  1. Deliverability you say? Such as Rangers reaching the Champions League quarter-final in 2013/14, thus triggering the final payment by Kennedy and TBK? Yes, that's deliverable. Good point. I'll stop sniping now.
  2. Agreed. What we need is someone with an unimpeachable personal reputation and a history of financial probity to collect and safeguard fans' money. Step forward, Mr Suck. Your club needs you!!
  3. Maybe PLG could confirm? We may have to wait, though; MD hasn't told her what to say yet!! I'll get my coat.
  4. In all seriousness, who on the RST board would question MD on any issue?
  5. Rubbish. Your media spokesman and most prominent member has done nothing but discredit other bids since the outset of this process. "Now they want a Hibby running the club. You couldn't make it up" being one of his most memorable outbursts. You obviously won't publicly admit MD has seriously embarrassed the club and the RST throughout the bid process, which is your choice. I'm just wondering, though, how do other RST board members and fans' group chiefs view MD's appalling conduct in recent weeks? How long can they and the rest of the support allow this increasingly out-of-control maverick to charge around unchallenged, splitting the support and harming the club's reputation?
  6. Yes, comparing an American philanthropist who seeks to save Rangers FC from folding with the 16th century Church of Rome is entirely appropriate....
  7. I saw a banner which said "Yanks No Thanks - Truck Off Miller ". You'll find pics on this site. I appreciate you feel compelled to back RST but you/they (ie their leading light, Mark D) got this one very badly wrong. I'm afraid you guys have to accept that.
  8. One point which I have to make: I was banned from FF for being consistently anti-RST. Not vice versa. In other words, I'm not anti-RST because I've been banned from FF. On the contrary..... A small but important point.
  9. On Facebook mainly. When Miller withdrew his bid, one of the organisers of next year's NARSA got in touch on FB to ask, "Tell me these banners didn't happen." He then came on the next day to say that several work colleagues had asked him "what was wrong with Rangers fans". This whole episode has been massively damaging for us. However much people may not want to personalise it, the fact is people who should know far better have made us look like fools.
  10. OK, let me rephrase. The RST's most prominent member and media spokesman used his own website last week to call for an email campaign intended to bombard the newly announced preferred bidder for the club, supposedly to request information regarding his bid. As a result, the prospective bidder was swamped with abusive emails, which he mentioned as a reason for his bid being withdrawn In addition, a known associate of the RST's media spokesman used the same site to encourage fans to display anti-American banners at Ibrox. This led to outrage among Rangers' USA-based fans and a perception that Rangers fans are anti-American. Would you like to give us your views on these incidents?
  11. Taig?? Chill mate! I was suggesting you were maybe more pro-RST than you were letting on. 'kinell, mate!! Take it easy!!!!
  12. Trying hard not to not get personal, my man. Genuinely. But if individuals are personally responsible for damaging the club, how long can you avoid personalising the issue? Anyway, absolutely no offence to Casey or any others. Just stating my opinion, using my normal posting style. Cheers!!
  13. Only that repeated denials begin to wear thin. If you really have no time for the RST, why do I keep seeing your username on threads leaping to their defence, on this site and others? Last week, the RST orchestrated banners at Ibrox which were arguably racist. Our reputatuion in the US as a fan-base is now lower than ever and US-based Rangers supporters are being abused because of the actions of this increasingly marginalised faction. They deserve your unequivocal condemnation, not your support. Hope that clarifies my viewpoint. Cheers!
  14. So you keep telling us... You know who you remind me of? Those callers to Radio Clyde who masquerade as Bears: "Err, hello Shew. Err, ah'm a Rangers fan but ah think Rangers should be expelled from the SPL then docked 25 points for the next 10 seasons."
  15. An attack orchestrated by the very man who laughably claims to speak on behalf of "the fans". Why? Becuase someone other than his beloved hero Paul Murray looked like being the club's next purchaser. Utterly shameful. Those responsible for organising the attack on Miller (and we all know who they are) should be banned from any future involvement in fan representation.
  16. Leaving aside FF-style physical threats, the fact is MD and SL misread the situation badly and their actions backfired spectacularly. As a result, they brought shame and disgrace on Rangers fans not just in the UK but also in the USA. I spoke last night to a guy who will be involved in hosting the next NARSA. He went into work yesterday to be asked, "What's up with Rangers fans?" Brilliant. Next time you report back to MD, tell him the overwhelming sentiment among the support is that this time he's gone way too far and Bears won't forget it.
  17. It's clear that either TBK bid was well short of Miller's or D & P have got it badly wrong. If so, not only are they mistaken, they're playing a very dangerous game by lying in public.
  18. In which case, they repeated the lie tonight on Sportsound. The D&P spokesman said the TBK bid was well short of Miller's and for PM to suggest the two bids were of the same value was "ridiculous". If, as you contend, D&P are continually lying about the bid which PM fronts, I take it he will be sueing?
  19. You're answering a different question there. MD may well be the RST's greatest strength but in terms of recruiting new or former members, he's also their biggest weakness. Bigger than all other factors combined. By some distance. With all due respect and with no wish whatsoever to start an argument, there really isn't much point in repeatedly pondering why the RST cannot attract new members if you're not prepared to listen to the answer.
  20. I'd say there's one answer which applies to both questions....but I know you don't want to personalise these issues.
  21. I was one of the RST's earliest members but I allowed my membership to lapse when I saw the direction in which it was heading. I cannot back any group, however well-meaning in its origins, which follows such a transparently partisan agenda.
  22. Yes, they should and hopefully they'll now see sense and act.
  23. Not half as tedious as watching a grasping opportunist make a desperate lunge for power and influence, to the backdrop of people parroting, "Now, now. Let's not get personal."
  24. No, I meant "themselves" in the singular rather than the support as a whole.
  25. For the sake of even-handedness? Otherwise, they risk look like they're pursuing a self-serving agenda.
