Ill-advised and ignorant of the "common" supporters' opinion on them and theirs. Happens if you have people doing the business part of such things that have business in mind, not supporters` preferences. Still eight months time to get their act together and learn from the experience.

As I said on the previous page with regard to the Bisgrove comment on the income of 8 days down under: hadn`t it been the Scum in that tournament, quite a few people would congratulate the board for giving our supporters down there some real-life Rangers footie plus more money than what we get from the SPFL for a whole season.

One "shit show" doesn`t make the other any better.

James Bisgrove, the Rangers commercial director, attempted to justify the trip in a club TV interview last month as he highlighted the benefits to the bottom line of Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side heading to Oz and taking on their Old Firm rivals. Bisgrove said: “To put some context around this, we’ve spoken before and Stewart Robertson has spoken before about the broadcasting and media values here in Scotland and the club’s view on that has been well documented. "The participation in this event over eight days will benefit the club to the same level as an entire season in the SPFL Premiership for two friendly games. “So when we talk about wanting to maximise the commercial potential of this football club we felt this was an opportunity that really helps us to achieve that ambition. “We have spoken before about this season being one we can achieve a very high revenue target commercially. "We have spoken about this at the AGM around the £27.9m which is far higher than we have ever achieved before and this is another step to allow us to maximise some of that potential as a club." Would there be any sort of grievance if we were to play Porto, Bayern, or Real instead of the Scum in this tournament?

Maybe someone closer to the affairs will tell me more facts, but I for one are not of the opinion that our Board or our Chief Executive do anything that will harm our club. That idea of the Old Firm game in Sydney - 8+ months away, if at all happening - was surely rather ill advised an idea (and I don`t know how it actually come about) and not talking to the fan base before announcing the idea, never mind the event as such, as well. Likewise, I would assume that Dave King, Club1872 and the Sons of Struth want the best for the club, though by the looks of it, they are working on different wavelengths. Still, what came next was IMHO sad party/faction "infighting" that went far too toxic from the word go. For someone looking from the outside, it is hard to understand why these people hare after the club in the manner they do, instead of asking / demanding talks with the relevant people, who obviously should answer to them. But there are sure better ways to do this than to fling statements about. On first look, I thought the club`s statement ws about the idiots through tennis balls and paper onto the pitch at Dens Park, when I read that line about people craving a role at the club. Honestly, that is a poor way of communicating with the public, said people and the fans. If anything, all parties concerned need to get to a table and speak with one another in a civilized manner, while the public finger-pointing and accusations need to stop. Or at least postpone it till after the season.

None of the two slo-mo`s I saw yesterday showed the scene as clearly as the picture above. Shame that Tav didn`t score, but typical for this game.

3 points and the rest quickly to the record books! BTW, it shows what two or three strikers can do to a game. Roofe with 2 assists within seconds of coming on, whereas Kent and Arfield served up next to nothing. Maybe there comes a point when Gio and staff will realize what it takes to annihilate the opposition as opposed to dominating the ball possession stats.

It is Dundee. If Sands and Co. can`t handle them ... We need Jack fit for the important matches. Then again ...

Ramsey? Sorry, we have Sands doing effectively nothing. I`d hook him and Kent for Roofe and Sakala ... so we have options up top and people able to hit the target.

Man, how wrong can you be. We play at 25 % of last weeek, at best. Utterly shocking. And with Kent being another empty jersey, Arfield somewhere in mdifield, we play with but one striker. Even Ramsey is somewhere between DM and AM, but who should he aim at. Simply lost for words ...

Who brought all the weans along? What mental age have they?

I`d say Lundstram and Sands give our defence more security and freedom to venture forward, while Lundstram also likes the odd foray into the opposition`s half. Ramsey in his prime role, you would hope that Kent starts scoring league goals now. All geared up for a high-intensity pressing game, wonder whether we should give Alfie the odd break or two.

For the love of the game alone, I simply can`t believe that dozen of managers have spoken out against this man as a ref. He had an absolute stinker in the recent game, and not for the first time. How he gets "randomly" picked for our games is beyond me. Then again, that Yahoo-supporting chap at the Scumhut yesterday might be even worse. Today is all about 3 points, no matter how. I would still hope that we send out Sakala and Roofe from the start.
