  1. I use the term 'die hards' tongue in cheek because really I'm meaning people like you and Calscot who talk a lot of shite and can't see the glaringly obvious.
  2. A specific thread for McCoist means that the die hards can avoid it and keep their head in the sand, The ironic thing here is that regardless of our off field problems, our on field problems could be just as problematic. Football is dictated on the pitch and our entire club has no strategy about how it should be conducted.
  3. The ironic thing about Arsenal is despite the manager's philosophy, they have a terrible track record in youth development. Then again, is there any team in the UK that does well on this front?
  4. lol, Marvin Andrews steps up and falls over to much laughter, says a lot really. Then Ian Murray hits the corner flag.
  5. You don't have to wait for time to tell you anything, I'll happily tell you the guy is a shite manager. I'm no McCoist 'hater', I just deal in facts and unlike all you uber fans, I'm not afraid of the truth. As for the times we face, that's a horrific excuse. He's got players on 10k plus a week and lacks the ingenuity to beat Annan Athletic.
  6. Ignore him mate. I have yet to see a single post of his that I agree with. You would think he was employed by the club to type nonsensical promotional hyperbole. Give him his credit though, he's certainly consistent. And when you start working out equations in the 3rd division you are either a troll or a grade A fucking moron.
  7. Ferguson won a European trophy with an SPL team which isn't far off a miracle. You couldn't have picked a worse comparison if you tried. McCoist hasn't ever shown any signs of being a decent manager. It's not like he's a spring chicken either, he's almost 50 and he's been coaching at the club for years
  8. I wish people would stop mentioning him being a legend as a player. I personally couldn't give two fucks if our manager was previously the captain of ROI, so long as we played football the correct way
  9. I've never seen such an obvious thing result in so much debate. It was quite clear when he failed to win 4 matches against the doldrums of Europe that he didn't have it in him
  10. He's shite but at least Scotland try to keep the ball on the deck.
  11. The EPL has become a horrible bastard of a league with no sense of heritage. The irony is that despite the money that's being dished out, there's only 4 particularly decent sides, then a couple of sides like Spurs and Everton that are ok
  12. And out comes the 'Messi/Barca/Brazil' flippant remark, deflecting the fact that most rugby teams would probably be ashamed to play as we go
  13. What's wrong with what he said? The SPL is one of the worst leagues in the world, possibly on a par with the Conference. And we're 3 divisions below that. PS - If we were playing anything resembling proper football and there was some sort of long term plan in place I wouldn't really be that bothered about the results. But it's typical Rangers, short term goals with no idea what tomorrow brings
  14. What does Ally have to do before the penny drops? He's a terrible version of Walter Smith. And that really isn't a very desirable thing
  15. He's 'not a manager' but should be given the benefit of the doubt? :disgusted: This is like John Greig being on the board, jobs for the boys even though the skills are clearly not there.
  16. There's about at least 11 or 12 horrific teams in the EPL. It doesn't really mean anything.
  17. Up until recent years we were paying superstar wages and we would be lucky to even reach the group stage of the CL. We rarely even tried to score when we played in Europe
  18. Up and down? We have been a train wreck in Europe for most of my living memory. A team of internationals got gubbed by Gotenburg under Smith, and another set got dumped out by Viktoria Zizkov under Eck. This is the sort of thing that has repeatedly happened. A team of players on tiny wages give us a lesson in Europe. Of course McCoist succeeded in failing to win 4 qualifying matches against shite European opposition, but he is such a terrible manager that it's barely worth talking about
  19. Walter's brand of football was good enough to win the SPL 9 times out of 10 but it's hardly a long term philosophy.
  20. McLeish is an unemployed loser that signed about 50 shite players that got paid off. He only played good football in the first 18 months when he had Advocaats team
  21. Maybe when he had the likes of Gazza and Laudrup where creative football was forced. In his second stint, the only time we played anything resembling decent football was in the last few games of 2010/11
  22. Won trophies in Scotland, hardly the greatest of challenges. Complete disaster in Europe bar 2 seasons
