My reply was tongue in cheek Ian that is why I added the wink. I just can't believe so much negativity after a handful of games. Sometimes it takes a while to get up and running. If you(not personally) go to a new job you always feel strange for the first few weeks and don't open up to anyone. As time goes bye you feel more at ease and in the end feel at home. I can imagine this is happening amongst our players. It is just too early for a witchhunt on Ally,lets leave that to the SPL.

Simply, I am not one of Ally's fans and stated often I did not want him to get the job at this time. That opinion has never changed, he should have managed a smaller team first. To call for his head at this moment is ludicrous in my opinion. The season has just started and we are trying to find our feet. We had 2 youth players and a RB that has hardly played for a while playing today. I agree we have to start winning but sacking Ally at this moment is no guarantee that we will do better under a new manager.

Can anyone show me a league that started in August that was won before September reached it's halfway point. Patience is a virtue as they say.

Today Annan played with 2 blocks of 5. I remember we done that to Barcelona and they called it anti-football. That is the way it is going to be for most games and it isn't easy to pass your way through it. Barcelona couldn't get past us then and we will struggle to play a passing game pretty often I am afraid. getting the first goal will be important although it didn't help us against Peterhead and Brechin.

I actually disagree that the difference in standard is so big, and these players are playing for their lives. We will get used to that eventually and start winning. Messi like football I am afraid is light years away but that has been the fact for years.

The fact is that only Wallace, McCulloch and maybe Perry were Rangers first team players last season. We are just back from having totally nothing. We were in Administration ffs. Two months ago I was praying we would still have a club. 23 players walked out the door. I have high expectations of Rangers I just realise that Rome(excuses) was not built in a day. You guy's were just sitting waiting to have a crack at Ally. I almost said hoping Ally fails there just managed to stop myself.

You accept mediocrity as a positive for yourself but expect instant success from players who are young or new and just trying to find their feet.

Being a football manager is also what happens off the field an Ally is playing a blinder in that aspect. I agree though he has to get it right on the field eventually. Off to watch FC Twente. Back later.
