I don't mind selling naming rights, personally, but I think there will be a lot of pushback from fans. I understand; I just don't see it happening. For all their flaws, they are fans, they do care, so they won't relinquish control to any Tom, Dick or Harry. With a new CEO and Chairman, hopefully we see better decision-making.

It's a forum - we're here to discuss. I think we'll agree when that change you desire materialises. It will happen eventually: Clement will lose his job and the board will be replaced, eventually.

They're trying to reduce our spending while growing revenue. It's basic but necessary. I'm not afraid of change, I just don't see where the sort of change you desire comes from. If it appears I'll get behind it. Until then I'd rather see us become sustainable.

Because this is realistic, 'change' is vague. I don't know what it means. It is cost-cutting because we're spending too much, as you said. The next stage is player trading. If some investor comes in tomorrow with an offer I'll get behind that, within reason.

'Moonhowling' wasn't my word. I'm not unsympathetic to your position (the board have failed), but I'm unclear how you think we should progress. 'Sack the board' and 'step aside' seem to be the same thing, to me. Maybe not as harsh. So, you want another lead shareholder to step forward to take control and replace the board. I'm sure we'd all like that, but is it realistic? Are we sure they're not already looking for investment? I'm not aware of any serious offers or interest. It's all a bit vague. Getting behind the rebuild is more realistic, to me.

It's interesting. Three of those names Koppen - or the DoF, if we ever appoint one - should have on a long list. I mentioned keeping track of Martin when he was at MK Dons and Swansea. Clearly that paragraph mentioning Moyes was a typo. I understand where you're coming from, but I don't like that idea of contacts - recruitment should, IMO, be in the hands of the Director of Recruitment.
