I can't argue with that. I can only add that is not just a Rangers problem and maybe even a social problem. Certainly a football problem. You could see yesterday that at the beginning of the second half Sheffield tried the high push. We struggled for a few minutes and then went for the long ball which allowed us to push up on them. after about 10 minutes their high push weakened and we started to gain control again. The goal would also have helped of course.

The thing about keeping them together as a team is you can get them used to a club system and the players know each other inside out. That is a big help for players breaking into the first team. Indeed when they say young PSV then it is not totally true as some fringe players are normally involved as well.

Because we are no longer so slow at the back the defenders can push higher up the park making the space between the midfield and defence smaller. Jack also has made a huge difference. He reads the game like big Davy Smith and is almost always in the right position. The ball is a magnet to him.
