Incidentally, here are the projections from the last three years - although made around half way through the season, so the xG will be more accurate then; it's still too early to draw conclusions from the one above. They all invariably say he's taking drugs, yet it turns out to be pretty accurate.

Projected points of 81! Low. It does show how they've dropped their level since big Ange. This data is premature, though: we'll get a better picture from the data when we've all played each other twice.

Still without a club. He did well at New York Red Bulls; won back-to-back doubles at Red Bull Salzburg; bombed at RB Leipzig; prematurely sacked at Leeds, IMO, but wasn’t brilliant. He has the right CV, but I would have question marks about him being an option for us.

I'm going to pull a Roy Keane: Butland pulled off a save but, THAT'S HIS JOB! I went with Lammers. He had far more shots than anyone else (8 compared to Dessers in second with 3). He's doing something right. I'd like to see him play up front rather than as a #10, where I think he's wasted.

It appears I should have added: "Mainly because I think that's the kind of football that would excite the fans [but also because it would be effective football]." I wouldn't suggest a style/coach if it didn't include effective, winning football.

I would explore Germany and/or the Red Bull ecosystem for the next talented coaches. Mainly because I think that's the kind of football that would excite the fans.
