    Traynor

According to Twitter, Traynor has joined The Rangers. I assume as a PR mastermind of some sort? Well done Kuznetsov as I'm sure I saw you mention this days ago!
  2. The scales have tipped and if you count the fans inside stadiums every second Saturday then we as a support are, as a wise man once wrote, 'galvanised' and that we are ready to do things the right way which is to support your club and only your club. Counting the attending fans would make us the majority vote and that is the vote that the sponsors & TV companies are looking for.
  3. I notice how none of them speculated whether we deserve an apology.. or not.
  4. The sun yesterday had an article about how stokes received death threats from Rangers fans & the uvf. I suppose that's one way to deflect the attention from the real story.
  5. I am hearing on the grapevine that Jim Traynor and the Daily Record are about to part company. My information is it concerns Editor in Chief Allan Rennieâ??s decision not to run the Anthony Stokes attending a RIRA fundraiser story on the Record front page. Apparently the Stokes story was set to be the lead but Rennie intervened and switched the Stokes piece with the complete non-story about some guy with a criminal record interested in buying shares in The Rangers. Traynor was apparently livid at this decision and it was the final straw in what I am led to believe has been a stormy and unhappy time for him at the Record. Although by no means universally liked by the Rangers support, Jim Traynor has won a lot of admiration from many in the light blue legions in recent times for his withering attacks on the bigots and bozos who are ruining the game here in Scotland by pursuing a virulent anti-Rangers agenda. It seemed to me that JT started off believing that Rangers were in some way guilty of wrongdoing and should man up to any punishments dished out but he became more aware as time went on that what was supposed to be a just and fair response by the football authorities to the Rangers situation was, in fact, a hate-driven witch hunt with sinister roots. My own opinion of Jim Traynor is that he is our best football journalist by a country mile, though not always right and often spectacularly wrong. He is the one journo with the guts to speak his mind, or at least try to, given the shackles so many in our media now work under. The truth is that Jim Traynor knows the score about how the media functions in Scotland and it is evident he chafes against the restraints imposed by political and external influences. Given that print media is collapsing in Scotland, JT might just find that blogging is a good outlet for his considerable talents. I used to like to chide him for his remark that he would never work for a tabloid and I wouldnâ??t be surprised if he has made the same comment about blogging. But a Jim Traynor blog with no restraints would be good fare, I am sure, for those who like the fitbaâ?? in Scotland. It is my understanding that Traynor will continue in his stint with the BBC. This is ironic, given that the BBC in Scotland is regarded by many to be the most bias and agenda-driven media outlet around. Maybe JT will decide he has had enough of the Beeb if they continue their own anti-Rangers agenda. Thatâ??s not to say that Traynor is a â??Rangers man.â? What I believe him to be is someone who dislikes injustice and partisan dealings. One thing is for sure. We could use plenty more like that in our media pack up here in Scotland. As well as editors with balls that are not afraid to cross the powerful anti-Rangers lobby that has an iron grip on football and the media. You can take something else to the bank â?? Scottish football will be hearing from Jim Traynor for a long while to come.
  6. I was the same for the first 10 games or so, playing maybe a game after work and switching off. Then some dick pumped me 5-1 on Fifa with St. Johnstone & I forced myself onto FM!
  7. I released Goian but kept Bocanegra. Bocanegra takes a wage cut if you ask him too and becomes a decent coach when he retires. Cribari is currently the best coach in my staff. The messages about your finances deteriorating last all the way until the SPL but dont really affect your wage budget much. I focussed on youth players and most took low wages so everything is cool. Ross Pery hasn't gotten any better than 2 stars for me yet but has been a solid defender and has had several call-ups for Scotland. Faure and Pery are the only 2 current Rangers players still in my squad.
  8. I finished season 1 undefeated in the league but with 2 draws and I won the Ramsdens cup but nothing else. I'm in 2016 now, currently 4th in the SPL and top of my group in Champions league (only 2 games gone though and expecting Man City to put me out ). Did any of you get any good transfer fees? I managed to sell Wallace for £3.3m in season 1 and then Norwich sold him on for £6.6m and I got 20% of that. Swansea offered me £5.5m for Templeton in 2015 and I rejected and they came back with £7.5m which the board accepted.
  9. Sad story about David Ford. It is very true that the youngsters aren't prepared for life if they don't make it.
  10. David Murray is Judge Dredd, therefore he IS the law.
  11. Judging from a few threads on here I'd say it's 50/50.
  12. Reckon this is a dig at McCoist?
  13. We just need to get it seen. Twitter, facebook, etc. If 200,000 of us can go to Manchester then surely half that can fill out an e-mail address.
  14. It is strange that Celtic-minded people always say we shouldn't be stripped of titles now that they were told Celtic wouldn't get them. I'm sure at first Lennon said that if we cheated we don't deserve the titles.. then it was confirmed Celtic wouldn't get them & Lennon said we shouldn't be stripped of them Now we have Hartson saying this, I'll bet if we lost a titles he would be pissing himself laughing.
  15. I wish there was English sub titles when Sandaza spoke. Good, positive video.
  16. Aren't wage caps a part of the incoming financial fair play rules? I know that its only for Europe but in a country where the top two are in Europe every year and we are/will be in the top two then we will need a wage cap anyway.
  17. Or a sarcasm slant. "we were cheated, still not defeated"
  18. I might actually watch the Celtic game tonight. Never watched them before except vs. The Rangers, but watching them lose will put the icing on a sweet tasting cake.
  19. Perhaps there is still time? The liquidators are confirmed but surely it doesn't happen overnight? Perhaps GDS was right all along?
  20. So, there was no need for relegation or fines or transfer embargo's? Or did CW cause that anyway?
