  1. And moving to East Kilbride. Glasgow post code? :-)
  2. Isn't the fact that SARS themselves are facing internal corruption charges (for how they handled such cases) a mitigating factor in itself? Not 'fit and proper' because of clear issues he had with a potentially corrupt organisation currently under enquiry? That would be a farce.
  3. Hate the white bands down the arms. That is not the famous royal blue either, which really annoys me these days in some of our tops.
  4. They are welcome to him.
  5. And his Irish Republican sympathising brother? No affect on Regan whatsoever? He does speak to his brother - yes? But he retains the utmost integrity in the process I'm sure. Your judgement of who is best suited to our Club is deeply flawed. Your support for Llambias and Leach was so far out of the park you should be buying a ticket to get back in. Your naive support and trust ( reeks of snobbery ) in all things 'establishment', from the SFA to corrupt South African establishments, is mind blowing, especially given the detrimental effect on our Club. I would trust you as far as I could throw your ego.
  6. Rab, your inability or unwillingness to digest or accept answers to the same old questions, over and over and over again, needs examined. I, for one, have grown tired of opening threads that you are involved in, and I can't be arsed posting much now. You spoil it for so many people. When you get an answer from LOTS of people, either write it down somewhere, or question it if you disagree. But please stop causing long threads over and over with the same comments, just to get the same answers. You are very tiring at times.
  7. I think what he probably said was "I wont play on artificial surfaces, grass, gravel, hail. rain or snow, on any other kind of surface or condition for that matter-in a Rangers jersey, not this side of the summer break anyway"
  8. Is it all crests\badges i.e. the lion rampant one, and the RFC logo on the top?
  9. What has happened to Barrie McKay since he went out on loan? A confident BM would have relished that surface last night. He would have given more than Temps.
  10. I'm not having a pop at you at all Pete. Just the feeling I have that we should consider a victory the only option now and QoS should not be considered 'in our league' if we want promotion.
  11. Drawing is not an option for me. This is Rangers. Going to Dumfries being content with a draw feels all wrong. We have got to beat Hibs in a play off and then the likes of Motherwell who are flying. Fighting for a draw with QoS isn't promotion material.
  12. Like Charles Green you mean?
  13. Well, he would pass the fit and proper test at least. 'Fit' to stand trial as a 'proper' robbing bastard. I don't see Wallace being anywhere near Ibrox (although I have really nothing against him) for one simple reason. The current board state they are picking through the tenure of the last regime with a fine toothed comb, with nobody innocent until proven otherwise. Wallace was part of that period - just a fact. He was the one who asked for a cooling off period of 120 days (with no transparency) and it failed big style. Probably not his fault I know, but can you imagine if the current regime took him on, only to find out he was culpable is some shape or form? No way - it ain't going to happen.
  14. rearrange these letters - T H R U G I N
  15. GS you are looking very silly with that comment. It's time to stop I think.
  16. It could very well be Zappa. Do you recall if she she used to sit in the main stand - always dressed very business like?
  17. I've no interest in taking sides in this but Amo is no angel. In the Spring of 2000 he gave an interview to the Rangers News to the effect that 'when Rangers decide they are finished with you they kick you in the nuts (or something like that)'. The girl who did the interview was a blonde girl who used to sit in the main stand (Lyn? Some of the guys will remember who I'm talking about). She was Iain Kings assistant at the News back then. Advocaat called Amo in with Iain King and the blonde girl (whose name I forget). I was actually in Ibrox that day on a much more trivial matter and I remember it was Durie's leaving do and they had to wait for the meeting to finish before they could go on their bash. Anyway Advocaat asked Amo if he had anything to say. "Yes" was his reply "I want her sacked. She is a liar. I didn't say that." At which point Iain King switched on the tape which had been used to record the bold Amo's words which proved he was lying and was willing to let the girl get sacked. Shortly after Iain King left the News to go to The Sun and I don't know where the girl went. I remember Amo fondly as a player but not as a man. just my opinion.
  18. I'm not jumping on any bandwagon here, but I find this staggeringly naive and stupid if its is the same David Low I'm thinking of.
  19. The only things that crash and burn on a regular basis Rab are your tips that King is an imposter, but you do keep trying.
  20. You don't know that. You have no foundation for saying that. Another cheap snipe at King & Co when they are hardly in the door (granted you didn't want them in the door at all). Yet another cheap snipe at King & Co. Your language is the language of a bitter man towards them - GUILTY already eh? Give us a break and get over the fact that men who care for the Club are in for the long haul now. Not the type of men you supported, who WERE GUILTY of pulling off the 'Geordie Five' heist under our noses to the tune of £500K and more. You did speak of your admiration for Llambias right??? You my friend ARE GUILTY of a serious error of judgement.
  21. He made a couple of howlers against Hibs as well though that could have cost us dearly. He missed the flight of the ball on the penalty spot in the first half and the boy headed wide of a gaping goal. And in the second half he lost the ball at the back, and let the guy in on goal. Luckily he chose the wrong option and we got away with it. So even on his 'better' games we need luck on our side that his howlers don't cost us.
  22. He has that 'whats he going to do' gift. He will frustrate at times (I lost the rag with Coop at times FFS), but he has skill which is why we watch the game. A thumbs up from me. And I love seeing men wearing the jersey who look like they love it.
  23. Apologies mate. I'm first to complain when a thread goes off track with the same tedious stuff, and I'm being a hypocrite.
