teams get away draws ... and what bets would there be that the Scum get a home draw for the third straight game?
  10. Russians, Croatians et al ... even Famagusta. But lets get the Imps out of the way first.
  11. Yep. It is what people want to pay for him rather than what Scum FC dreams up (or we about Alfredo, in fact). At the end of the day, they'll miss out on the CL jackpot again and no-one knows what they rake in for Rogic, Ntcham et al. Shon Weissmann of Wolfsberger ... here it probably depends on what he wants. Schalke is being mentioned, but a) they are not a team that will win anything or pay extreme wages and b) have no money right now either. EDIT ... Weissmann is off to Spain
  12. ... somehow, the Leverkusen game escaped them, even though it was "not this season", it was after the pre-season. In saying that, and we were chased by Leverkusen and Lyon, TBF, we still conceeded just one goal.
  13. Essentially his second proper game for us. I would hazard a guess that SG put the challenge to him and right now he looked somewhat overly eager as Kent did and occasionally does. The final ball of both have sure a level or two to go up. On another day, we should have had 5 or more ... Kent, Roofe and Barker alone. Talking about our runners, from the 65th min onwards we could have easily thrown on Stewart, Jones and Arfield too. I will never understand why we leave it so late (with 5 subs now), when it essentially hardly makes any sense bar eating up a few seconds, which is surely not what we needed today.
  14. Away days ... I fully expect the return of the 4-2-3-1. Hopefully only as long as we have figured out Accies' approach. Maybe Itten up top, Roofe leftish and Kent on the right, with Hagi in the middle. Jack and Kamara as DMs. Perhaps we give Arfiled a call, being a more attack-minded CM than Kamara or Jack, but still a workhorse - which will most likely be required.
  15. Gollum in the middle, a TV audience being entertained by the wisdom of Crocker and Walker (I assume), and a plastic turf to go with it. Surely another feast for all senses ...
  16. Performance-wise, earlier this year, I envisaged Barker being the first to be moved. As it seems, Murphy and Jones are the most likely to go, with Stewart being the only one of the "fringe"-wingers/strikers making the bench. SG said a wee while back that they know what Barker can do, yet he has/had some sort of mentality issue, i.e. the belief in himself and his ability. You would hope that a few more games will break that barricade and he goes on and builds on last weekend.
  17. Now they have thrown that Wolfsberger Israeli striker Shon Weissman into the mix. But stay cool, we are behind Real Valladolid, as are Galatasaray and Schalke. ... It must be fun being a journo or agent these days.
  18. While one can understand OM's sentiments (same with us and Kent or Hagi), I doubt that we will let him go on-loan ...
  19. ... Rogic and Ntcham were said to be for the off, Edouard is their big hope of grabbing some money now. I expect the compliant mhedia will drum up his worth in the coming days ...
  20. BTW, some murmurs that we are in talks to sign Lawrence Shankland ... and I leave that to be verified by more credible sources before putting it in the OP:
  21. Sadly not true. They reached the money-spinning group phase ever since 2011/12 ... and raked in millions that - in turn - hardly anyone speaks about in Scotland, millions, that put them into their own high strata way way above anyone else in Scotland, making winning league titles as easy as Bayern Munich winning the Bundesliga 3 every season. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtic_F.C._in_European_football#By_season
  22. Not sure who reported what, but TM is rather accurate here and says 19.8m for Dembele and 24.3m for Tierney. It is, in any case, quite "interesting" to note the mhedia silence about the mega-deals of the Scum when applauding their "achievements" in the so-called "9IAR" time, when they essentially had a squad assembled for 30odd million costing more in wages per season than the entire Premiership has paid in in transfer fees over the period of our absence. I would harbour a guess that those sales - not least to Southampton - actually kept them afloat and going, with the large squad and inflated wages et al. That, and the regular participation in the CL (and "funnily" enough, UEFA threw ever more cash after the CL teams during that period). Let's hope the Hungarians put them to the sword tomorrow ... the howls of anguish about these unfair single-game play-offs will last till x-mas ...
  23. At the end of the day, he cost us 1m or the like, yet scored tons of goals and vital ones in Europe too, raking in more money along the way than many could have hoped for. Getting 15m or whatever will be 14m or whatever more than we paid for him. Just saying.
