And KIllie got a draw too, all good:)

I was keeping an eye on that but didn't want to talk about till it was done. I really think we may be better than them. I think we're proving to be better defensively for one thing.

Last week the sheep who have to be rated as better than Killie managed 4 shots with not a single shot on target. Today Killie got in 6 shots with 2 on target.

We have yet to concede a league goal. They have yet to register a clean sheet. It's a good start but obviously we need to keep this up and hope for them to slip up again.

This post is exactly that which you bemoan in the same post JFK ?

track and trace is very far from perfect in Scotland.  In my small wee village one pub is taking details of people (and as Gonzo says some of the details provided are illegible) and another isn’t taking details at all.

I don't know how they do it, what i'm saying is that on the NHS Scotland and Scottish government websites it's stated they do track and trace. And in fact something like asking people in pubs for their name and details never even occurred to me.

I was thinking along the lines of when they discover an outbreak centred on say pubs they would then acquire phone details of anybody who was pinging the relevant tower at that time and mass text message them. That's what happens in Oklahoma when there's dangerous weather bearing down on you and it doesn't require an app. But as I said, I don't know how they do it, i'm simply confident that they do it.

In addition to that my thoughts were posting on social networking sites like Facbook etc targeting the affected area. Were you in any of these places at this time? Who was with you? And do you know anyone else who was?

It's obvious they must have some sort of system, it would be crazy if they didn't. And i'm guessing they quickly tracked down hundreds or even thousands in Aberdeen since last I heard a couple of days or so ago they had identified over 100 testing positive.

SG confirms he is still looking for an addition in "the engine room" and that'll be our business completed.

As for Alfredo, can see a compromise of circa £18M with add-ons and he will move to Lille and will go with my thanks and well wishes for his future career.

I'm glad he's confirmed it. We're now well covered everywhere else. Just one more could be the key to making them formidable. As for Alfie I would be perhaps not actually happy with £18 million but prepared to accept it in the circumstances. It's good business.

I'm just getting a bit antsy about it and want it over with and the money in the bank. For that reason may be willing to accept 16.25 if it really is on offer. That too would still be good business. Enough to cover our squad additions with a bit left over.

And that bit alone would be a significant sum to most teams in this league.

Taking the 16.5m would give the mhanks an open book for derision IMO.

I think there's going to be derision no matter what we get. If it's lower than 20 million there will be derision if it's 20 or more it will be spun into lies or the 20 million is part of his contract for the buying club.

Outside the yahoos the sheep are proclaiming Cosgrove is as good as Morelos and if he's only worth 2 million that's all we will/should get for Morelos. Ludicrous obviously but whatever we get it wont be lauded.

According to various sources like the Glasgow Times, we`ve knocked back a 16.25m bid from Lille for Alfredo. We seemingly want 20m ... and Lille are looking to sign someone else too, for 27m ...

I'm guessing they must be confident they can get the asking price. Wondering if they're content to wait till another window to get it. I think I and most others were concluding that the moment Roofe and Itten came in Fredo was out.

As this whole pandemic has proven, government and NHS plans are entirely different from the execution.

I've been in several Scottish pubs since they reopened (have you, JFK?) and in most no one has to provide contact details and in those that you do, the handwriting and telephone numbers I noted would be indecipherable to hieroglyphics experts.

You think I or anyone else needs to be in a Scottish pub to think of ways how in an age of mass communication they could figure this out? How they now have 101 cases at the last report? How they manage to come up with a figure of 30 pubs? Smoke signals? Maybe they're psychic?

I wouldn't go for that but again, I will give NHS Scotland and the Scottish government more credibility than I would you on this issue.

When contacting individuals who have tested positive, contact tracers will ask people to identify others who they’ve been in close contact with and places they’ve been 48 hours prior to the onset of symptoms up until the time they’ve self-isolated.

    No chance.

You want to google the NHS, because that's not what they say.

Might as well halt the league now and award the title the the horrors and the cups as well .

I don't see the league being halted unless there's a return to full lockdown. Is that likely? What may happen if we don't see more care than these sheep exercised being applied is a clutch of postponed ties or if games go ahead clubs fielding greatly weakened teams.

Some Aberdeen players allegedly went out after Rangers game to aforementioned pub with virus outbreak.

If they are to play St Johnstone this weekend who’s to say other Aberdeen players won’t be affected too after training this week?

I'm presuming everybody they came in contact with has been notified and tested. Cases in Aberdeen have risen to 79 with more expected in the coming days.

I always thought if a team had a certain number of players unavailable then they could have the game postponed

BBC are saying the St Johnstone game is in doubt. So who knows. It's a lesson for the entire league if we're going to have any chance at all of having a full season.

They can't pretend this virus is in retreat and we can all act normally. It isn't and it isn't going to be for a long time to come.

Yes proving he is/was stupid by being with them.

i was thinking along the lines of him possibly being sensible and not joining this pub jaunt they were allegedly on. Then being infected by one later. But I do deem that to be dubious. If there was a pub crawl I would guess he was there.
