  1. I agree, as angry as I am at the SFA if we're not going to get a licence otherwise then we need to accept, if anything there's no time to drag it through courts again etc. Season starts in 11 days.
  2. If I met Charles Green in town i'd certainly invite him to have a drink.
  3. Poor Mrs Green.
  4. None of this is really HMRC's fault, I do question how they let the EBTs drag on so much though.
  5. Craig Whyte is gone and was always going to be gone, a CVA prosposal couldn't have been put out if a deal for his shares hadn't been done.
  6. Then why in their statement did they talk about wanting a liquidation so they could investigate individuals, letting Rangers make a fresh start etc. They have no reason to lie or pacify us, so why did they not just come out and say they rejected it simply because the amount was too low? I think you're totally wrong Zappa, with the EBT stuff and Craig Whyte not paying PAYE I believe it would have taken something special for them to accept a CVA.
  7. TBK's CVA was not in their interests either.
  8. Leggo is suggesting some sinister refusal to reveal things and Whyte hiding behind the curtains. This all just sounds like some basic procedure and questioning.
  9. Their statement clearly indicated amounts weren't the main issue. Like I said, their heads may have been turned if it had been about 50 million and close to paying them back in full but we'd have needed a Sheik type bidder for that.
  10. The big tax case was clearly being considered, totals in the CVA report showed that. You really need to stop avoiding that elephant in the room.
  11. Kennedy said something similar, before you start using it as another stick to beat Green with.
  12. Not at all, HMRC said wanting to do an investigation was a key part of their rejection. I think the CVA would have had to have been worth about 50 million or even more for them to accept.
  13. Why would we not? The players would still have been mercenary, self serving twats, would have just walked sooner if anything.
  14. I'm backing you Charles.
  15. I believe he thought that, but the guy is delusional.
  16. There was nothing to lose by trying it, if we'd gone down the newco route straight away I doubt any of us would have been happy.
  17. Of course not, i'm not saying Whyte's delusions are correct am I?

  19. In Division 3? Will be difficult.
  20. There's no reason for him to be involved, his shares are worthless.
  21. It's clear cut whether Whyte is involved or not, and he's not. I'm behind Green TBH, the stuff against him has been nothing but unproven accusations from random people.
  22. Green denied any Whyte involvement on SSN today.
  23. "Our hero". Sorry, that automatically makes him not worth listening to for me.
  24. So the transfer ban is nothing to do with it then? More Leggo shite.
