  1. Rangers said they were studying CCTV footage in a bid to catch those responsible. And club bosses said that sectarian behaviour “wouldn’t be tolerated”. A spokesperson said: “We are studying security camera footage to see if those responsible might be identified. “Sectarian behaviour, in whichever form it takes, must never be tolerated.” And anti-bigotry campaigners have slammed the slur – branding it “moronic behaviour”. Nil by Mouth’s Dave Scott said: “This is pathetic, moronic behaviour which only antagonises people days before a cup final”. And cops confirmed that they were investigating the graffiti. A spokesperson for the force said: “We received a report of vandalism to the front gate around 1am this morning. “Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 0298 of Saturday, 7 December, 2019.” Rangers have been contacted by the Scottish Sun for comment. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/5039568/rangers-training-centre-targeted-graffiti-old-firm/amp/?utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=scottishsuntwitter&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1575732112

  9. Aberdeen say they are "aware and investigating" claims that Rangers captain James Tavernier was struck by a pie at Pittodrie on Wednesday. However, Police Scotland said later that the English full-back was hit by "part of a bread roll" thrown from the stands while taking a throw-in. Tavernier carried on playing after the incident and the police confirmed that no complaints had been made. Aberdeen hit back from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 Scottish Premiership draw. In April, Motherwell banned a supporter "indefinitely" for throwing an object at Tavernier. Items including a lighter, pie and coin all landed close to the Ibrox captain during Rangers' 3-0 victory at Fir Park. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/50676011

  12. I'd guess he will play, the old saying about playing through the pain barrier is true, a pain killing injection is very common. If Barisic can't play then Halliday would be a far better option than Flannagan, at least Halliday will get forward and can cross a decent ball with his left peg. Still think Barisic will make it though.
