@Bill I believe(not sure) you were also a successful business man so you possibly know an answer to a question that I have. Is there not a law that a director of a company can't do things that will be to the detriment of the company. Why then has nobody at Rangers tried to take Derek Llambias and Somers to court. That SD contract was set up only to help one firm and it wasn't Rangers.

Nah , not really. Throw away remark. Nobody ever listens to me anyway. I do find certain people negative to in the extreme though. -

On such a day it should be mandatory to supply free water. Recently in Holland at a pop festival on a really hot day they started charging 6 euro's for a bottle of water. The Dutch government made it law at such festivals and events they have to supply free water or their licence will be revoked -

My memory is not great but if I remember Worrel was monumental in the game we went down to 9 men. I think it was UFA(?) -

I have totally no idea why some don't see the bomb-scare that Goldson is. Katic saved his backside often last season until Worrel was brought in. He couldn't save himself never mind Goldson as well. I guess we will just have to admit we all see things differently. Edmundson did make a few mistakes but mostly sorted it himself. A McGregor save saved his skin though. He was not MOTM but had a reasonable game. Lets also not forget a goalkeeper is part of the team and has a job to do as everyone else. When he makes a save he is doing his job as he is trained to do it is not luck it is skill. -
Yeh watching on the telly they have 3 sides of segregation.

Middleton showed he was not ready for the step up. I thought that was pretty obvious. -
Why the hell can we not just sing about the team we love.

You are doing what the hate media do. You have made your sentence look like all Rangers fans were behind Ashely. There were a minimum number of fans possibly behind Ashely. Ashely fell because a huge huge majority of Rangers fans boycotted Rangers products from SD. Rangers fans even produced football kits that the fans could buy and sent the profits to Rangers Who needs enemies when we have friends springs to mind.

40 degrees here and I decided to lay 50x50cm garden slabs. What was that old song? Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun -

lets just say it is not a thing i deem important as a football fan. I don't want Robots on the park and stats making players frightened to play football because it might upset their stats. George Best, Johan Cruijff or Maradonna didn't need stats. -

I am not sure that Lafferty was Gerrards choice. I think that lies with mark Allen. Gerrard was not long in the door when the Lafferty deal was done. It was reported later that Gerrard was not happy with some of Allen's choices. There were even Rumours Gerrard was about to walk away. Whether that was rubbish or they had a good discussion about the signing policy I don't know, -

Yes he has been caught with the ball in a good few games that led to a goal. Against Aberdeen probably his biggest. -

These statistics mean nothing as it is a pinprick in a football game. If you take Kamara. He does 90% brilliant things but then makes the mistake that gets you gubbed. His stats look great but he lost a number of points and that is what the game is about. -
I don't think Blair can be taken seriously again by a court and should definitely fall on his sword. If a judge can read through all the papers to make a decision then a team of lawyers should be able to do that as well. God knows they are paid high enough and are likely to come out of this as the only winners.

Funny how Goldson seems to have two camps with the spectrum pretty far apart. I personally I think Goldson is a bomb-scare and Katic is the best defender between the two. I will reserve judgement on the other two until I have seen them play more games. One thing both teams have luck with is that the first game is at Ibrox. Scotland is forecast with 27 degrees so at 8.00pm the temperature should be reasonable to play football in. In Luxembourg and all over the continent temperatures are ready to hit a record 40-41 degrees on Thursday. That would have probably been a game of last man standing. I know one thing I am staying indoors until it cools off at the weekend. -
