  1. Of course it was! You copied my score. I need a maximum to have any chance.
  2. Rangers 4 - 1 Hearts FGS Morelos @buster.
  3. I quite like that team - other than McCrorie not playing, but I can understand giving McGregor a home send-off.
  4. Lol Seeing that Morelos starts, I think it's written he'll score.
  5. Rangers 3 - 1 Hearts FGS Morelos
  6. I disagree. Personally, I think the only thing Lawrence has is a long shot, which is catnip for many fans - like Kevin Thomson and a hard tackle. (I'll admit I'm being harsh, here, though.) Stats (from Championship, because he hasn't played enough for us to have any) show he takes a lot of shots, created himself, but his creativity (assists, progressive passes and progressive carries) is rather low. I thought he's be higher with the progressive carries because he was a winger that can dribble.
  7. Hence why I wrote, 'if MB continues with the 4-3-1-2', and I also said that I could see Lawrence playing if MB plays two #10s, which he has most recently against Hibs. Generally Cantwell has played as one of the #8, because we had Tillman, but most recently Cantwell has been playing as a #10.
  8. The only acceptable plates are Royal Doulton with hand painted periwinkles. Edit: I've tried to force a Hyacinth reference, but I'm not sure it works.
  9. Why? We've got Barisic to play centre-half. Sorted.
  10. @Bill and @BlackSocksRedTops -- Lawrence, Cantwell, Dowell, Hagi, Lowry and, when the king returns, Tillman, for one or two positions. Lawrence is bottom of the list, for me; and a #10 isn't his position, he's a winger. I think you've all been duped by Lawrence because he scored a couple of goals in the 5 games he played in the league.
  11. If MB continues with the 4-3-1-2, I don't see a place for Lawrence. He won't play as the #10 over Cantwell or Dowell. Maybe if we play with two #10s, which MB has switched to in certain games (e.g. Hibs).
  12. I'm intrigued by Dowell. He was held in similar regard to Cantwell as a youngster. The difference being Cantwell has had more PL experience. Another technical #10.
  13. When you say '[Butland has] had an ok career, but he's a Championship level keeper with an iffy injury record', you really are diminishing his ability to make a point. However, I don't disagree with your general point in the post I was referencing.
  14. That was OK when every player did the same thing in a given position, but positions are specialised now. Two forwards can be chalk and cheese in terms of style, yet both can be best for a team that suits them. Take Joelinton. Superb at Hoffenhiem as a link-up, target man, but never a goalscorer. Newcastle take him and play him as a goal scoring number 9 and he's useless. Then Howe drops him deeper, as a link-up player - nearer to what he did best at Hoffenheim - and he's a revelation.
