  1. You have a club constitution that demands that the club lives within in its means....
  2. I'd have them in till 5 pm every day if they arent fit.....
  3. Anyway I would like to think anyone that is clearly not showing the required effort from now on in is dealt with appropriately.
  4. Absolute scandalous accusation to make.....i am not to sure legally whether he gets away with it on the choice of "i assume" .....certainly merits an official complaint from the club. I hope the new incumbents in the boardroom receive the necessary breathing space from all of the fan base. Criticism and scrutiny is only right as long as it is fair and constructive.
  5. Alas, you do wonder what is the point. One of the prime motivations of having a supporte ron the Board would be to act as liaison to the ordinary support...... The idea that an element of our support are out to publicly entrap/out him is absolutely despicable, especially given all our troubles.
  6. I dont mind Muslims, blacks, Jews, Catholics, Chinese being on our board but no fekin way am i accepting a women on the board. What a suggestion....!!!
  7. Well I think theres more to this but i do take on board comments about the board worried about fit and proper test blah blah ... If there is no family pressure reason or other tweets etc I think it is a poor decision in light of the witch-hunts by certain sectarian elements of the media. And make no mistake the haters and the bigots have won.
  8. Some of the stuff....if it is his....is utterly indefensible. Fair enough expressing opinions but going on racist derogatory rants is quite another thing.
  9. I see the Record is now going after another one of our fans....an utter witch-hunt.
  10. In the name of God, do people not get what the tweet was about...the tweet was about showing solidarity with those murdered and the right to offend/have freedom of speech... So he offended someone....that was the whole point as was millions of other tweets and the Je suis Charlie protests. CG has done nothing wrong in this context ....if he did it 3 years ago or tomorrow he may well have a case to answer.
  11. Totally disproportionate....sending young people to prison for this is scandalous. I would like to see the law changed that a person must first be warned and if they continue then the Police can charge/caution/arrest......the authorities are out of step as to why people are singing these songs...the vast majority are singing them for football reasons and not sectarian reasons.
  12. I don't think the board should be criticised for this appointment ....it is the next appointment that will need long-term thinking. How could the board possibly done any better given the circumstances....look at the circumstances ....second tier of a backward football nation with a lazy group of players looking odds on not to get promoted .....yup hence the scramble from every up and coming manager / high profile coach to take the reins .....
  13. Absolutely scandalous Police Scotland have launched an investigation into this. A complete witch-hunt ...... Je suis Charlie Hebdo
  14. A sherriff claiming tge singing of TBB could lead to 'horrendous violence'.... overstatement and simply untrue. I am not defending TBB but branding the sentence as disproportionate. Sing TBB and you risk beheading .....
  15. They will soon demand Rangers fans bow down and get beheaded.....first they came for the Jews indeed....and I said nothing....
  16. Perhaps Dr Asid might wish and go and say that to the victims families (of the massacre). Then he and others might well understand the context of the tweet..... If Chris Graham had done this another time he would have a case to answer. Firstly, he was not a director of Rangers at the time and secondly the tweet was sent in the context of the massascre and not independently of it. Well I challenge Dr Asid Khan to launch an investigation as to why a particular demographic of Muslims are unwilling to embrace Western culture, despite living in it and enjoying its peaceful benefits; are unable to accept freedom of speech and satire; and are unwilling to accept the democratic rule of the majority of the country. Guess what certain aspects of Islamic culture get right up my nose but I respect their right to practise it. But i maintain the absolute right to mock religion and the inhumane treatment of women and the implementation of medieval forms of punishment. Je suis Charlie.
  17. I see BBC Scumdogs have another anti-Rangers story up about the jailing of a fan for singing TBB....,,, I am sorry jailing people for this absolutely wrong and a waste of public money. Yeah the words of the song need changed but jailing people for this is quite simply unacceptable.....fines or cautions fair enough.
  18. Chris Graham ... need only apologise for any offence caused and for those (the press and obsessed) unable to comprehend the tweet in the context of the Charlie maasacre it mayneeded to be explained it was in defence of freedom of speech and satirism. He was not representing Rangets FC at the time and in no way is the tweet an attack on Islam or homoaexuality... to think that way shows a basic lack of understanding of the context. Ask the Herald why they are unwilling to publish said cartoons, and then ask why are they so keen to highlight Rangers FC being connected to publishing a cartoon ??? It is a cartoon in case the faux offended don't get it.
  19. Herald headline could say 'Rangers director shows support for victims of Charlie Hebdo massacre' 'Rangers director stands up against hate preacher ....' Perhaps the club should be asking the Herald these questions and whether it has the balls to publish cartoons and fight fascism/ terrorism/ fight for freedom of speech ??? Fuck the Herald, Je suis Charlie Hebdo
  20. Likening Chris Graham to Sandy Easdale......get a grip...Now which one has spent serious time in prison for being a criminal. That has how low our club had stooped to under the previous regime.... The Easdales...ya couldn't meet a nicer couple of lads ....i'm telling ya ...so says Mr Irvine.
  21. He was not on the board at the time of the tweet. If pressed on the issue all he has to say is that he respects all peace-loving Muslims worldwide and his comments should be seen in the context of similar outpourings of support for the satirists of Charlie Hebdo that were brutally murdered by Islamic terrorists.
  22. Why should he need to go... it was clearly done with the intentions of showing soladarity for those murdered in Paris and that terrorism / fascism will not silence the people's right to express themselves in a fair-minded manner. To view it as Islamophobia is to show a basic lack of understanding around the tragic events of Paris and the aftermath. Chris Graham should stand firm on this. In the long run it will be good for the club. In the short term, I can see some elements of the bigoted press trying to muddy this with sectariansm .....
  23. Great news as an interim appointment ...the board has acted.
  24. Anyone that had dealings with these two individuals would want them nowhere nrar Ibrox ....
