  1. It could, but I would need to separate out the data. I can work on it.
  2. I made this, too. I've had a lot of time on my hands...
  3. Our rolling xG over the course of the season (League and Europe, NOT Cups). Poor start, good middle, then horrible recently - our xGA actually went higher than our xG! Our xG is quite stable, hovering around 2 per game, but is on the low side. We get into trouble when our xG Against increases, like recently. That period around match 20 was good: we scored a lot of goals and conceded very few.
  4. Our CBs are noticeably deeper, which is not much of a surprise. Diomande was not as advanced as usual. Nature of the game, or deliberate tactic? Cerny again our highest positioned player.
  5. @compo vexes me...
  6. What are your thoughts, folks?
  7. Nope. First Rangers Goalscorer was Cerny.
  8. A few Correct Scores despite the pessimism before the game. Correct Result (1 pt): Everyone who entered (except Lenny and Ted). Correct Number of Rangers Goals (1pt): SBG, One, Stewarty and MacK. FGS (2 pts): - Correct Score (3 pts): SBG, One, Stewarty and MacK. Latest Standings:
  9. *cough* top of headed clearances out of both teams *cough*
  10. We've still not had a shot on goal...
  11. FFS, John! You're looking along the line!
  12. This is the guy that had the league won last season in december...
  13. Hearts 0 - 1 Rangers FGS Igamane
  14. I am happy with the approach, although I would agree we haven't quite got it right in terms of our core targets, as I said above. In fairness, I believe there were more immediate objectives (reducing wage bill, reducing squad age, etc.) that have taken priority this season, as NK outlined - part of the reason why I had written it off. I'm hopeful we'll see improvement in this area in the summer.
  15. Koppen has mentioned it a couple of times. I can't recall style, but there were three categories of players ('The recruitment strategy will continue to focus on a balance of core, investment, and impact players'), that would mix youth and experience. Jefte, Nsiala, Fernandes and Igamane are projects and investments. Cerny and Propper are impact players; quality or experience to give the team a boost. Propper may have been a personal contact but still fits the profiles outlined. Scots, like Barron, Souttar, Kelly, Cameron are more core players and investments. The plan is to sign at least one Scot a year, IIRC? Core players would be Diomande, Bajrami, Kasanwirjo, Kelly maybe? I've been happy with the general approach, but I have been critical of the lack of first-team players of quality.
  16. "[Nils Koppen] clarified that this would mean we recruit towards a club blueprint of player and playing style, and not towards the style of any given coach or manager."
