You can own the use of the car park without owning the ground it sits on, Rangers didn't own the ground so how could they sell it in the assets. Now we can argue all day about the wording of the statement from the Chairman. I don't see the problem with Rangers now buying the land outright ahead of the leasehold running out. If we want to redevelop the land we will need to own as much as we can.

It's simple look up the land registry, it will tell you who owns the land that the Albion car park sits on, and who owns the land that Ibrox, Auchenhowie sits on.

If I'm reading this right and I'm probably not, we own the right to run a Car Park on the Albion Land that we pay a fee to the company who hold the freehold for that land. So Green is buying said freehold from the company so will therefore own the car park and the land. If that's true I don't see the problem some have with Green, they should be raging at Murray instead.

Actually we don't, but you seem to think we should be spending twice that just so we can beat the Tims if we get them in the cup. I'm more interested in getting back into whatever top Div we will have, you build a team to do that job and you have every chance of winning a cup as well.

My ambition is to get back to the top any cup is a bonus, nobody builds a team just to have a go at winning the cup and why would we spend money on the type of player we would need to challenge Celtic when we are in Div3, never mind the fact that no player of that calibre would play in Div3.
