  1. Have a look at both of their respective managerial careers and get back to us.
  2. Oh, yes: if it's a straight choice, it's Muscat. I just have that sneaking suspicion...
  3. When the Lampard chat started. When the Lampard chat won't go away.
  4. Some just can't get past this 'Rangers man' nonsense.
  5. I might delay it if it's a wet winter...
  6. That just proves what a stupid idea it is.
  7. I think you've summed it up very well. In defence of Hasenhuttl's win%, he has tended to manage underdogs. He was appointed Leipzig manager for their first season in the Bundesliga and finished 2nd. I still retain a glimmer of hope for Potter, but I fully admit that it's unlikely. Clement does seem like the best of the 'likely' options.
  8. I won't be around to watch the juniors...
  9. I wondered why it wasn't on. I was missing it. I'll need to look into Discovery+ now...
  10. Yes, Gallardo is not a realistic option.
  11. Beale was third in terms of votes. We had two votes for Muscat, too - @Gonzo79 and @BlackSocksRedTops
  12. Potter is my preference. Hasenhuttl, Clement or Knutsen would be acceptable.
  13. Added Clement and Hasenhuttl.
  14. My issue is whether he can implement that style on his own, from scratch. His success has come following directly from Ange.
  15. Make sure to click on 'make names public' so they're named and shamed.
  16. You have to fill in the content box - as if you were making a normal post. Just switch back to the content tab and fill that in before submitting.
  17. Create new topic, then click the poll tab at the top.
  18. Oliver Glassner is still without a club.
  19. Are the Ibrox Noise folk credible? I don't think they are, are they? Anyway, according to them the shortlist is: "Graham Potter. Kjetil Knutsen. Pascal Jansen. And Kevin Muscat."
  20. I completely agree. I've always been in favour if a properly integrated B team, both within the club and within the league pyramid/structure. Alas! Dinosaurs and incompetents run our game...
  21. What do you mean?
  22. As a manager in his own right he has taken charge of 50 games. What is it you think he has achieved to deserve an interview? By all means add him to a watchlist and monitor how he does over the following few years. That's sensible. To answer your question, though: No.
  23. I wasn't dismissing his early work at Sheffield Utd at all - I am actually a big fan of his tactical use of the overlapping centre-back in the back-three. However, IMO, a large part of his success was because he had a good group of players which propelled him up to the PL, but once those players fell out of the team or he didn't have them (i.e. Middlesborough and Watford) he hasn't had any success, or he hasn't been able to recreate it. Whether I'm being harsh or not, it's factually correct. I don't want Lampard and Jansen, either.
  24. It was, wasn't it? They were bottom of the table (after 28 games) when he was sacked. He had also fallen out with the club's hierarchy and some of the players, IIRC? That's not dismissing his excellent early work at Sheffield Utd.
