  1. I see you got your mind made up then.
  2. I haven't seen it in writing myself, but methinks that it will not be that easy and repercussion for "in spite" court-cases will be "interesting". But we have a valid case here and a conflict of authority and rulings.
  3. That is not the point. The bone of contention, I would assume, is that people imply that Grier knew how Whyte will use the Ticketus money, i.e. for buying Rangers, rather than financing the first few months. That is something Grier denies and IMHO it does not matter that he worked on other aspects of the deal with Whyte, for so too did Ticketus and they were also pulled over the table.
  4. If the SFA is being challenged in a civil court, UEFA will, AFAIK, not allow any of their teams to play in a European competition. It is somewhere in there rulings. Hence, the longer this goes, the more nervours the Hooped Horrors will become.
  5. The point is not that the BBC are not to blame for our problems, but the way they go about their business. Half-facts, half-truths, and a fair amount of assumption and conjecture. Neatly mixed and presented by the BBC (sic!) makes it fact for most people on this planet. And then people like you happen by and say Grier is a liar. After you saw him speaking on STV openly about what happened back then (something of which the BBC has seen some e-mails, but had no info whatsoever what was actually discussed back then and in what detail), putting his name and company on the line. Yep. Makes sense to me to say he's liar. Hence my remark about black & white thinking. Sure there are and were some strange things going on. But neither is D&P by default guilty, nor is the BBC by default correct.
  6. Unless I am mistaken, there is no precedence for this embargo within the Scottish game and it was whipped up out of the blue and by utilizing rather vague guidelines within the SFA rulebook. On a sidenote, while it may be rather counterproductive, with all the bile and contempt thrown at us from nigh all angles, we should sue the SFA for that in mid-July, keep it going for a couple of months if it seems worthwhile and successful, then drop it. By that time, no SPL team will compete in Europe, the qualifiers for the CL et al are gone and certain clubs won't see any European money. They may possibly hare after us, but our claims are sound (as opposed tio Sion's) and for a change, it would hurt those who want us most harm. (And yes, I know that this is not nice.)
  7. Welcome to another Black Friday then. Not that anything of this is news, but it makes another fine negative story.
  8. Looks like the BBC can't do anything wrong for some people on here. To those same some, the world is neatly black and white, it seems.
  9. Ahem ... what sort of documents? Why would the admins have, control, and/or not hand over those? It relates to stuff long before their appointments. If anything, these documents are with HMRC, no? NB: BBC Scotland has learned ... and understoods ...
  10. IMHO, the problem is that while they do indeed find some lose ends here and there, they present it as if they know the answers and/or how things have really been ... which they don't. As such, they pull another leg from the fragile takeover business and this, on the whole, ain't good for the club and may lead to serious consequences for Rangers. And after all went down the drain, this lot will hold their hands up, present a smug smile, and say: "We only done our job ..."
  11. Can someone explain to me the "conflict of interest" for D&P here?
  12. Pre-season ... what was a shambles here? That our club did not maul the German opposition in fitness bouts and semi-training sessions? Ally ... I do not blame him for the Euro exit, at least not ahead of the players. IMHO, his line-up against Malmö at home was the best we could muster - even though some would argue that about McCulloch's inclusion. Individual errors did cost us against both teams, as well as Jela's inability to score from the half-dozen chances he had. That, btw, is football.
  13. That's anyone's guess. of course, there are three judges presiding over this now, not HMRC themselves. The cynics amongst us would argue that they wait till the takeover is completed, but whether it is a CVA or a newco, that bill will not affect the Rangers after that, it seems.
  14. They were, unless I am msitaken, half-way down their full-site restructuring when administration started. I very much expect that much of the stuff to be done by the company who runs the site for us fell through. Of course, people can easily ask the Rangers media folk about this too. They are very much aware of the problems, rest assured. Whether they can or are allowed to do something while their own jobs are on the line is anyone's guess.
  15. I doubt that this info was easily accessible (after all, you would wager that all these mails were/are confidental) and none of it actually refers to the HMRC stuff.
  16. Yes, let's do that "black & white and there is just one version of the truth" - rubbish. If you like all of the garbage* spouted by Daly and Young these last few months and let them off unchallenged, feel free to do so. Iit is just "our" club and people working for it that they continuously attack and if they do that on valid ground, fine. If not, they need to be reigned in. *Which is not to say that they haven't had their moments in guessing correctly or actually having some facts.
  17. ... coming to think of it, if someone tries to use these "private" e-amils in court without having had a court order beforehand, wouldn't this evidence be deemed null and void? No matter the public outcry now?
  18. What I can't exactly understand is that people equate Grier's involvement with D&P's in general work and thus Clark & Whitehouse's work now. Of course, there could be some internal discussions and conspiracies taking place between them, but unless Grier is directly involved in the administration process or somesuch can be revealed, a lot of conjecture is required to link one employee of the company who did one thing to something else done by other employers with no insight half a year later. But our conspiracy gurus will tell me the truth soon enough, I think. For D&P are "at it" ... no matter what "it" actually is.
  19. Just out of interest, who made these - I would suppose - confidental e-mails available? Where in these e-mails does it state that D&P et al knew about the way Whyte would use the Ticketus money?
  20. Aha. Why is it that some people apparently look upon these supposed facts with some glee and expect that D&P et al will fail here and miserably? If an institution like the BBC talks rubbish, they should be held accountable for this. They represent the standard for many a news agency this side of Saturn's rings and in this day and age (and country) some journos need a reminder of that. If no-one at least attempts to make a stand, this lot will get away with next to everything ... as Chick Young time and again proves.
  21. I would assume that Whyte ain't D&P here ... and a company like them will not take kindly if an organization such as the BBC throws dirt at them, especially if it is untrue. It will suit these BBC idiots nicely if someone actually goes after them and shakes their ivory tower.
  22. Looks like D&P will start legal proceedings, according to our HP. Someone needs to go after these witch-hunters, for no matter how much truths they uncover, the lies that go along will be deemed being facts by those with no inside into the ciurrent state of BBC (Scotland).
  23. Yes, as I was last time this was debated on here. If you think that our failure revolved around Ally, so be it. Same goes for the rest of the debate on last season's exit. Opinions apparently differ quite a bit here.
  24. With a settled side and different players, yes. You've seen Real, Lyon, and Ajax this season, as well as our team in October and November. That was the point. @CumbernauldGers ... please read post #64. Furthermore, I can't see your point in having Ally removed. It's not like other Rangers managers of late have done much better in Europe and, as I pointed out above, it is not solely about the manager when it comes to succeed in Europe. But we had this anti-Ally debate long before we went into admin and unless I am mistaken, the attitudes have not and most likely will not change.
