  1. However his name is pronounced -and I'm guessing Pehnya, or Peynya- I think that he is the key player for PC.

The problem is that he came here with a lot of extraneous baggage, related to lifestyle, and there was some quite heated argument on these boards about his signing. Without these issues, I suspect he would never have been anywhere near Ibrox, and certainly not at the price.

He looks overweight, and, clearly, he is not match fit. The questions are what, and how long, will it take to get him up to scratch? Let's hope he will start matches sooner rather than later.

he's considered less fit than NK

just let that sink in for a second

    £3M spent

  2. Too freaking bad that reality does not work like Generation Playstation / FIFA Manager is used to, right?

you've rabbited the same shit for 5 years on 3 different failures

I'd have thought that you'd have learned your lesson

  3. I hope this isn't too soon but I like to think we are above the madness.

yes I know going down to 10 changed everything but Hibs were smart enough to exploit that

I used to think Lennon was a chequebook manager like Ally...but that was a good side I saw today

    so credit where it's due

look I'm devastated like everyone else

    christ

    i thought i was pissed

  4. I think we will have to agree to disagree my friend.

Other than the ridiculous sending off of Halliday for fist pumping a Rangers goal today was the worst refereeing performance I have EVER seen. You get some terrible decisions but today really didn't look like a ref having an off day - it looked like a ref attempting, and succeeding, in influencing the result in a particular direction.

halliday was ordered off for celebrating a goal 50 yards from anyone else

i'm not having that this atrocious performance was anything new or to be shocked about

its a symptom of a system that we collectively have acquiesced to

the assaults on the Rangers staff at the cup final should have been the watershed moment and nary a fuck was given

  5. I maybe just didn't want to believe it before, but at least previously it wasn't done so blatantly, well not that I could tell anyway. I put it down to poor refereeing. Today however has not necessarily changed my mind about previous instances, but it's certainly made me aware that it now exists. I'm furious and absolutely gutted at the same time. I don't want to accept that this is part of the game up here.

    prophetic words

  6. There should be outrage every time it happens though, otherwise you can't make change.

The Tims got the officials on their side a few years ago with the "questions must be asked" statements about the impartiality of refs - and are still reaping the rewards today.

there has been plenty said about ridiculous refereeing though

there is nothing significent about this particular decision,

in fact we've seen way worse including a full studs up into the chest of a Rangers player and nothing was given, may have been Stirling albion away when their manger went on his honeymoon and left the training cone in charge

  7. Unfortunately? I had to miss game today but to put things right with Craig without having seen any of today's action we have had to put up with this standard of refereeing constantly throughout the "journey".

    yeah, complete agreement here

why the sudden outrage at the type of thing that has been going on for years?

  8. Well, that makes you a member of the same club as the dog handler, Speirs,

and that, for a Rangers' man, is not good. Doubleplus ungood, actually.

Be careful lest we have to judge you by the company you are keeping.

even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

  9. It seems hypocritical to me that you can call someone a dud so early on in his career, and yet you can't praise him after the first two games of the new season, and the only two where he's had his first team on the park.

I'd like to think any manager of Rangers deserves the time to prove himself one way or another.

its not difficult at all actually after the 5-1 humiliation which flattered us to be perfectly honest and Progres which plumbed a depth I didn't think possible

beating motherwell and dunfermline, worthy of praise? really?

once we've won the first 7 games and put on a performance - at least - agiant the fhilth then yes a corner may well have been turned

  10. Its a question hence the ? at the end. You can throw in 3 good friendly performances aswell which will reflect how the team is developing. Nobody says he is Mourinho and nobody has said he is a buffoon. We are simply judging 'The now'.

I've said he was a dud

if he turns it round i'll be the first to admit i was totally wrong

that point remains some way off in the future, not after 2 games of this season.
