Great post Cal, only thing I will say is its very hard for people to like you when you are at the top looking down the green eyed monster appears and that has been our problem, yes we have been a touch arrogant with it but the same rule applies when your at the top everybody is there to take potshots at you. Although I will agree that when we get back to the top we have to learn from the lessons of the past and try and be a custodian of Scottish Football instead of sitting on high and casting judgement. As for the PR war we haven't taken part in this for more years than I can remember, its going to be a long slow climb back, it took Celtic a long time to get where they are and that was without us running interference it will take us twice as long because we have to battle their propaganda on the way. All we can do is just slowly and methodically chip away at it and eventually the tide will turn.

Don't know about that Foggy, England is a non starter but there are other avenues out there and with the Balkan proposal and know the Beneliga things are moving in the right direction.

Absolute farce, would just be as well have loads of regional leagues of 8 with the top 2 going into playoffs to see who wins it makes as much sense as this load of pish. So going 12-12-18 effectively the second tier championship winner is no more and its just one big relegation/promotion playoff where do you start with that one, you have teams playing in a league nobody ever wins you could potentially never have any promotion from the second tier, only in Scotland would this be getting pushed through as a brave new world.

Scottish Football fails again to look past the end of its nose, I truly despair with the people in charge of our game. Would go for a top league of 20 Premier Div and the rest in the league below championship, 2 up 3 down the final promotion place up for grabs in a playoff just like the championship down South, nice and simple and no bloody splits.

Should be brought back ASAP change one word or the whole line I'm not bothered.

Wasn't going to read it because I thought why waste 10mins with more crap from the papers, but after reading Frankies post I went back. Not to bad a read from Wilson, he must not have been talking to any Darksiders over the holiday period and his mind has cleared from the fog of hate.

Didn't read it but I read McMurdo's blog on it. So I take it, it's the usual crap from Wacko & The Daily Rhebel. Oh well maybe we will get some real journalistic work from them next year, we can but live in hope.
