I don't think he's mobile enough. I agree that the others haven't done anything - or not been given a proper chance yet (i.e. Danilo) - but they do 'fit' in terms of style. I was just talking about style, not their effectiveness. None have been effective, IMO.

I agree with your point, but I actually think all the new forwards fit - except Dessers. Lammers' stats suggested a pressing forward, which fits a high press. I never thought he was a #10, which is where he has been played. Cantwell is far superior and had been very effective in that role. But, you're right, it has been a mess, in terms of set-up and use of players. It's a different front three every week! I don't know why he hasn't built on some interesting ideas, re the diamond. Perhaps he can't, or doesn't know how? I have other issues with recruitment, too.
