    Buba3d, I do not see what is amusing about the statement..... whilst the club can be punitively punished or fans convicted of a criminal offence for singing such songs, it is worthwhile making such a statement. There is a democratic process through which such laws can be challenged.... fight it through due process rather than have the clubs name tarnished or punitively punished by the likes of UEFA.

    One of the many things a new board needs to do is to ban all the fraudulent directors from Ibrox for life. A strongly worded hand delivered letter in full view of the cameras would be the very least i would expect.

    Like it or not we live in a society increasingly intolerent of intolerance .... as long as we sing these 'football' songs (the vast majority sing them for football reasons not religious reasons) we will be attacked by the intolerant brainwashed twisted bigots that inhabit certain sections of the media. But this is not the problem ... the problem is two-fold .... A) Losing future supporter base because parents push children to other teams because of the perceived issue B) UEFA and the possible draconian punishments that could come our way.

    The trouble is we have been warned and it is now law. I think the law should be challenged somehow. In the meantime, the fans should cease to sing the banned songs but mock the lack of freedom of speech. My problem is that UEFA has already taken action and it is only a matter of time before we are punitively punished by The SFA/UEFA. And for fucks sake, super-prods we have nearly lost our club, have we not suffered enough !!! Stop the singing meantime and challenge it through other means / courts /democratic institutions ..... We are at risk of losing future fans because of EPL exposure etc, do we really need anymore negative issues !

    It is amazing that same descriptors come up time after time when the board is mentioned...it is some kind of genetically imbedded dna language that commonly describes them ......crooks, scumbags, parasites, ****s, cowards etc .... And ofcourse, I would not pish on them if they were on fire .....which seems rather appropriate in the case of one or two of our more discredited directors. One can but hope they end up behind bars one day.

    Given the role of agents, advisors and the general move to individualism, I really cannot condemn the players for leaving....they would have been advised to. That being said too many fans believed Whyte, Duff and Phelps, Green etc ... I'd take Naismith back ....
