  1. Without sending too much like a Tim, but the biggest danger to us tonight is this referee
  2. Still feel we can take some thing from the game tonight. Even as it stands, I'd fancy us at Ibrox. Just need to keep composure and there will be more opportunities for us to score.
  3. What a fucked up 1st half of football that was - never a penalty and how did he get 8 mins injury time? Ref has been terrible from the start. VAR is the way forward right enough
  4. How's that not a booking? Officials are shocking
  5. How ironic - Patterson fucked up, fake injury news around Tav and looks like Tavs out for a while
  6. Rangers 1 v Antwerp 0 Alfie FGS
  7. Anyone who has ever had to deal with employment law will know that you can't sack anyone "immediately", there are stringent processes in place that must be followed or you leave yourself open to a claim for unfair dismissal. Disciplinary proceedings may have been instigated but as SG stated, this is now (rightly) an internal matter.
  8. We don't know for certain that theyve done anything tho. All we know is Police Scotland confirmed 10 fixed penalties were handed out when they broke up a "gathering" early Sunday morning at an address in Glasgow. Anything further is just hearsay at the moment.
  9. Patterson's family and his girlfriemd still maintaining that he was not part of this and that they were alone together on Saturday night. https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/sport/19094092.amp/?__twitter_impression=true
  10. Not on Twitter and would love to enter comp.
  11. Even if it does, there is no need to go public. All we have to comment on are the events of Saturday night. Players as tested regularly enough and all must have been negative at their last test- wouldn't have been in squad if they. Police confirmed 10 people were handed Covid breach fines, with 4 Rangers players being implicated. We're not seriously thinking the entire 10 were Rangers players? Let's just wait and see what our investigation unearths, no point in speculating.
  12. Yup but to be fair to Sturgeon she said she was aware of the allegations and that Rangers were investigating and moved swiftly on much to the BBC's annoyance no doubt.
  13. Thankfully Miss Sturgeon has more pressing concerns to worry about and gave short-shift to question put to her by BBC regarding this issue.
  14. Interesting the Patterson family took to social media last night denying he was involved.
  15. Yeah, idiotic if true but will await the clubs official response to their investigation.
  16. Good article detailing just how much we've improved our (and Scotlands) European coefficient ------------- No team on the continent can match the rise of the Ibrox club since they returned to the Europa League. Rangers are the most improved team in Europe, it can be revealed. And the Ibrox club stand just one point from returning an automatic place in the Champions League group stage. Rangers face Royal Antwerp in the first leg of their Europa League last 32 tie on Thursday as they return to continental action, and domestically they're on the verge of being back in the big time. One more point will guarantee them a place in the Champions League for next season, while winning the title could yet bring an automatic group stage spot depending on how far Steven Gerrard 's side go in Europe this term. However they do though, the improvement since the Liverpool legend arrived has been unparalleled in European football.UEFA ranks clubs according to their performances in the Champions League and Europa League, with Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Juventus currently making up the top three. The coefficients are calculated over a five-year average, meaning Rangers didn't have a coefficient of their own when they returned to European football in 2017.Instead they were seeded according to the coefficient of the Premiership as a whole, which at the time stood at just 3.785.That put Rangers in a notional place of 308th, sandwiched between FK Baku and Shirak Gyumri.Their exploits since then have Steven Gerrard's side currently sitting in 61st with 26.250 and progression against Antwerp would see that rise still further. That's an incredible rise of 247 places over the past four seasons - and the first of those ended with an ignominious defeat to Progres Niederkorn.Of the teams in the top 100 not many can even come close, though Serie A outfit Atalanta can tell a similar tale. They too returned to Europe in 2017 without a coefficient score and Gian Piero Gasperini's side sit in 26th with 50.500 points. The Orobici have reached the Champions League knockout stages in each of the past two seasons. But the Bergamo outfit were starting with the Serie A coefficient which, unsurprisingly was streets ahead of the Scottish top flight in 2017.Atalanta began from a notional position of 131st with 14.666 points, so while their 105 place rise is impressive it doesn't match Rangers.Other impressive rises include Slavia Prague going from 180th to 40th over that period, and LASK of Austria moving up 188 places to 67th.But none can come close to matching the rise of Rangers, who will hope to climb even further by progressing to the last 16.
  17. Nothing, but we need a whipping boy(s). Been same for years, fans always need someone to decry and at the moment it's Kent, Aribo and Itten
