  1. There is also no chance whatsoever of it being an attempted murder conviction. It will be plea bargained to serious assault.
  2. They are in custody (on remand) awaiting trial.
  3. OK maybe I'm being a thick ass. I'm not AGAINST any of these resolutions so I didn't select any. When I click 'Vote Now' it says 'you haven't chosen any selections'.
  4. When? Can you give details of which leagues and when Rab. Your reply was very wooly. Sebo, Capucho, and multitudes of other failures have played in better leagues than ours. Means zilch!!
  5. Based on what? No fluffy answers like "got to be better than what we've got etc". Based on what exactly Rab? For someone who needs convinced to the finest degree normally (when it comes to King at least) you don't half change your tune when it comes to 5 unknown players who couldn't make an impact at Rochdale, Port Vale etc, when on loan. Weird that!
  6. How can he quote a figure loony tunes? He doesn't know what size of financial hole your 'preferred option' will leave behind them once their arses are kicked out the door. He will only find that out once he looks at the books. He also stated that there would be several investors. It's not just King.
  7. Aw Rab - shut the f@ck up ya crackpot!! I can't be feckin arsed with your drivel tonight about King. Feckin' broken record. Oh BTW admins I will happily take a ban for my outburst. It's worth it as I can't take this guy's garbage any more anyway.
  8. Also can you imagine if a couple of these guys were around the place on a Monday when the likes of Ian Black came strolling in? I would like to see what 'Wee Doddy' would have to say to him. "Can I have your autograph Ian?" - I think not!!!
  9. The first team and manager is priority. King stated so this week. So that's that one settled. What will it achieve? It's one of the least expensive ways open to a football Club to maximise their corporate hospitality opportunities etc. Punters love to meet and chat to their heroes of the past while being wined and dined etc. Why do you think that mob over the road started it again in a big way? It's a money spinner and also brings back a huge feelgood factor having the corridors filled with legends. It's a 'no-brainer' unless unless it isn't of course.
  10. Nothing too surprising really. I thought Dave King would have bigger fish to fry at the moment than wonder how to sort out ambassadorial type roles within the corridors of Ibrox. With John on board he can start that kind of stuff immediately as that is basically John's forte. For example Sandy Jardine worked in sales for John at Scottish Brewers before he became an employee of the Club again, and John was instrumental in that from what I gather, as Sandy continued to ensure healthy relations between Scottish Brewers and the Club, to the point the were given offices inside the stadium. He has been brought on board as the man with a finger on the pulse with regards to the feelings among the fans, and to develop marketing strategies that the fans can relate to (not semi-final t-shirts etc). From what I know of him he strongly believes in having 'legends' around the place in ambassadorial roles is a good start down that road. I must admit that I agree with that approach. What I don't agree with is if their roles go beyond that, and we end up down an old tired road, but I don't see that happening. I truly believe they know that a freshness is needed at a managerial and coaching level. John will be putting that across for sure. I believe this is purely from a marketing perspective.
  11. John Gilligan's input in to all of this is becoming a bit clearer.
  12. On what grounds? I'm losing track now. I thought an EGM was unavoidable.
  13. Practicing the 'blooter'.
  14. I find it strange people feel that King is somehow 'out of touch' with what the fans feel. Or he has been out of touch with what his 'obligations' are. This man has had his finger on the pulse of what is going on far more than the vast majority of us. What we forget at times is that he owes us nothing!! We get our hopes built up that' date=' because of his wealth, he will do X,Y and Z, and then when he doesn't...he is this and that. Yet damp squibs like Jim McColl really have trully been utter weak let downs. [b']We are still hugely fortunate that this man has hung around to fight the fight.[/b] Yet still we hear - "he could have done more", "he's gone quiet", "He says too much", "He doesn't buy shares", "He will re-hire McCoist 'cos they are joined at the hip", "He doesn't hang around [this wonderful country :-)] between battles when we need him". He is a human being at the end of the day. A highly successful one at that. He is not perfect. He refused point blank to line others' pockets - maybe to the point of stubbornness - as is his right!! He owes us nothing!! Lets just be thankful he is giving us hope. Because no other sod is!! To the man 'who would be King' - thank you, and good luck!
  15. All rights of MASH to nominate two persons for potential appointment to the board of directors of the Company and RFC have now lapsed. SD has the right to nominate two persons for potential appointment to the board of directors of the Company, but has not currently exercised this right. The correct position is that MASH never had the right to directly appoint directors of RFC. What???
  16. I thought it was a very refreshing articulate interview, and from a man who looks ready to drive us out of the dark.
  17. We know that the whole squad need dropped, but KMcD doesn't agree. He is going to show loyalty to his current players whether we like it or not. It could be some time before we see these guys 'on show'. There is likely to be a 'Mexican stand-off' between the current management team and the board initially, and something\somebody will have to give, probably the current management team. If the current crop of players feel the same way as KMcD etc then we could lose much more ground in the league, while this mess gets sorted. It's ill thought out, and too many people are looking at it too simplistically - 'great 5 new players - get them in'.
  18. ASDA FC? (A Sports Direct Annexe - Franchise Club)
  19. Are you????? I question seriously what you know about football if you are. This isn't one of those FIFA console games mate where you add players to your team and they start performing. Why the word 'Big' in the title? Very misleading to posters.
  20. Word for word almost of what I was going to reply.
  21. Does it matter how good they are? Give the best set of tools that money can buy to a bad tradesman, and you will still get a bad job.
