  1. Its ridiculous how bad it is.

I tried to buy away tickets recently for the Aberdeen semi and the Killie/St J fixtures, having previously requested the requirement via Mygers... yet when I went to check out, it was insisting I could only purchase said tickets if I had first purchased the requirement.  Eventually I just gave up.

    Really?

I agree the gradual return of "our Alfie" is a huge positive, I thought Kent played well 2nd half, as did Fashion Jnr.

3 very good goals - all well worked and well taken (eventually when talking about Kents lol).

2nd half Kamara and Lundstram pushed 10-15 yards further forward and allowed us to build quicker and more effectively.

After we equalised I don't think us getting a positive result was in any doubt.

Hardly a perfect performance but a win that was never in doubt and should have been more emphatic.

No not really, but I was a lot happier at 3-1.  I’m just concerned our GK situation is deteriorating and this habit of going behind will cost us sooner or later.

Mine came from a club physio, Stewarty.

Fair enough. I recall him talking about it on the Open Goal/Si Ferry podcast, but that might be the version he wanted to tell.

I believe Windass was punted due to him having had a repeated injury (can't recall if it was hammy or achilles) and his subsequent numbers falling below a certain percentage.

My recollection was that he wanted to play as a main striker, Gerrard saw it differently, we got a bid from Wigan that met our valuation and asked him if he wanted to talk to them, he took the hump that we didn't all have the same opinion that he has of himself, and high-tailed it down the M6.

  5. Jack for me.  There were several good performances in the end but I felt it was Jack who knitted it together, helped link play, got us forward and snuffed out danger more effectively.

notable performances clearly from Sakala, Morelos )who I thought gave their defence problems instantly despite playing through his injury issues), and Davies (looking solid and was anticipating things well).

Or it could be that we have an incompetent director of football who can’t get a deal done. My suspicions are growing for this theory.

I’m not so sure about that.  Beale himself said at Friday’s press conference that he wanted to sit down with any signings and have a detailed discussion about the role he wanted them to play in the team.  He also said that because of his schedule he only had time to start doing that this week.

Further, he said that he would have the final say on any deal.  So it seems like he has likely made some decisions on who he wants to make offers for, so at that point it’s over to Wilson to negotiate and get the deal done.

Seems like a fairly logical process, albeit like most I’d have been happier had we already got at least one name in at this stage.

Hmm. Colour me cynical but I've yet to see anything from Celtic bemoaning the new TV deal for thier pals at Sky..

Indeed.   I fail to see why they would be happy with a deal that limits their income, much as we are.  But I think they saw an avenue to let us continue ploughing a lone furrow on SPFL governance, and are picking their battles to maintain as much influence as they can by seeming to place the rest of the country against big bad Rangers (again).
