Wavers so much we have record season ticket sales (despite not knowing if we'd get into games for the 2nd season), merchandise sales continue to rise, share issues, I could go on - hardly wavering. The one constant is the financial input from the fans. As for £45 being a lot, or not, for someone working part-time, on a zero hour contract, full time education, unemployed or not working due to Covid, £45 the payday after Christmas will be pocket change for them. 99% of them will have purchased their ticket. Asking for a few days grace isn't a sign or wavering. Plenty chose the option to pay their season tickets in instalments, doesn't make their support "wavering" it just suits their financial situation.

But there has to be a concern as I think most of us believed 55 was going to be a platform to build on. In football it's often say you build from a position of strength. We didn't invest in the squad correctly in the summer and doesn't look like we'll invest this month (A couple of loan deals aside). Given the potential prize at the end of the season it was reasonable to think we'd take a sensible punt in the transfer market. We all knew they would (and they have), they have also continued to sell players and replace them successfully. I might be 100% wrong and on my own when I sense that there is something not right at the club. From SGs departure, Kings fall out with Park Jnr and his "partnership" with Club 1872..... hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't add up. Now I know and understand that 99% of the fans ain't interested in all that, they just want a winning team on the pitch. However I'm interested in medium to long term plans, how these are going to be properly managed and funded. Covid mag have thrown a spanner into the works, but it's something we the fans deserve. After all we are the "single" biggest investor the club has....

We are, and we've been top of the league for the majority of the season. However the gap has been closed and we're one result away from not being top of the league. Where in reality, we should have been out of sight. We are kidding ourselves on if we don't believe the momentum has swung in their direction. They are at home and will rightly fancy their chances (I know I would if the positions were reversed). We have a decent recent record against them and I think we have better players than them but that doesn't always mean the better team. We don't seem to be playing as a team and our performances this season have been littered by individual mistakes. Wednesday is huge and will go a long way in showing the character (or lack off) of this group and players and management team.

Is it? What signs of positivity do you see from this season's form that should make us confident that we can win the league? We have been consistently poor all season. We've seen our lead disappear to a single point. We started the season under SG and weren't the same as last season. We've then changed managers but the performances remain largely unconvincing. In a two horse race, a draw is as bad as a loss and we've now handed all the momentum to our opponents. Whilst they are hardly blowing teams away, they are finding ways to win, even with 10 men. That is a concern.

What an utter pile of crap. How do you know people's financial positions? £45 before payday after Christmas is a lot of money to some people. Just because it's not to you, doesn't mean it isn't to the person sitting next to you. Hardly knicker wetters, what an utter crass ridiculous comment. And those that were impacted asked for a little more time to pay, sure the vast majority stumped up once they had been paid. To question the financial support the fans give the club is ludicrous - it's often taken for granted but it is unwavering.

So 6 players, 5 who are regular starters, that's just under half our team. Maybe I'm panicking unnecessarily..... I would like the board to be questioned more at AGMs. Questions about quality of the pies are not going to put them under the spotlight. AGMs are stagemanged, always have been, always will be. I never said the current board hadn't invested. But if we're using the best part of £17m to cover wages, we're in trouble next season unless we uncover another Patterson. We have record season ticket sales, commercial partnerships, Europa League income, merchandise sales etc, what's that money be used for? I suggest if we require £17M on top of all that to pay wages, we better look at a different financial structure pronto as that would unsustainable. Asking the board to reinvest a sensible percentage of £17M isn't nonsense, it's a fans right to ask / expect it, considering that's what was "hinted" by the board when we received the Patterson fee... And not to mention / considering the unwavering financial support the fans give the club (season tickets, kits, MyGers, European sell outs, Club 72 or whatever it's called now, Edminston House, memberships, hospitality, corporate hospitality, share issues etc)

Potentially. And at what cost to the team? The secret IMO is to get their replacements in before you sell them. This season was hugely important given the possibility of automatic CL qualification and a guaranteed £30-40M. Given that reward and circa £17M brought in, gambling £3-5M on a couple of players was probably worth it.

So who have we signed in this transfer window who fits into that model? Sands on a loan with option to buy and Soutar? Can't see us getting untold millions for them if / when we sell them. The only three who could fit that model are Aribo, Alfie and Kamara We ain't gonna make much on Borna, Goldson, Tav, Kent, Roofe, Itten, Greegs, Davis, Jack, Arfield, Balogun, Itten, Wright.......

We've tried to copy Celtics signing policy and failed (thus far). We can only sell players if we have offers on the table. We've arguably held onto players for too long, but again that depends in whether we've received offers. Goldson is entitled to run down his contract, nothing we can do about it unless someone is stupid enough to make us an offer. We are miles away from them financially as the last two transfer windows have shown.

It's not - we have record season ticket sales, a world record number of commercial partnerships, have received circa £5M for SG and his team and circa £12M for Patterson. We were told that the short-term deficits were covered before we received the money for Patterson. If that's the case, where has it gone? Or are we not getting the whole truth. This board have "credit in the bank" doesn't mean we can't question them. Also, I was alluding to an appetite for a "fight" as well as taking us forward. At best we've stagnated, at worse we regressed and the board must face and answer for their part in that and explain / road map our short / medium and long term strategies. As it stands we have lots of players out of contract in the summer and don't know if they'll extend or leave. Gio confirmed this in a recent press conference.
