Succession planning, another best in class we are miles away from.

    That remains to be seen.

Besides, you can plan the succession of every role, type it up, get it laminated and be very self-satisfied that it’s a good plan… only to find that your identified options are not available; or that if they are, that they don’t fancy it.

Is that what you believe defines Rangers?

Ive been thinking about this but it’s hard to pin down, though I think it could be one element of it.

It does attempt to establish some values, that’s not the whole brand.  I think organisational culture, values and behaviours are related to this, and I’m similarly not sure if we could pin those down quickly.

As you know, r_s is the master of the slow play so that it takes time for his hand to be revealed, if ever.

I assume his position is that a demand being dumb doesn’t mean or indeed imply, that the person making the demand is dumb. It’s a reasonable inference to draw, however, entitling the reader to an explanation why he should not so infer.

Expect the explanation sometime on Friday morning - if ever.

A generous assessment of his motives and methods.  I expect only continued trolling.

    Maybe.

I've wanted the club to engage with fans in the past.

Each new demand for engagement seems dumber than the last though.

I don't see any reason for the fans to be informed about anything other than fixtures and prices.

Why would fans asking for engagement be dumb?

There is no point in the board engaging with the fans.

Stupid complaints will persist no matter how much engagement there is.

Quite encouraging that the board is wasting as little time as necessary on stuff like that.

Are you against fan engagement in its entirety?
