  1. Every time I click on 26th of a foot thread, http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?29816-ici-en-Arles-le-plus-grand-club-de-football-dans-le-monde-..........., I get internal error!!!,anybody else getting the same?.
  2. TBH,I don't think anyone knows for sure,GMS on FF broke the news,I think, regarding the said article. The article was removed I believe, but I've not seen anything official. Of course I could have missed something!!!!
  3. Selfish barsteward:grin:
  4. Are you not contradicting yourself here?. At the end of the day nothing is certain until he signs for us or another team,it's only a discussion.
  5. I think he has proved a lot of people wrong with his performances since signing,I seem to remember WS saying he had to stop him working so hard in the gym,he isn't the most gracefull player I've ever seen, but credit where its due he is a solid player when playing regularly,I'd still like to see Ally bring in a couple of CB's but Broadfoot deserves a chance IMO.
  6. You're spot on mate, but money does talk,if he is ambitous then coming to Rangers would be a better option for him

    Bosmans

http://www.transfermarkt.de/en/transfers/wettbewerbe-km/transfers.html There are a few on that list who could do a job for us
  8. I honestly don't think he would turn down double money for CL football,if true of course
  9. Just saying feck him,no particular reason. You would think Ally would know a striker,is he worth haggling over??,maybe we should just move on if he wants more cash than what is on offer from Rangers.
  10. True Rangers Man
  11. Feck him then,I'm sure if some other team is offering him double what Rangers are offering then he won't sign for us
  12. Lifted from FF,posted bt Jimmy Bongo??? Guys, on Friday I posted details on the Hemed move through my contact who is close to the UK based agent handling this, Max Melzer I have just had an update and the player is stalling over wage demands A Spanish team has offered him £15,000 a week and Rangers offer comes to £10,000 a week in total with some add ons This is not a certainty to happen - talks ongoing today but there will need to be movement on either side. Rangers stance I'm told is they think it's a very good offer to a player untried out of Israel with just one cap, given that his team-mate last year (Kayal) came to the SPL for £7000 a week. It's not dead yet, but looks like something will have to give.
  13. FIT-AGAIN Ger Kirk Broadfoot has urged new boss Ally McCoist to give him the chance to become central to his Ibrox revolution. The Scotland cap, who missed the title run-in with an ankle injury and then a fractured foot, has started his pre-season four weeks early in a bid to get the new season up and running from the first whistle. McCoist has made a central defender his summer priority, as the futures of captain Davie Weir and Madjid Bougherra still have to be ironed out, and that is a position that is no stranger to Broadfoot. He played there at St Mirren and believes thatââ?¬â?¢s his strongest position and would love to get the chance to fill that void with the Scottish champions. Broadfoot said: ââ?¬Å?Centre half has always been my main position. ââ?¬Å?It is the position I prefer to play. ââ?¬Å?It was only when I came to Rangers that I was moved out to right back. ââ?¬Å?Donââ?¬â?¢t get me wrong ââ?¬â?? I would play anywhere for Rangers, but if I had a choice I would want to play at centre-half. ââ?¬Å?I know Walter Smith put me out to full back so I could learn the position and get more experience. ââ?¬Å?I feel I have done that and I am now a better player because of that, but I see myself in the long-run being a centre half. ââ?¬Å?I feel that is my more natural position, but at the end of the day it will be up to the gaffer. ââ?¬Å?I have the utmost respect for the manager and whatever he decides I will stick by him. ââ?¬Å?He knows that wherever I am asked to play for Rangers, I will go out and give 100 per cent.ââ?¬Â Broadfoot is in no doubt that McCoist will step up and follow in the success-filled footsteps of Smith. He was a big part of Smithââ?¬â?¢s success and Broadfoot is confident the SPL champions will remain on the trophy trail under him. ââ?¬Å?I am in no doubt that the manager will do well,ââ?¬Â he added. ââ?¬Å?He is a born winner and that shines through in everything he does. ââ?¬Å?You see how competitive he is, even in training. ââ?¬Å?He never likes to lose at anything and there is no doubt he will have his team tuned in a similar way. ââ?¬Å?The manager also knows the game inside out. He has played at the top level and he has also worked under a top manager in Walter Smith, so all that experience will also stand him in good stead. ââ?¬Å?He is also a clever and intelligent guy and he will also know what he wants and what he needs to bring future success to Rangers.ââ?¬Â McCoist still has to delve into the transfer market, has lost last termââ?¬â?¢s loan quartet of El Hadji Diouf, Ricky Foster, Vladimir Weiss and Kyle Bartley and decisions still have to be taken on David Healyââ?¬â?¢s future and also Weirââ?¬â?¢s. Broadfoot knows that last seasonââ?¬â?¢s Co-op Insurance Cup and SPL winners need to bolster their squad as Celtic will come back stronger ââ?¬â?? looking to steal their crown. The versatile defender said: ââ?¬Å?There is no doubt the manager needs the financial backing to add to his squad. ââ?¬Å?The new owner has said that will happen and I am sure it will. ââ?¬Å?We definitely need to add a few new faces to our squad. ââ?¬Å?We were a bit short last season and also a couple of new faces also helps to give the whole place a lift.ââ?¬Â The former St Mirren star also canââ?¬â?¢t wait to get started under McCoist, having been forced to write off the business end of last season. Broadfoot said: ââ?¬Å?It was just a nightmare last season. ââ?¬Å?I hurt my ankle back in September and then played on with it until December when I eventually had to go in for an operation. ââ?¬Å?Then everything was fine, I did all my rehabilitation and I ended up fracturing my foot. ââ?¬Å?It was really frustrating ââ?¬â?? you want to play in every game and I missed a lot of football. ââ?¬Å?But hopefully I am now over all my injury problems and I can get an injury-free run. ââ?¬Å?I have been in the gym for the last four weeks just doing strengthening work and making sure that when I do go back for pre-season I am ready to go for the new campaign.ââ?¬Â Read more: http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/252817/Kirk-Broadfoot-claims-he-can-fill-Rangers-defensive-gapKirk-Broadfoot-claims-he-can-fill-Rangers-defensive-gap#ixzz1PKiwbJNh

  16. TOMER HEMED will jet into Glasgow in the next 24 hours to seal his dream move to Rangers. The Israeli striker is poised to sign a three-year deal at Ibrox after Gers boss Ally McCoist met with his representatives at Murray Park yesterday. A further round of talks are scheduled for later today with Hemed expected in Scotland for a medical on Thursday. If Hemed passes he will become a Rangers player by the end of the week - and the first signing of the McCoist era. The Gers gaffer told SunSport last night: "It's close. We met and spoke with his representatives today. The new owner was present and we're now ready to take it further. "We're looking to have something done by the end of the week." Hemed, 24, will arrive on a Bosman after his 17 goals helped Maccabi Haifa to the Israeli title. McCoist looks to have pulled off a major coup with Hemed snubbing offers from Italy, Spain and Belgium to join the SPL champions. And SunSport can reveal the hitman could be joined by out-of-contract Crystal Palace star Neil Danns within days. McCoist has confirmed Rangers director of football administration Andrew Dickson contacted the midfielder's agent Derek Green yesterday. Danns is also being chased by Hull, Leicester and Celtic, but McCoist hopes the lure of Champions League football will see him opt for Gers. He confirmed: "As regards Neil, Andrew has spoken to his representative and we're keen, very keen. "That's one I am pursuing further as well. He's a player we are keen on." Former Gers defenders Carlos Cuellar and Danny Wilson are two more McCoist is keen on as he bids to bolster his defence with the Ibrox futures of both Madjid Bougherra and Davie Weir in doubt. Bougherra is attracting interest from the Premier League while Weir, at 41, has yet to be offered a new deal. McCoist would love to re-sign Cuellar - who Gers sold to Aston Villa for £8million three years ago - but the issue is clouded as Villa are still managerless. McCoist could turn to Scotland and former Gers youngster Wilson, although Bolton are also keen on a season-long loan for him. McCoist said: "The situation at Aston Villa makes it difficult with regards to Carlos. "Danny Wilson is a player we'd obviously consider but I haven't spoken to any agents or, more importantly, Liverpool." Another player on Rangers' radar is Arsenal's Kyle Bartley. He shone on loan at Ibrox this year before a knee injury and would like to return. Coisty added: "Kyle is someone I am trying to get a hold of. "Arsenal are in no rush to make a decision but we can't afford to wait and wait with our season starting earlier. "We need to be ready to go." SunSport can also reveal El Hadji Diouf WON'T be returning, while Getafe midfielder Derek Boateng is out of Gers' price range.

  18. Does anybody follow Speirs on twitter?,or maybe Jackson himself?
  19. Lifted from FF I understand that Keith Jackson has been banned from Ibrox. The Daily Record has been asked to publish a full apology for the 'Coisty Cash Crisis' story which appeared today. The new regime is sending out a message that untrue stories about the club will no longer be tolerated. Watch this space.
  20. Tomer Hemed's agents flew into Glasgow today to seal the Maccabi Haifa striker's move to Rangers. The 24-year-old Israeli has snubbed offers from Italy, Spain and Belgium and now looks set to become Ally McCoist’s first summer signing after his representatives held contract talks over a Bosman free transfer at Murray Park with the new manager, and chairman Craig Whyte. Hemed will be offered a three-year deal at around Ã?£8,000-per-week after McCoist decided to make a firm move off the back of several scouting missions from backroom team members John Brown and Ian Durrant and a host of background checks. The six-foot-plus hitman – who bagged 17 goals last season as Haifa won the title and made his full international debut this month – is one of half a dozen new faces McCoist wants to land. The manager held talks with Whyte today on what his summer signing budget will be and now hopes to forge ahead and boost his squad for the mission to land four-in-a-row with the return to pre-season training just 13 days away. Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns, who has also been linked with Celtic, Hull and Cardiff, remains on the list, as does former stopper Carlos Cuellar, although the managerial situation at Aston Villa is making it difficult to establish whether the Spaniard will be allowed to leave or not. Arsenal defender Kyle Bartley is another key target with the player keen to return on a one-year loan if an agreement can be struck. Danns’ agent, Derek Green, admits the possibility of Champions League football could sway a decision Rangers way should they follow up an initial approach through a third party with a concrete offer. He said: “You only have one career and you want to maximise that. Rangers are playing Cham- pions League football next season and that doesn’t come along every day. If that comes along then of course he is going to take it.” However, one player Rangers look certain to miss out on is David Vaughan. The Welshman had been targeted and will quit Blackpool – but he wants to stay in the Premier League. Gers are also keeping a close eye on Ã?£10m-rated Charlie Adam’s proposed move to Liverpool. They are due 10% of any fee after a clause was inserted into the deal that took him south. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/editor-s-picks/tomer-hemed-agent-jets-in-for-gers-talk-1.1106737

  23. Israeli striker Tomer Hemed is ready to fly to Glasgow later this week to become Ally McCoist's first signing for Rangers. Sportsmail understands the Maccabi Haifa player has turned down an offer to move to Spain - and has made Govan his preferred choice following talks over the past three days involving the new Ibrox boss and the player's agents. The 24-year-old has told his employers he doesn't want to sign a new contract to stay in Israel - leaving him within his rights to move immediately to the SPL on a Bosman free transfer. Now his signature could be wrapped up before the end of the week assuming there are no problems with a medical and a three-year offer liable to be worth around £7,000 per-week. If the deal is concluded as expected, then Hemed - a former team-mate of Celtic midfielder Beram Kayal - will become the fifth striker at Rangers, alongside Nikica Jelavic, Steven Naismith, Kyle Lafferty and James Beattie. However, former England cap Beattie, who has a year left on the deal he signed upon arrival from Stoke City, looks surplus to requirements and could be loaned out again after a similar arrangement with Blackpool between January and May. Meanwhile, McCoist has a meeting with owner Craig Whyte scheduled for Tuesday to discuss the budget for signings and new contracts. Whyte sent a document to Rangers shareholders last week promising to supply investment at a level of around £5million per season for five years - a pledge he had also made via sources while Sir David Murray was still in power. St Mirren defender Darren McGregor is the latest name linked with Ibrox, the former Cowdenbeath player having impressed SPL observers in his first season. He has been offered a new contract by Paisley boss Danny Lennon but could be available at around £200,000.
  24. NEIL DANNS will pick Rangers ahead of Celtic if he gets the choice. Both sides of the Old Firm are eyeing the out-of-contract Crystal Palace midfielder. SunSport revealed on Saturday how Gers boss Ally McCoist wants to sign the 28-year-old former Birmingham City ace. Celtic gaffer Neil Lennon has also been keeping tabs on the player. But Danns's agent Derek Green admits the lure of Champions League football with Rangers next season would be too hard to resist if it the clubs do battle for his signature. Green, who has still to receive official contact from Rangers, said: "You only have one career and you want to maximise that. "Rangers are playing Champions League football next season and that doesn't come along every day. "If that comes along then of course he is going to take it." Leicester, are also keen on Danns who returns from holiday this week. But Green insists the player is in no rush to sign for anyone. Green said: "Even though no one's been in touch you'd hold off because if the speculation is true then there could be Champions League football next year. When you come from somewhere like Crystal Palace and you could get the chance to play Champions League football you wouldn't rush into signing for someone else. "Until you get that call either way then you have to leave your options open. "We have got until August 31 to decide where he wants to be. "Waiting another two weeks or so isn't going to kill him. "The ball is in his court and he has earned the right to be in this position. "He is a fantastic person first and foremost and then he is a footballer - it is not often we get that. He is a smashing lad and deserves what he gets." Read more: http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/3635312/Danns-eyes-up-Gers-switch.html#ixzz1PEdcgE22
  25. RANGERS stand to rake in £1.3million as Charlie Adam's Anfield dream moved a step closer to reality last night. SunSport can reveal the Scotland star is finally poised to become a Liverpool player by the end of the week. Adam was distraught when Blackpool knocked back a bid of £10m from Liverpool in January. But Kop boss Kenny Dalglish never dropped his interest and with the Anfield side confident they can get their man for £9m now, talks will gather pace in the next 48 hours now Adam is back from holiday. Former Gers ace Adam has just 12 months left on his contract which is why Liverpool are supremely confident that a £9m bid will seal the deal. That would net Ibrox boss Ally McCoist a handsome windfall. Rangers included a sell-on clause when Adam joined Blackpool. The midfielder, though, had feared he would be priced out of the move because so too many parties will receive a piece of his transfer fee. Blackpool's Latvian co-owner Valeri Belokon is entitled to a massive 30 per cent after personally financing Adam's £500,000 move from Gers two years ago. The SPL champions are also due 15 per cent while Adam will pocket 10 per cent. Seasiders boss Ian Holloway will also receive a small portion after recruiting the 25 year-old. Manchester United and Spurs have also been linked with moves for Adam, but it seems the midfielder is destined to link up with Steven Gerrard and £20m new boy Jordan Henderson in the heart of the Liverpool midfield next season.
