..........and so it begins. The wonderful new era. If people seriously think we will get £7.5m for 3 years rights, they are deluded. They might tell us that to smooth things over and cook the books so it looks like it. In the front door, out the back. Bunch of fucking crooks. I thought our support was wider than this, obviously not. In reality all that will happen, is our stadium will become a living advertisement for that stupid fake geordie prick. Fucking disgraceful..............if true.

Towards the end their arses were getting a little twitchy, if I remember rightly. All an act of course.

We were never headed for oblivion. A newco route was the plan, from probably as far back as Murray selling to whyte. Everything else in between, was just rats skimming money. The only person I've heard say that we could vanish altogether, is green. I wonder why.
-
Like I said D'art, if we are due monies under the law, we will get them. Of course we should pursue them, even if it is a lost cause, in my opinion. It's the constant bad-mouthing in public I find distasteful. Him saying players will waste time and miss training doesn't sound like a very strong legal argument to me. The other clubs coughed up to avoid the hassle of all this, not because of any legal obligation. I would have more respect for green if he went after D&P for bumping him for the money he paid for their contracts. The tupe laws seem pretty clear to me, and I cant see us winning. The best we can hope for is out of court settlements, which is what he's pushing for with his "missing training", speeches. Maybe we will make a few hundred thousand from this, but the damage it does to our reputation could be much more costly.

Of course man. The one shining light is our youth getting good game time, and showing up supposed better well paid experienced pro's. We might not even have seen most of them if all this hadnt happened. All this "close to oblivion" pish really annoys me. Another myth spouted by D&P, and green.

Great stuff. I could do with help paying my gas bill. When do I start?

In answer to your questions, I'd like to suggest the following. Owner-someone who wont rob us blind and piss down the back of our necks and tell us its raining. Manager- someone who can actually manage a football team, and not be given the job because of legend staus. League to play in-Whatever league the football authorities tell us to play in. Or we can continue to spout pish about england and euro leagues, if it keeps you happy.
-
Great speech man. I can hardly say it to your face on a football forum, and I say the same shit to anyone that will listen in the real world also. Maybe the reason I moan so much is because the whole situation is totally fucked up, and there is plenty to moan about. If all you want to hear is good things and how everything in the garden is rosey, I suggest maybe a football forum isn't the best place for you. Ironic you complain about people moaning, and then write a 1000 word essay.........moaning.

It's not personal, or hatred. I don't like the way he goes about things, so I say it. I'm sure he's a decent enough chap, away from robbing my club blind. Maybe time will prove me wrong, and he wont bolt with his loot, leaving us in shit street again. I can help but think that our support have created an uncontrollable monster, and he is starting to believe his own hype.
-
The way he is now telling these clubs that their players will be stuck in hampden for a week arguing their case, instead of training, is a sickening way for us to be conducting ourselves, no matter what you think of the players. Trying to blackmail them to settle because he knows he has a poor case against them. It's pathetic.
-
I'd guess most teams are at least above 50%. Great to see we are leading the way in bucking this trend.
-
I'm talking about us buying their players, or even loan deals.
-
Most semi successful clubs dont ever smell a profit. Green is about to change all that, if you believe the hype.
-
We'll be lucky if any english club ever deals with us again, after greens threatening letters he sent them all pre-season. The bravado looks good on tv, but in the end, it damages the club.

Whatever Murray did, or didnt make from Rangers, he still delivered on the pitch. The bank took it out of his hands in the end. In a way, we are all culpable for this, with our constant demand for success on the park. If Murray is gulilty of anything, it's not telling us, enough is enough. I think people are in for a big shock when greens plans start to swing in to action and hefty share dividends start firing out the back door. Spending 33% of turnover on players, is a one way ticket to mediocrity.
-
Of course Murray made mistakes, Craig. I just think he made them with the best intentions for Rangers. I think the diference I'm trying to point out, is he never, ever seen Rangers as a cash cow for his personal gain. This is quite unlike mr green and co.
-
I wasn't comparing them to Hitler and Stalin......
-
Yes you're right. All the crookedness stopped the day saint green came on the scene. History will be the judge of them both, not you or I. Murray's only crime was making us the best team in Scotland for over a decade. Cirumstances beyond his control led us to where we are now. Whyte came along like a vulture to pick at the bones, and green is reaping the reward. The only people that will suffer are us, and the team. Id take Muray back in a heartbeat, if it meant green was gone. That's not an admiration of Murray, it's a disgust of green
-
You couldnt be more wrong. I rarely even mention Murray. Comparing green to Murray, is like comparing Hitler to Stalin.
-
It was you that mentioned Murray, not me.
-
Who owns Rangers then GS, if not green. He's certainly the biggest individual shareholder, and that's before you factor in the "secret" shareholders.
-
Murray= 9 in a row, a few SC, LC. Baw hair from CL final. Green=Top of a pub league. KO from Ramsdens cup by QotS, KO from LC by Caley Thistle. Pumping in the post from dundee hibs. Seeing as we are comparing......
-
Champions league music is a long way away from english non-league football. In fact, if we move to england, we can kiss goodbye to ever playing CL football again. You're right, charlie was born for this. Born to talk pish. Can someone quote this, just to annoy cotter, lol
-
Who mentioned Murray?
