  1. That simply can't happen , it's a very simplistic idea but from my understanding having been to some of the meetings it's not possible , if you know different please enlighten me

I don't know different. Are you saying that the groups can't disband; individuals are not able to get a refund; or both?

  2. No that's not what I meant at all , the way these are set up legally means they might not be able to come together , they have hundreds of thousands of pounds invested and are liable to their members

Disband them first. Each member can then be given what's due to them and make a choice as to what they do with their personal investment. It doesn't sound very complicated.

  3. I fully accept that , however when they are getting stories planted in the papers etc it's when the line is crossed

It's only due to better relations with the press that these stories are getting stopped , but it won't always work

Get this new blogger of yours to put the indisputable evidence out there and put this to bed.

  4. Perhaps plgsarmy or FS can clarify?

Does this mean this existing organisations would be expected to fold into one new group affiliated with club?

Looks like it is to be nothing more than yet another layer for those who enjoy being on a committee, with existing organisations being free to carry on with their divisive ways.

Default Rangers interested in ex St Mirren player John Mcginn

Rangers and Hearts both interested in 20 year old Midfielder. Will pm my source to admin.

    Great, yet another left footer!

  6. They can go out and blow mad money on Pogba now. It does seem a bit inverted that Man City have restrictions yet the money spent is pocket change for the owners but Man Utd don't have restrictions but have a (manageable) 9 figure debt.

Aye, it's nuts. UEFA have watered down the rules now to encourage investment, so it's now a case of 'as you were'. Pointless exercise.

  7. That doesn't mean that it cant be fluid though, right ? If Warburton says to him "Dave, you told me I would have 7 decent players to work with here but they are all shite - I need at least 3 or 4 more" - you don't think King will try to provide for the additions ?

The reality, for me at least, is that when King said that I wasn't paying too much attention to it. Why ? Because he isn't the football person and, at that time, didn't even have a manager. You can hang, draw and quarter him by every word he mutters if you like, that is your prerogative.

Me ? I will just play the wait and see for now. See how we are on the pitch, see how much comes in by way of investment in the timelines provided. This Board wont be perfect, but I have no doubts they will at least have the Clubs best interests at the forefront.

Besides, when he said we would make "6 or 7 signings".... how do you know he didn't mean NET ? We have lost 11 players and signed 4 (if you only include Wilson, Kiernan, Foderingham, Wabara.... - so NET we have lost 7 players.... therefore we can expect to see a further 13 or 14 players coming in :D :fish: Seriously though.... do we know for sure he meant simply 7 new faces or did he mean replace SOME of the departures AND 6 or 7 new players ?

You asked a question and got an answer to it that you didn't want, nor expect. Everything since then has been desperate.

  8. Assuming we do sign Eustace & Wabara that would make 5 signings, but even with one of them involving a small transfer fee and the signing fees of the other 4 taken into account Warburton won't have spent much, so I'd assume there will still be at least another 3 or 4 players to come in.

Look, I just provided information that King said in one of his interviews.

  9. It's very reminiscent of 2006.

An abomination of a season results in the acquisition of a highly respected coach who likes football played the proper way. There then follows the arrival of a series of relatively obscure players, some of whom the manager had dealt with previously, and a couple who were better known.

For Warburton's sake he had better get off to a flyer as the support will turn on him and no doubt the board will announce that more funds were available if he had wanted them. I still think that his way is correct, but by God, he's making a noose for himself.
