  1. Last I checked, the Record were the only ones carrying this story.
  2. Fair enough blog, but one thing which irks me to this day about Whyte is a point I have raised and no one has been able to answer it. Why is it, when this 'serious businessman' comes under attack from the press, not one past colleague or business associate defends him? There have been plenty of attacks - Record, BBC, etc, but not one single vote of support - not a solitary voice giving his business past a defence of some sort.
  3. It used to be very reliable. Nowdays, aside the obvious issues inside the Scottish portion, the rest of the network has deteriorated into a tabloid channel. Oh, and I fucking HATE Nick Robinson. How the BBC can have that idiot as their political editor is beyond me, while James Landale, who's infinitely better, is merely the deputy. Just one of the many reasons to dislike the Beeb these days.
  4. Ha! tbh you take a bit of the credit for making some very valid points on Twitter last night. When RS led with the story I was starting to get a little irritated by it, and could only describe it as turning into a bit of an obsession. Then you tweeted about how they ignored the Celtic fan slashing another and I really couldn't argue with that point. That said, did STV news have the latter story?
  5. You're spot on with everything you say, but for the BBC to ignore the slashing of a Celtic fan by another Celtic fan and instead lead with this conjecture of a headline story does suggest there are people in Pacific Quay who wield the power and hate Rangers. They appear to be controlling this anti-Whyte campaign and it's tiresome. You CANNOT make a story when you don't even know the facts. 'May' have lied? That's their story? Not 'DID LIE' - just 'may'. Not good enough for a supposed serious broadcaster. I don't buy the media bias conspiracy in general, but this is pretty obvious even to me by the BBC.
  6. Not gonna watch. I'm getting tired of their campaign now.
  7. Don't get me wrong, i don't like whyte nor trust him, but this IS starting to look like a witch hunt against him by pacific quay.
  8. I would take Daniel Cousin back in less than a heartbeat.
  9. In one match when the team was 'flying' he came on and looked like the ghost of Laudrup - running at defenders with pace, beating one or two... After a shite week where a cloud started to hang over the club following the window, he looked a completely different player. Couldn't pass, couldn't run with the ball, couldn't beat a man. He's 21 and learning the game, and we've seen 2 sides to his ability.
  10. Jelavic has been honest from day one, that his dream was to play in the EPL but that he was happy with life at Ibrox too. He never made stupid Cuellar-esque claims that he would stay for life, and we all knew if an EPL big boy came calling, he would be interested. The management, on the other hand (and I don't mean Ally), have told quite a few porkies since the new regime began. And I don't have an ounce of trust in the vast majority of them, Russell included.
  11. As a completely random aside, Jelavic didn't even start today. He's on the bench and hasn't been brought on yet. EDIT: He literally just came on as I posted this.
  12. So if you're appalled by people believing what they read, to the negative, why do you expect to be believed instead?
  13. A frankly racist/xenophobic comment: What an abysmal comment to make - not only is this blog a piece of shit, but he's smearing an entire nation in the process. Leggo is nothing but a gutter failed hack and it saddens me that he gets any attention at all.
  14. I heard there had been a complication and his return is by no means impending.
  15. He may have it, but with only one striker, his hands are tied. Our business in the last window has wrecked any real chance of a renaissance. McCoist has to work miracles with a depleted and weak squad. It's asking a hell of a lot.
  16. Paper Plane was a terrific track.
  17. I'm unconvinced we can indeed win the league. The odds are heavily against us, but there's a tiny part of me which wants to believe, that Ally can defy the shite he's putting up with and win the league gloriously. That would be an astounding achievement.
  18. I think, frankly, he's been treated like shit through this whole affair. He has one striker ffs!
  19. I'll change that minor detail
  20. http://ibroxnoise.blogspot.com/2012/02/stained-transfer-window.html January really wasn't a good month for bears.
  21. They're worse than that, they're 100% invalid and worthless. They're an inherently flawed way to gain opinion - they lead to inaccurate and generalising stats. Numbers do not represent opinion, far too quantitative. That all said, it was just a bit of fun ya miserable bastard!
  22. First Walter speaks out against the regime to the BBC, now Goram has followed suit.
  23. Just a silly poll to give some brief light relief after the hellish window we've just had.
  24. I don't want to talk about agendas
  25. You could easily sue because a news story is not meant to be opinion, it's meant to be fact.
