  1. From that it would be fair to say if we were both in for him he would choose them? Well let's hope that is the case and see which way he chooses. Steven' Smith's dad is a Celtic fan, but even at under 21 level young Steven would nearly take the door off it's hinges when he got home, such was his delight at beating them.
  2. There's one or two former players who I would gladly have back. They've proved that the jersey isn't too heavy for them. Lewis Macleod for example.
  3. Davie Weir mentored him on the park. He's not my favourite, but Weir knows him far better than I do. He also provides what the manager's key attributes are - comfortable on the ball, young, hungry, and a professional off the park as well as on. In http://WWW.com i will trust (Warburton, Weir and Wilson).
  4. I don't mind a slice of humour here and there guys but lets pan it, trying to sandwich puns in between every serious post. We're toast this season if we don't get serious. That much is plain to see.
  5. Oh wait a minute -Woh horses!!! This might not work. 'There's only one Mark Warburton, one Mark Warbuton, there's only........' - its not working! 'Mark Burburton's blue and white army.....' - nah still not working. Any thoughts anyone?
  6. For those wondering if we have made/will make progress under the new board, you may not agree with Warburton, but would we have had this change under the watch of the Easdales and Llambias? Or would we still have McDowall and Durie because his nibs is still on full paid gardening leave?
  7. I know - what a fecking choice. One sniff of snow in the air and those BMWs are as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.
  8. Read post #400 on this thread. You want Stu eh?
  9. He does - Guaranteed. Why do we need devine intervention to stop a director being interested in what the 'consumers' want? I hope you don't run a business (apart from supporting Spar with your avatar). Read my post again, re boozed, tired and unhealthy, no example, no vibrancy etc.
  10. I must have missed that photo. If he does in any photo I will bet its not booze or obesity related.
  11. On another note, John Gilligan will see every comments on here, FF etc (Hi John). Part of his remit is to be the 'fan' at board level, who knows what is going down on the ground. He will be feeding back the feeling of everyone on here and other forums, and what will put bum's on seats and move our club forward. So John, if you are watching, Mr McCall will not fulfill that requirement. Please note - no more tired faces as that will lead to tired fans who've had enough. Fresh blood please - make us feel alive again. Nothing less will do!!!
  12. If that image is anything to go by, McCall looks like he has heard the Warburton 'news'.
  13. This is a bit random - but I am sick of the sight of unfit, unhealthy, tired and boozed up looking ex-players of the Club at management level - McCoist, Durrant, McDowall, Durie, McCall. They make me feel tired and down looking at them. They inspire nobody. I want a manager who looks and acts professional, who leads by example, and who injects motivation, ideas and vibrancy into the place. Any team combination of - Warburton, Weir, Cathro, Numan, Laudrup (youths), Craig Mulholland (with youths) would do me just fine.
  14. Great. Hopefully similar news will come along about Billy Davies.
  15. This is coming from a guy who nicked his avatar from Spar!!
  16. I ask "Explain why" and you come out with that?
  17. You must have been right behind old Stu then. Glad I wasn't in the trenches with you.
