I was delighted to see McCann and King get a game. I didn't think they stood out, though. King was solid enough. McCann was a little anonymous, but I don't think that's his position. I certainly wouldn't mark them down for it.

I was going to change my GPL prediction, adding a goal or two to my original 1-0 score. I think I'll leave it... (I changed the FGS.)

I disagree. Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Leeds, Southampton, Tottenham, Brighton, Arsenal, Brentford, Crystal Palace etc., all play better football than anyone in Scotland.

I think he was playing in a double pivot in that game, with Davis. You'd expect one of them to move further forward in that situation.

I think it's a waste to play Lundstram back there - not that he doesn't do a good job when required. I like a back-three, but I'd prefer we played King, Goldson and Sands - or Davies, if fit.

Any word on Lowry?
