  1. ... for the best interest of none but one club at the time.
  2. Meanwhile ... Frimpong warned he’d be SHOT after row with US love interest CELTIC ace Jeremie Frimpong was threatened by a love interest who broke Covid isolation rules after flying to Scotland for a hook-up. Tyjah Bowens, 22, ranted that the star, 19, would be shot if he set foot in her native US after the pair fell out. And Hoops favourite Frimpong was accused of bluffing about his wealth — after he refused to buy his love interest a £500 designer top. Raging Tyjah — who flew from the States to stay with the footie ace after meeting him online — said she was mortified when he wouldn’t fork out for the flashy shirt. And in a bitter Instagram rant after the pair fell out, she claimed she’d been “catfished” by the Hoops ace, who she branded “gay” for allegedly not romping with her during a 10-day stay at his flat. The ex-waitress even accused Frimpong of keeping her holed up in his Glasgow home, cooking and cleaning to avoid a rap from Parkhead bosses over her visit — and threatened to have him shot if he ever set foot in the States. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/5932470/celtic-frimpong-us-election-trump-lorraine-sturgeon-lockdown-coronavirus/ ... it is being said that this was before the OF game.
  3. This is Scotland, the land of clans. Clans who first and foremost look after themselves and if it suits their cause will lump in with others (for a time, i.e. as long as it serves their self interest), not least when it is about money (even short-sighted money grabbing excercises). To expect even 10 of them reach a consensus is stretching it. 42 is downright idiocy and a pure time wasting. Then again, the latter is exactly what happened during the vote stuff earlier this year, offering a few snacks to to the gullible along the way (reconstruction, anyone?). If there is one thing that may come of this, it might be that the SPFL/SFA high-ones (are they not essentially the same people?) decide that "democracy" isn't the way forward and thus they hand themselves powers to do it on their own. People may argue that this is not possible, but ever since 2012 and even a few months back. we have seen that "being beyond imagination" isn't something said high-ones are limited by. BTW, exchange clan with club at your leisure.
  4. Too bad the likes of his weren't around in 2011/12.
  5. Wasn't that something with regards to the stewarding in the coaching zones?
  6. Actually no. I questioned Tavs ability as a defender, as he was far too inconsistent with his performances in this department or his role as a captain/leader. Yet no-one could seemingly displace him in the eyes of the manager - IMHO, also questionable. This season he has - finally - regained the form of his first season and kept it running. Kudos to him and long may it continue. A kick in the back during those last two seasons might have done him a wolrd of good too, but it never happened. Josh Windass, I remember that name.
  7. RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB ANNOUNCE NEW CADBURY PARTNERSHIP RANGERS is proud to announce today its new global partnership with Mondelēz International, owner of Cadbury, making the UK’s favourite chocolate brand the club’s official snacking partner for the 20/21 season. ... read more here https://www.rangers.co.uk/article/rangers-football-club-announce-new-cadbury-partnership/5KmSdU0vhEhbLu93oDhZKx
  8. 2nd game of the League Season, 2nd win ... 1-0 away to Spartans Match Report Kevin Murphy Demi Vance
  9. Let's wait and see what really happened, that statement gives very little information. Obviously, it was a breach of the Covid-rules, yet let's not throw people under the bus because they are e.g. Jordan Jones. That always goes far to quickly to be reasonable. We'll soon enough know what really happened and if need be, the throwing can wait till then. The quick and strong response was necessary, though I still imagine the press will hound them for days if not weeks. NB: Before people jump on this, all the rest regarding endangering the safety of players and club goes without saying.
  10. I would say the Livingston performance was dire. Today we controlled the game for long spells, playing some decent stuff and allowed Killie next to nothing. We could and should have score 3 or 4 more, but more essentially, we held firm when Killie smelled a point. If anything, I was surprised with Davis coming on for Aribo, as the former gave 2 freekicks away quickly and wouldn't be my first call on a day and surface like this. Overall, no game you will remember for long (unless you like big wolf tattoos on a player's back), but it will linger longer than others.
  11. Women play Spartans soonish, live updates via the Twitter page: https://twitter.com/RangersWFC Meanwhile, Nicola Docherty's living the dream https://twitter.com/NicDoc11/status/1321432339814273026
  12. Anyone knows what Borna got a yellow for? The Killie guy essentially jumps in front of him while at full speed, nothing Borna could do about it. A foul maybe, but yellow?
  13. Anyone seen that before? Pretty amazing ... https://twitter.com/scHeerenveen/status/1320086306916077572?s=19&fbclid=IwAR2glLzBBrp-O8LKzw_nXHjZjN5NWtwPhllZhhavhLLwdXUs_5DPcTcvpKc
  14. BTW, since Saturday noon, Germany requires all people coming back from Poland to undergo a 14-day quarantine or have a negative Covid-19 test handy.
  15. ... good question. I would hazard a guess ... none? NB: No disrespect, but I haven't heard of any.
  16. ... and that is where they fail in their responsibilities. WHile the media always and ever claims the right of "freedom of press", one of the great goods of "democracy" et al, they oftentimes fail to grasp that this freedom also means responsibilities. Be correct, be neutral, be true to the facts. BBC Scotland for years has been rather liberal with facts and the truth and would this happen in Germany, quite a few of their lot would be taken to task by the German Media Council.

  18. Rangers Football Club @RangersFC Scotland UEFA coefficient rankings 2018: 26th 2021 (current season): 12th Happy to help
  19. BTW, it has been verified that the signs he made after his goal were A and L, the initials of his daughters. Nothing to do with Anderlcht or any other stuff, he`s done it for years.
  20. Not sure if it was posted before, Roofe`s goal with English ... https://streamable.com/fb0mgg ... and Mexican commentary: https://streamable.com/exh4ke
  21. Too bad that the rain came in, as we started to play some brilliant stuff there in Belgium. Could have gone either way during and after the floodgates opened, but we kept our cool and defended very cooly too. That goal was the icing on the cake and would have sufficed for another 5. Imagine we had taken half of our clear-cut chanced and we could have come away with a Willem scoreline. Outstanding stuff this evening and hats off to that team!
  22. Sidenote ... I read "Teutonic efficiency" first in a Rangers book about our European games, when they commented on a game vs Borussia Mönchengladbach or the like, 80s or early 90s methinks.
  23. Teutonic efficiency thus far. A bit more concentration up top and we me get a result here. So far, Liege have looked the best opposition we played so far ... even though I did not see the whole Willem II game.
