I'm firmly in the 'Helander is better than Katic' camp. Katic is better in the air and is a goal-threat at set-pieces; Helander is better with his feet and better at reading the game - and it's not just booting it out: When Helander reads the game, we tend to keep possession, and start attacks; Katic just boots it out. I prefer the latter. I do love the guy [Katic]; there's a lot to admire in his passion and aggressive style. If he could combine that with better positional sense, and be able to play a pass, then he'd be some player. To be fair, he can still learn that.

I don't know. I hoped someone would correct me. I bloody hope so...

I read that Liverpool's throw-in coach has implemented a 5 second policy (they have to take the throw-in within 5 seconds of getting it, so opponents don't have a chance to set up). I noted yesterday we had players standing with the ball in their hands for ages waiting for something to happen. Hearts were set.

I don't think Polster is great, but going from yesterday's performance, he's got a better all-round game than Flanagan. I'd still say Flanagan is the better defender, though.

Like I said earlier, hopefully this is the shot in the arm we need. These performances cannot continue.

We miss Tavernier and Morelos, but that's a cop-out: virtually the whole team were terrible today (outwith Aribo and Goldson, and Polster who I had forgotten about). This XI, playing well, should be enough to see off Hearts.

Couple of points, but not many. No one got the Correct Result. BD picks up 1 point for the Correct Number Of Rangers Goals. ModdyBlue, Gafffer, Ian, TB and Coop gained 2 points for Kent as FGS. No one got the Correct Score. Latest Standings:

I'd like another striker in. Even if these situations are extreme (No Morelos or Stewart), we do need something different. But, I'm not going to blame that on this performance. We've been awful since the restart, and I think we've been fortunate to not lose more points. Aribo was the only player that did well today; and Goldson. The rest were terrible -- even Davis, who's usually so dependable, couldn't even make a simple 5 yard pass.

Why are we playing volleyball? Get it on the deck.

This is depressing.

I feel like Davis is second guessing himself. He goes to do one thing, then tries to do something else. He tries to turn on a simple ball back to the 'keeper and almost looses it. It's the same with aerial challenges too.

That was stunning play from Aribo. It just whistles past the far post.
