he will have a better idea than us if that's possible. Season book cash prize money and sponsorship cash etc I expect if it's not loans.
Will be (pleasantly) surprised if the squad is given £12m of improvements.

What have i got to be raging about? Dave and his gang in control despite all your best wishes? Looking good from my window.
Quiet! The adults are speaking now.

he will fund those he says. We will have millions coming in just now. A share issue in September will cover any shortfall.
Read his mission statement it seems clear to me. We need to spend more to get where we need to be. He will fund any shortfall with his investors that causes.
I have read everything that he has put out both recently and in the past.
Money needs to be spent on the team, circa £12m, which he has said will come from the money coming in from season tickets. If they don't bring in that figure, the investors will meet the shortfall. I get all that.
My question is how do they get through to September? As much as we would all love it to be true, money can't be spent twice.

well the season ticket money then. This is for the team.
And the day to day running costs come from where? Do you not agree that it doesn't add up?

King said in his mission to season book holders he would fund the shortfalls this season
Fund it how?
There can't be much left in the bank at this point in time, the ST money is going on the team, he has stated that there will be no more loans, and any share issue will not happen until at least September.

I don't recall you pointing out flaws, merely seeking clarification. But don't bother as this thread already has the 3 witches round the pot trying to cast a spell on Dave King. You would almost think you want failure for the new board rather than success for the team. Well the news is the board ain't going anywhere so start brewing your potion you girls.
You're an over-sensitive wee rager where Dave King is concerned and have been since before he took control. If you can't accept that others have doubts about certain things or will ask questions then you are going to have a few more purple face moments in the future.

Can we not wait at least a week before doubting him , try even giving the new team a couple of bounce games perhaps , just a thought
This isn't North Korea.

All right for some, though next to New York (where I've been a few times out of necessity and hate with a vengeance), I think Vegas is the least appeaiing place in the US from my personal perspective. I would be interested to see Utah.
Would you bring back a wee momento?

Where we getting all this money from?
You got a death wish?

I shall try again also (and try to ignore your hint of sarcasm about 'Dave's plan' which clearly shows why you aren't getting this - because you don't want to).
If we are trailing by 13 points for example, he has said on record that, if need be, in the January window he will spend what it takes to win us the league. By the same respect if we are winning it in a canter, he can go for players in the January window that can supplement a good (probably predominantly British squad) with maybe a bit more flair from overseas so that we can maybe make an impact on our first season back in the Premier. It's not difficult (unless you are in the 'difficult' business) so I won't elaborate any more or I will send everyone to sleep.
If asking you to acknowledge the flaws in what you posted is me being difficult, then so be it.
If we are trailing by 13 points for example, he has said on record that, if need be, in the January window he will spend what it takes to win us the league. That is not something which can be planned.

I just explained it. Here you are again.
I shall try again....
Rangers trailed Hearts by 13 points at the start of January 2015 and were reduced to going for the play-offs. If they find themselves in a similar position one year later how does Dave's plan work then?

This guy is coming because he wants to work with Warburton, which is great, and even better that Warburton wants to work with him (better than buying players on the strength of videos). British players are also well aware that with Rangers they could play in Europe within a year or two whereas they could go their whole career without that prospect in England. They understand where we are and why, and are willing to accept it for future gain.
While I agree we should be spreading our net further afield than the English Championship, don't forget what Dave King said, which makes much more sense now. Strengthen the squad now and re-assess what you need during the January transfer window. It may well be very difficult just now to persuade foreign players to come based on where we are, but come January if you have got the league and a cup run in your sights it may well be much easier to entice a foreign player with Premier League football in a few months time or the chance of Europe.
Hearts had the league sewn up by January last season. How does that scenario work then?

Sport not about attention, it's about winning and being as successful as possible.
Tonya Harding, Lance Armstrong and Tom Williams all agree!

Yet he somehow managed to make the final of one of the two European competitions, not bad for someone managing in a nation outside the top 20.
As they were 10th at that point, the achievement isn't even half as good as you thought!

Will you be supplying the hookers and the charlie, BH?

You continue to argue semantics. There is little point anymore. The Tims, sheep and every other Rangers-hater will say we are dead. Let them. The SFA, SPFL, ECA, UEFA and Lord Nimmo all say otherwise - the authorities back our stance which is all we need.
Arguing semantics is futile these days.
I feel that something did die back in 2012 and no amount of arguments which quote corporate law will change that for the better and I really couldn't give a shit whether that will help the cause of some obsessive.

There you have it, folks, close the thread!

And who's best placed to comment - you or AJ ?
I haven't made any comment other than to say that you, and at your insistence, AJ, should be providing answers instead of questions.

I seem to remember that Whyte was the only one running the show and knew where the money went*. He had an FD, but (according to that person) told him exactly what he had to do with regards to tax et al. Why the FD did not went public is another matter. And BTW, this is not about conspiracies, but how a club-comapny can be run and was. And if anything, it was dubious in the very least. This info is out there as well (can't remember the FD's name right now), so perhaps we stick the conspiracy standards as well as the assumption that Whyte could have been somehow stopped in-house, shouldn't we?
*Remember the similarities in this respect under Green and his heirs.
Are you referring to Ken 'Clip Art' Olverman? He knew everything that was going on but chose, for whatever reason, to keep schtum about the whole thing. He got the benefit of the doubt from many as he was meant to be a good guy Rangers man. Without any knowledge of the law, he appears to be lucky that he is not sharing the same dock as Whyte and Withey.

Not just me. AJ too.
I will tell him the same if he ever posts on the subject.

It's worth noting that duff and Phelps ran up millions of this debt to hmrc. But then why wouldn't they they knew we were going to be liquidated and wanted any money for themselves.
Of course they did, but they still got paid over £100k for arranging the sham CVA.

Whyte was effectively running Rangers on his own so he was responsible
RFC were responsible for the payments as it was RFC who collected those stoppages from RFC employees. Geddit?
0 -
Why did HMRC allow Whyte to go on as long as he did without paying?
If you are going to continually peddle these conspiracy theories, it is you who has to provide the answers, not the questions.
