  1. Hearts' statement: https://www.heartsfc.co.uk/news/article/chairmans-update-12-april-2020 ... words fail you.
  2. That would just be the icing on the cake of this fiasco. If they press then through with all they want, football in Scotland is well and truly f@cked.
  3. Yep, essentially restart season 2020/21 as the status quo were at the start of 2019/2020. One one gang would howl at the moon and must be quitened before they press any plans for their tainted title through.
  4. Well, it probably was a honest mistake by the right honorable Mr. MacKenzie ...

There was no suggestion of any issues with the text 2.50pm RFC emailed the resolution to the SPFL SPFL acknowledged receipt shortly thereafter. No issues were raised with the text then or at any other time until we contacted them further. James Blair was advised by Stewart Robertson late Thursday evening that the SPFL had suggested to Championship clubs that the resolution was not competent and wouldn’t be sent to members. They were being told this before the SPFL had communicated with us on the resolution. 10.17pm James Blair emailed Rod McKenzie asking if he could advise how the resolution might be amended to overcome any concerns the SPFL might have. 10.51pm Rod McKenzie replied saying he had forwarded to Neil and Iain Blair. He did not otherwise respond 11.25 pm JB emailed back saying it would be helpful to hear from him in advance of the board meeting scheduled for this morning. That didn’t occur. Friday 1030am Rangers release statement- “Over the last 36 hours, we have received numerous reports from fellow Scottish clubs relating to attempts to coerce and bully them into voting for the SPFL’s own resolution. We are proud that many fellow clubs will stand strong and not be swayed.” 11.00 am James Blair emailed this morning and then spoke to Rod McKenzie. Time TBC SPFL publish statement which includes “We have seen a statement from Rangers that they “sought comment from the SPFL Executive on several occasions yesterday, to ensure [their] resolution was deemed competent”. For the avoidance of doubt, only at 10.18pm yesterday did the SPFL’s lawyer receive an email from Rangers seeking advice on the content of their resolution, which was put before the SPFL Board first thing this morning.“ 14.52 Partick Thistle 1st to vote No and put vote on Championship Whatsapp group 16.24 Dundee vote No and put vote on Championship Whatsapp group and publish statement to group that appears on Dundee website at 1703 16.39 ICT vote No and put vote on Championship Whatsapp group 16.52 Dundee text ‘The Die is Cast’ DFC vote submitted on WhatsApp group 1700 SPFL Voting ’Deadline’ 1700 SPFL release statement that 85% of clubs voted in favour with 3 clubs still having to vote. 1703 Dundee publish statement on their website Sometime between 1700 - 1832 (Whatsapp Text) Gerry Britton (Partick Thistle) advices Eric Drysdale (Dundee) to contact Ian Blair (SPFL) SPFL tell Dundee they haven’t got their vote. 7. If we had a decent journalist out there ... as well as CEOs of all clubs concerned, you would demand answers to important yet utterly simple questions: - Who came up with the first SPFL proposal? - Who decided that Friday 17 o'clock was the deadline? - Who spilled the voting numbers before all votes were in? - Who decided that any "non-voters" actually get 28 days? - Who decided that non-voters get time, but Yes- or No-voters not? And not some assumptions or conjecture, but the people behind those plans and "rulings". Simple question very much in the interest of any club concerned. As well as a rule by rule explanation why the above could be and had to be done as it was.
  8. Thing here is, if we have this evidence and the SPFL is working on behalf of essentially one club and against orders of UEFA, we should contact the latter and present them those facts. IMHO, even if the SPFL is a entity of its own, getting decisions by illegal means should be taken to court.
  9. Let this be the hour when we draw swords together. Fell deeds awake. Now for wrath, now for ruin, and the blue dawn.
  10. Our club should really press the SPFL now, given that seemingly Dundee has 28+/- days to consider their vote now, while all the rest of the clubs seemingly made to think that Friday 17 o'clock was "THE" deadline. The subsequent statement by the SPFL was a slap in the face of Thor's Hammer proportions ... Likewise, enough time now to make more proposals to the member clubs bar the hasty one by the SPFL.
  11. Like we had it in 2012, a certain number of Premiership clubs take the bait and follow the Scum's biding, hoping for more and quick cash. Grab the first opportunity offered, no matter what. I know that away fan boycots won't happen, but we should remember whom they went in bed with. For some reason, a vivid picture from GoT sprang to mind, They slept with Lions ...
  12. Openly writing about attempts to coerce and bully other clubs ... wonder what wrath will come our way for that ... by whatever means.
  13. It remains to be seen that for once, sanity supersedes the Scottish clan mentality and clubs see through this heinous attempt to bully them into a decision with next to no time to debate a proposal that ultimately serves but 2 or 3 clubs and is being build on an utterly respectless utilisation of Corona victims and clubs' need to survive. There is but one thing that coninues to amaze me when it comes to Scottish football and the Scum: how they manage to go to ever deeper levels to reach their goals. Contempt hardly describes it ever more.
  14. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/rangers-football-club-members-update/ "not competent" ... yet they want to push league reconstruction through in 3 days, so every club and their legal advisers have seemingly "enough time" to scan and decide on it? If the story of the recent years of SPFL / SFA government would have been written as a screenplay, it wouldn`t have gone past the first editor/reviewer. When I start telling some fellow German football supporters of what is happening in Scotland, they look at me with more than a hint of assumed paranoia in their eyes. Up until I hand them the facts.
  15. Actually, just checked the BBC`s website and guess what, in links and topic they actually managed to twist it against Rangers ... if you only read them and not the article: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/52217121 So it is not US asking for money, but US asking to hand the money to struggling clubs.
  16. Seemingly ... All clubs will be voting on it and it requires 75% of the 42 clubs to pass.
  17. Again ... is there any SPFL ruling that can, legally, fix a season at a given status quo and determine titles, relegation, promotion? If so, that ruling can be enforced by whom, the board alone, an accepted proposal or an e.g. unanimous decision by all members of the SPFL? Or have 50, 75 or whatever % have to agree on this? Maybe I overlooked it, but why are Hearts not mentioned amongst the relegated teams? Or is that in the reconstruction bid? If so, a sneaky bit to get them to the yes-voters.
  18. It would be far more interesting whether he could give us the regulations of the SPFL and / or SFA that factually allows the SPFL to hand a title or force releation to/on teams without completing the full programme of league fixtures. That "sporting merit" argument. Likewise, it would be good to know whether any such an "option" is being agreed upon ... and by whom. And who actually has the power decide and ratify it. Opinions are fine, facts and rules would be better for any arument or debate.
  19. Pragmatically speaking ... I always thought that a sun-storm will ruin the sky satellite armada up there and consequently the game in England with its utterly inflated market and teams paying abnormal sums in fees and wages. Looks like it is not the Sun's corona that will do it though, with Burnley speaking about upcoming insolvency ... which is still a bit strange, given the money Sky et al pumped into these clubs. Probably the "downside" of paying inflated fees and wages for average players. Hence, while it may not end the cash bonanza down there for good, it might bring people to its senses. Might also mean that no-one there or anyone else will hand us 20-30m for Alfredo anytime soon. Likewise, even though money might be tight, clubs could also look for ST renewals earlier than usual and bridge the gap somewhat. Found it interesting that the EPL players refused evena 30 % pay-cut during the crisis ... even though you wonder what the individual players actually do or want. Not least when you see Alfredo handing money to charities et al.
  20. The question remains whether they have actually a ruling that allows such a thing and whether the SPFL board can take it alone.
  21. Can't find it right now but there was an article in the media Friday or Saturday saying that when the SPFL board decides the season is over and titles, relegations et al are decided at the status quo, all member clubs have to agree tothis before it becomes fact. Anyone seen this too or "know the score"?
  22. Similar to "we rather die than reinstate Rangers" of 2012, I could envisage the Scum machine going for the title and rather risk not being part of the CL campaign next season. Then again, there are 30odd million reasons for Liewwell to consider, given that the transfer window might very well not yield that much this summer in terms of revenue.
  23. Obviously, puts some of our modern day displays into perspection. Good to see it.
  24. Straight red for a Rangers-player these days ...
