  2. TV rivals in Whyte fight EXCLUISVE BY KENNY MCALPINE SCOTLAND'S two biggest broadcasters will go to war today — over Craig Whyte. The BBC will run their controversial documentary on Rangers and their new owner at 7pm. But rivals STV will screen an exclusive interview with the millionaire an hour earlier. A source said: "Whyte thinks it is a stitch-up by the BBC. He will be getting his say before the Beeb run their programme. "No doubt all Old Firm fans will be tuning into both stations." 3. RANGERS may face another legal fight if they try to boot the BBC out of Ibrox. The footy giants â?? already mired in legal battles with ex-directors and the taxman â?? could be sued by the Beeb if club supremo Craig Whyte carries out his vow to banish the broadcaster. We told yesterday how the Gers owner snapped over a documentary â?? due to be screened tonight â?? he insists is "muckraking". But the corporation's deal with the SPL means the BBC must have access to every ground in the SPL as well as key interviews. And last night Beeb insiders say the broadcaster WILL take legal action if the club fails to meet the terms of its TV and radio obligations. One source said: "Rangers must like going to court because I can't see the BBC having any other option if they insist on this ban. "It's written on a contract that the BBC has the right to report on games." Earlier this week, former finance chief Donald McIntyre followed ex-director Martin Bain into court in a bid to ring-fence part of the club's assets. Rangers were last night unavailable for comment but a BBC spokesman said: "We hope it can be resolved." Meanwhile, Whyte, 40, hit out at critics, saying: "I'm only here to save Rangers." 4. RANGERSâ?? impressive start to the defence of their SPL title would suggest Ally McCoist has more than managed to build a strong starting line-up. But on the evidence of last nightâ??s friendly fixture victory over English Premier League giants Liverpool, the Ibrox manager also has plenty of strength in depth which could prove vital in the coming months of the campaign. It is often argued Celtic boss Neil Lennon has far greater resources at his disposal than his counterpart across the city, but it now appears that such an argument is outdated. With no European football this midweek in light of their failure to reach the Champions League or qualify for the Europa League, Rangers took the opportunity to invite Kenny Dalglishâ??s Liverpool north of the border. Naturally, the main thinking behind such a fixture would have been in financial terms, as the men running the club desperately try to claw back even a fraction of the money they lost out on at the start of the season when they were knocked out of both European competitions. On the pitch, though, it also proved to be a successful night as McCoist used the game to have a closer look at several of the players he has waiting on the wings and hoping to break into the first-team. It was an opportunity for Australian internationalist Matt McKay to show what he can do and try and stake a place for a competitive outing after spending most of his time on the bench following his move from Brisbane Roar. And he didnâ??t disappoint. His positional sense, and his overall awareness and knowledge of the game, impressed McCoist and he now provides the Light Blues boss with an alternative to youngster Gregg Wylde for the role on the left of midfield should the youngster lose form. On the other flank, Juan Manuel Ortiz managed to make a reasonable impact on occasions and as much as he hasnâ??t set the heather on fire, he is still a player who can deputise in a few positions across the back and in midfield should he be required to do so. A third summer signing, Alejandro Bedoya, was also decent enough against Liverpool without being outstanding and once again, he is another player McCoist knows he has waiting on the wings should the time come when he is required to make changes. When you then factor in that Kirk Broadfoot and Davie Weir came in to play at the back, with the latter looking particularly comfortable against £35m striker Andy Carroll â?? especially considering he hasnâ??t played for some time â??and that Kyle Bartley is still to return, McCoist probably has more viable defensive options available to him than Lennon. With Lee McCulloch getting some much-needed game-time and John Fleck coming off the bench as well as fellow youngsters Jordan McMillan and Ross Perry, there is actually an extremely strong squad of players in place at Ibrox. McCoist, as you might imagine, was really pleased with the 1-0 win which came courtesy of McCullochâ??s strike but it was the chance to see so many of his fringe players in action which delighted him more than the win over the Anfield club. â??It was a good exercise from the point of view that a lot of our lads got a game under their belt,â? explained McCoist. â??We managed to play a number of players who havenâ??t played that often for one reason or another and that was pleasing.â? He added: â??Big Davie came in at the back as did Kirk Braodfoot, Lee McCulloch started in the middle and we managed to start McKay, Ortiz and Bedoya â?? and I thought the three of them played well, as did the others. â??A few of the younger boys also came on at the end, so it was good to give everyone that needed a game some time on the pitch. â??And it is always a good workout when you are playing against a team with the quality Liverpool had out there. â??I thought we played very well on the night. We kept good possession of the ball and were well organized and restricted them to very few opportunities. We might have scored a second goal but overall it was a worthwhile exercise. â??With the two clubs not having European football this season, it was good to get a game and it sets us up nicely for going to Tynecastle on Sunday.â? McCoist might have everyone available on Sunday but there will come a time when one or two of his players start to drop out through injury and suspension. Knowing he has players ready to come in will provide the Rangers manager with a lot more confidence to deal with those problems when they inevitably arise. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/fringe-men-on-centre-stage-show-ally-mccoist-has-a-deep-pool-of-talent-1.1130115
  5. RANGERS owner Craig Whyte today denied he had forced club legend John Greig out of Ibrox. Greig quit as a director, along with former chairman John McClelland on Monday, claiming he had been isolated since Whyte bought the club in May. The shock development came in a week when the club’s off-field problems have mounted. The BBC yesterday became the latest media outlet to be banned ahead of tomorrow’s screening of a documentary about Whyte’s buy-out of Sir David Murray’s majority shareholding. Meanwhile, former finance director Donald McIntrye has also had a further £300,000 of club cash frozen in court. But Whyte has expressed his shock at Greig’s resignation and insisted he had a good relationship with the man voted by fans as the Greatest Ever Ranger. And the Motherwell-born businessman, who will meet with the Rangers Supporters Trust today, also vowed to meet all the challenges currently facing Rangers head-on in the coming months. He said: “I feel as if I am in the eye of a storm at the moment, but will fight through it because I know it will all be worthwhile in the end. “Stories that I wanted rid of John Greig are just nonsense. We always got on well together and I spoke to him very recently. He did not express any problems or mention anything untoward to me. His resignation took me by absolute surprise. “I also spoke with John McClelland at the weekend and again there was no indication that he was planning to resign. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised about anything in football anymore but the timing of all this is odd.” Whyte added: “I could have seen this week far enough, but I know everything will be worthwhile in the end.” http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/i-didn-t-drive-john-greig-out-1.1130117
  6. ST JOHNSTONE could turn to David Weir as a potential replacement should Derek McInnes move to Bristol City in the next few days. The Perth club gave McInnes permission to travel down to the West Country and interview for the position on Tuesday and were last night waiting for news on their managerâ??s future. A decision from the English club, who also spoke to Mark Robins, is now thought to be imminent, and Herald Sport understands St Johnstone would be interested in talking to Weir, the Rangers captain, if McInnes leaves the club after four years in charge. Any move to give the 41-year-old centre-half his first managerial role would hardly be straightforward. Weir is contracted to Rangers for the rest of this season, although he has played just 28 minutes of competitive action so far. He would have to decide if he wanted to take the step as a player-manager and also whether the move would suit his family circumstances. Weirâ??s wife and young family remain in Lancashire. Just as Owen Coyle played a role in the appointment of McInnes, the former Rangers midfielder has already passed on his own ideas to Geoff Brown, the St Johnstone chairman, about who might be a suitable successor. Others linked with the post include Paul Sheerin, the former St Johnstone player who is now in charge of Arbroath, Livingston manager Gary Bollan, and Jim Jefferies, who began this season as manager of Hearts. The decision from Bristol City was delayed last night by the complex ownership structure at the club and their npower Championship game with Crystal Palace. They went into it at the bottom of the table, without a victory in nine league and cup games. â??At Bristol there seems to be a board of executive directors and an owner, and the owner overrides the executive directors, so that comes into play,â? Brown said yesterday. â??Derek said he got on okay but nobody indicated whether heâ??s favourite or second favourite. â??If Derek does move on we would be looking for someone to come on board who would keep the confidence of the players going because he would inherit a good squad which is capable of keeping us free of relegation.â? That group includes Liam Craig, one of the players who has grown accustomed to rumours surrounding their manager. â??This isnâ??t the first time thereâ??s been speculation about the manager and weâ??ve got an experienced team that can deal with it,â? he said. â??If you look at the likes of Callum Davidson, Alan Maybury, Jody Morris and David McCracken, these are boys whoâ??ve been in the game a long time. â??Now weâ??re concentrating on Dundee United at the weekend. I donâ??t think that weâ??ve beaten them since we came back up, and thatâ??s something we want to put right. Weâ??ve made a great start to the season and we want to continue it. â??A total of 18 points is better than we could have hoped for after our first three games. Itâ??s a really good start, but thatâ??s all it is. It will mean nothing if we donâ??t kick on.â? Craig was one of McInnesâ?? earliest captures, initially arriving on loan from Falkirk, before becoming a regular in the team that won promotion to the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and then established itself there under McInnes. â??Itâ??s scary to think that itâ??s four years,â? he added. â??Derek has been excellent for me. You knew right away that him and Tony Docherty [his assistant] would be a great management team. He has brought the boys in that he wanted and heâ??s been great for my career. â??Itâ??s been a successful time. Weâ??ve won the first division and been to a few semi-finals. The only disappointment is we havenâ??t got to a cup final yet. If he remains here weâ??ll look to put that right. But the Championship is a massive league and if he gets the opportunity it would be hard for him to turn down. Iâ??d be surprised if he did. â??There have been a lot of Scottish managers doing well down there and thereâ??s no reason why he canâ??t do the same. For the moment Derek is still our manager and hopefully we can keep him. But if he goes no-one will begrudge him his move and weâ??ll wish him all the best.â? http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/spl/rangers/st-johnstone-look-to-weir-as-mcinnes-verdict-looms-1.1129978

  9. CRAIG WHYTE last night expressed his "shock and surprise" at Rangers legend John Greig quitting the club and insisted he would always be welcome at Ibrox. And as BBC Scotland prepare to air a programme described by the club as “a prejudiced muck-raking exercise“ on the millionaire businessman's controversial take-over of the SPL Champions Whyte rejected private and public claims being made against him as "complete rubbish". Rangers last night imposed a ban on the TV company but ahead of the Friendly with Liverpool, Whyte pledged to battle on amidst almost constant upheaval declaring: "I feel as if I am in the eye of a storm at the moment but will fight through it because I know it will all be worthwhile in the end. "Stories that I wanted rid of John Greig are just nonsense. We always got on well together and I spoke to him very recently. He did not express any problems or mention anything untoward to me. His resignation took me by absolute surprise. "He is and always has been a great Rangers man and nothing will ever take away what he has achieved for this club. He has always been a terrific figurehead for us and it is disappointing to see him go at this time. ì Stories that I wanted rid of John Greig are just nonsense. We always got on well together and I spoke to him very recently î Rangers owner Craig Whyte "I very much hope he stays in touch with us and comes to games. He is the greatest ever Ranger and will always be welcome at Ibrox. "I also spoke with John McClelland at the weekend and again there was no indication that he was planning to resign. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised about anything in football anymore but the timing of all this is odd." In an exclusive interview Whyte admitted that despite all the issues surrounding his take-over last May he still had "no regrets" about becoming the owner of Rangers and was confident the club would emerge stronger than ever before. In the past six months since taking control the venture capitalist has seen eight former Board members depart, had club assets frozen, denied claims Rangers are facing insolvency, fought legal battles and continued to dispute a multi-million pound claim by HMRC which could cost anything in the region of £40m. Tomorrow a BBC documentary will investigate the buy-out deal with Sir David Murray and is thought to be critical of Whyte. But he remains defiant adding: "I could have seen this week far enough but I know everything will be worthwhile in the end. "Taking control of Rangers was always going to be a big job and we still have a lot of things to sort out but I can assure the supporters that it will all be done." Whyte will hold talks with the Rangers Supporters Trust today to try and ease their fears over the departure of the much respected Greig and give them an insight into the future direction of the club. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/278271/Craig-Whyte-says-John-Greig-welcome-but-Rangers-ban-BBC
  10. THE former finance director of Rangers spoke of his “concern” for the club yesterday, after winning a court order to freeze £300,000 of its assets. The ruling takes to more than £3 million the amount which has been ringfenced as security to cover claims against Rangers by the taxman and two members of the Ibrox board who have left since a takeover by Craig Whyte earlier this year. Rangers – who yesterday withdrew “all co-operation” with the BBC over what it claims is a “negative attitude” towards the club – did not even turn up at the Court of Session in Edinburgh to contest Donald McIntyre’s application for an arrestment order. It was granted by Lord Hodge, the same judge who last month had frozen £480,000 at the request of Martin Bain, the former chief executive, and had said there was a “real and substantial risk” of insolvency if HM Revenue and Customs won a case against the Scottish champions. As he left court, McIntyre, 52, said: “I think Lord Hodge’s decision speaks volumes, as does the fact that Rangers did not turn up to defend the case. I am sad at the current circumstances at the club, and I am concerned for the club.” He declined to elaborate on his “concern”. Only 24 hours earlier, club legend John Greig and former chairman John McClelland had stepped down as non-executive directors, citing exclusion from club affairs following the takeover. Whyte paid a nominal £1 to succeed Sir David Murray as owner in May, and Bain and McIntyre were suspended. Both have subsequently resigned – McIntyre only last week – having deemed their contracts to have been repudiated, and have raised actions against Rangers. Bain is suing for £1.3 million, and McIntyre is claiming £300,000. HMRC has two cases against Rangers. One involves £4.2 million, and an arrestment for £2.3 million has been allowed in it. The second totals £49 million, and was the claim to which Lord Hodge attributed a real and substantial risk of insolvency, were it to go against Rangers. In yesterday’s hearing, Stuart Buchanan, for McIntyre, said Rangers had been given formal notice of the hearing but the club had indicated they would not be appearing. McIntyre’s claim was mainly for breach of contract and the loss of his £120,000-a-year post, but he also sought compensation for damage to his reputation because of the suspension. “His position is that there is not and never has been any basis for the suspension. Any assertions made against him are completely unfounded, from his perspective. It is a matter that has given great anxiety to him,” said Mr Buchanan. “Mr Whyte spoke personally to Mr McIntyre back in May to say the matter in relation to his employment would be resolved quickly. We have no knowledge of anything happening at all.” McIntyre had provided the club with the names of seven people he believed could help in any inquiry into his conduct. They included former owner Murray, Greig and McClelland. He understood that none of the seven had been approached. “This is a professional man, a chartered accountant suspended from his position as finance director, who has made every effort to co-operate with Mr Whyte and every effort has been rebuffed. He has been kept hanging for five months for some sort of progress to be made to clear his name, but that has never happened,” added Mr Buchanan. “Effectively, he was kept on a hook, waiting for something to happen. He repeatedly made enquiries about progress in relation to any investigation and disciplinarly matters... there has been no response at all. It has been reported that he had been suspended, that there was no way back for him and that he was ‘finished at Gers’, but it has all been done at a distance through the press.” Lord Hodge said the circumstances of McIntyre’s application for an arrestment order were broadly similar to those put forward by Bain, and the judge was satisfied that another order should be granted. “I consider the sum of £300,000 to be not unreasonable,” added Lord Hodge. http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/european/concern_for_rangers_as_mcintyre_pushes_club_s_frozen_assets_to_3m_1_1917537
  11. FURIOUS Rangers supremo Craig Whyte banned the BBC from the club after reaching the end of his tether with the telly corporation, club insiders revealed last night. The drastic step has left the Beeb facing a TV and radio blackout as its presenters — including star Chick Young — will be kept out of Ibrox AND the Gers' training ground Murray Park. Last night a source said owner Whyte had been left fuming over what he claims is the broadcaster's "agenda" against the club. But the Rangers owner was finally tipped over the edge because of a "muckraking" documentary — set to be shown tomorrow night — about him and the club's cash troubles. Fury ... Craig Whyte Fury ... Craig Whyte The source said: "Craig Whyte is sick of the systematic negative attitude the BBC has taken towards Rangers. "It has been one thing after another this season and a line has to be drawn. "This decision has not been taken lightly, but Rangers feel as though the BBC has an agenda against them." The club is now looking at their BBC contracts in the hope they can enforce the complete blackout. That would mean no live radio coverage of the Gers' home games and no highlights packages for TV shows. It could see Rangers hit by financial penalties for failing to meet agreed television and radio obligations. But the source said: "The situation has got that far I do not think they will bother. It's something they'll deal with when it and if it comes up." The bust-up is the second time the BBC has been snubbed by Ibrox — after it was forced to apologise to manager Ally McCoist earlier this season. McCoist was left furious when a clip on TV showed him appearing to smirk when he was asked about the behaviour of Old Firm fans. The broadcaster later said sorry for an "inappropriate edit". But relations between the two sides have collapsed again over the documentary, which is understood to focus on the club's cash troubles as well as Whyte's business affairs. The source added: "Whyte has ALWAYS refused to discuss his personal or business dealings. "He did tell the BBC he would co-operate on how Rangers have got into the state they are in. The BBC were not happy with that. Some of the questions they wanted to ask had nothing to do with Rangers or the club's situation. It appeared quite clearly the programme was just going to be a stitch-up. "The club has been appalled at some of the negative reporting it and its fans has received from the BBC." Last night a BBC spokesman hit back at the "claim of underlying bias", saying: "We completely refute this allegation in the strongest terms. "All of our reporting of matters pertinent to the running of Rangers FC reflects the high standard expected of the BBC. The club has also made specific criticisms of a documentary scheduled for transmission. "We've assured them that rigorous editorial standards will be applied and nothing will be broadcast that is not both accurate and in the public interest." Last night Ted Brocklebank, former head of news at Grampian TV and ex-Scottish Tory culture spokesman, said of the ban: "Ultimately the club will be the loser. I think Rangers should look at this very carefully." Read more: http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/news/3880525/Rangers-declare-war-on-the-BBC.html#ixzz1bDCMVzM6
  12. Farce,I can't really think of anything else to say about that!!!!,other than it's now guilty until proven innocent???
  13. Craig Whyte was left stunned by John Greig’s departure from the Ibrox board on Monday — and could be left reeling by another court verdict by close of business on Tuesday. Whyte wasn’t even given the chance to talk the Greatest Ever Ranger out of leaving the club, Sportsmail has been told. The Rangers owner insists he was completely unaware that Greig and former chairman John McClelland were planning their double resignation as non-executive directors. And, despite a letter of resignation being left for Whyte at Ibrox, the globe-trotting owner only heard the news when an official statement from McClelland and Greig was released to the media on Monday morning. The loss of former European Cup Winners’ Cup-winning captain Greig, in particular, is a hammer blow to a regime in short supply of figures with strong Rangers links. John Macmillan, secretary of the Rangers Supporters Association, said: ‘It’s all new faces in there now. ‘John may not have had a great influence in the overall decision-making at the club, and maybe didn’t have over the years, but there is no doubt he had some sort of say and he was always a link to the fans. ‘You could go to John and he would listen to you. I’m not saying he would necessarily solve the problem for you, but he would always try his best to do what he felt was right for the fans and the club.’ An official statement released on behalf of the pair said they had resigned because ‘since the change of ownership they have been excluded from participating in corporate governance at the club’. Rangers insiders insist that, while Greig has never been hugely involved in board matters, despite being made a director in 2003, McClelland had regular discussions with Whyte. The pair talked as recently as Saturday — but McClelland raised no issues of concern with the man who overcame internal opposition to buy out Sir David Murray’s controlling interest. The double resignation comes at a bad time for Whyte, who faces seeing another £300,000 of club assets frozen today. Former finance director Donald McIntyre is back at the Court of Session, arguing Rangers are under threat of insolvency as a result of outstanding tax cases. Lord Hodge, having already ring-fenced £480,000 in a similar case involving former chief executive Martin Bain, could tie up even more cash by finding in McIntyre’s favour. Eight board members have now departed since Whyte assumed control on May 6. Donald Muir and Mike McGill, closely associated with Lloyds Banking Group, left on the same day. Former chairman Alastair Johnston and Paul Murray, who launched a rival takeover bid, were removed later that month and Bain and McIntyre both resigned from the board after being suspended. Both have launched legal action against the club. The board now comprises of chairman Whyte, plus Dave King, chief operations officer Ali Russell, director of football Gordon Smith and non-executive director Phil Betts. 18. SICK yobs were spotted on camera daubing pro-IRA graffiti across a Rangers-themed boozer in green paint, it was revealed last night. The hooded louts used a ROLLER to plaster the front of the Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium, with a reference to the republican terror group. Disgusted owner Robert Marshall â?? who captured the hooligans in the act on CCTV â?? yesterday called in the police in a bid to catch the culprits. He said: "I'm not interested in the politics. I'm just a football fan and I think it's disgusting that, in this day and age, people are still doing these things. "These guys have written CIRA in green lettering which is about 6ft high. I've got them on CCTV using a roller to do it. "It took them a couple of minutes. They've got their hoods up, but I reckon they could be identified. "I will be keeping a log from now on of anything else that happens." The Glasgow pub was previously known as the Stadium Bar. Last night Strathclyde Police said they were dealing with an incident at the boozer. 24. Sion will be "re-integrated" into Celtic's group if CAS rules in favour of Swiss side. UEFA have urged FC Sion to recognise the authority of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in their dispute over the Swiss club's Europa League ejection, stating that they will allow them to rejoin the competition if the ruling is in their favour. The European governing body threw Sion out of the competition and reinstated Celtic in their place after disciplining the Swiss club for fielding players deemed ineligible. Sion lost an appeal but took their case through the Swiss courts and obtained judgements in their favour. UEFA refused to recognise the court orders, stating that sporting competition rules were not subject to Swiss law and could only be overturned by CAS. Reports in Switzerland suggested that the court order won by Sion was enforceable by Monday, prompting UEFA to issue a statement confirming that CAS was the body with the relevant authority to act, and that it had asked for a speedy resolution. The statement read: "In a decision transmitted yesterday to the parties, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne confirmed its competence to decide on the merits of the UEFA vs. FC Sion case, dismissed the demand of FC Sion to stay the proceedings, confirmed the nomination of the arbitrator originally chosen by FC Sion, stating twice in its decision the "clear abuse of CAS procedures" by FC Sion. "In order to solve this case quickly and in the best interests of the competition and all its participants, UEFA filed a request for an accelerated procedure to CAS on 26 September. The Swiss civil courts have already recognised the competence of CAS to decide on the merits and so FC Sion's repeated attempts to obstruct the CAS proceedings is clearly unjustified and shows bad faith." The governing body said that Sion's repeated use of the Swiss courts was not only irrelevant to the existing procedure for such disputes but also had an unsettling effect for the other clubs in Group I: Celtic, Udinese, Rennes and Atletico Madrid. However, UEFA did state that Sion would be allowed back into the group if they won a decision from CAS. An accelerated procedure â?? as proposed by UEFA â?? would allow FC Sion to be reintegrated to the group, provided it wins on the merits. The statement continued: "This would be accepted by all the other clubs since they have agreed to the same conditions. Here we note that equality of treatment is a basic principle of sporting fairness and is also usually accepted in the courts. UEFA fails to understand why FC Sion is "abusing procedures" to delay a decision on the merits." UEFA did not explain how the return of SIon would be engineered but it seems likely that creating a five team group would be a workable solution, though it would create more games for each participant in Group I. The governing body also stressed that Sion's current approach of pursuing the matter through the Swiss courts was delaying any CAS ruling and would have a further detrimental effect on the competition. http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/celtic/274868-uefa-accept-possibility-of-sion-return-in-europa-league/

SuperHooper Today, 1:21 PM Post #503 Member Avatar First name on the team-sheet Group: Members Favourite all-time player Tommy Burns, Larsson, Lubo, Lambert I hate it, I really really hate it, but it's over for Lennon. I wanted it to work - apparently more than most of the players at the club did - but all the wanting in the world doesn't change the fact that this is not working. In fact, it's getting worse. Lambert? Wouldn't touch the job with a 40ft barge pole if I was him (even if we could afford him, which we probably cant) O'Niell? Why risk ruining your legacy - and could he really make a difference with no money?? I don't know where we go next, I just don't know anymore. shogun rua Today, 1:21 PM Post #517 Member Avatar Occasional Substitute Group: Members Favourite all-time player Henrik Larsson Sorry Lenny if you don't get sacked you need to resign this is a shambles the players aren't playing for him. mick405 Today, 1:22 PM Post #520 Member Avatar ...don't hate nothing at all except hatred... He is not good enough and neither are his players! He gets the plaudits when they do well do he needs the stick when it is this disastrous! Too many people hung up on who Lennon is nit if he's any good, sorry second season and is going backwards. Not good enough fit Celtic! This is shameful. This is our club and we are going backwards rapidly! ronan cfc Today, 1:23 PM Post #550 Member Avatar Getting noticed in the reserves Group: Members Favourite all-time player larsson game.set.match . we had some great moments but the thunder is well and truly gone.replaced by a burst cloud full of shampooe. Kayal.been shampooe all season. Ki. good passer but a complete coward. Stokes, if that was samaras we would have pitch forks out. Majstorovic. can lead sweden to a win against the dutch yet is utter bollocks for us.eff right off. Mulgrew, love that your a tim but you should never be a first choice player? captain? yer having a laugh. welcome2paradise Today, 1:23 PM Post #556 Member Avatar Pop pop! Group: Snr. Member HT 3-0. Can hardly believe what I'm seeing. I know our defence is poor but this has been horrific. Thought we actually started ok with Forrest and Cha getting some joy down the right and Ki playing some decent passes. However as the half wore on we have regressed to an unbelievable degree. Midfield disappeared completely and the defence are all over the place. All 3 goals were avoidable, none more so than the last. When it went to 1-0 we have never looked like getting back into it. I would take off Hooper as he has clearly not recovered from the early knock. Also take off Kayal before he gets sent off. Neil Lennon has 45 minutes to save his Celtic career. But these players should be taking a long hard look at themselves right now - spineless, gutless and shameful 45mins.
