  1. Not sure when this started but as of a few days ago when I open my email account in chrome on my laptop I cant open individual emails. When I click on them nothing happens.

I can check on my ipad and phone no problem but not working on the laptop.

When googling I saw answer from a year ago suggesting it may be due to an old browser. How do I know if my version of chrome needs updating?

It also suggested that a cached version of the page may be causing problems. However I cleared the cache and nothing has changed.

    No idea whats going on.

  2. Faure is not the answer either for me.

Not sure on Mohsni. Looked like a Bougherra-light when he first came in but seems to either have lost that assured nature or is being over-confident. Not quite sure which. Worried he is not as good as I initially thought. Jury still out. Probably our best defender but maybe wont stroll the top league that I first thought/hoped.

Need a right back too. Now that I come to think of it we need a minimum of 2 (possibly 3) first choice defenders for our back four once we return to the top flight.

  3. Know nothing about the situation but sacked whilst joint top does seem odd.

Ps. Hartley has obviously done a good job but their recent run was something like 8 defeats on the spin. Also strong rumours in Alloa (was just up there visiting family) that he had a fight with a young or youth team player that largely led to him walking away. May all be BS but wouldnt be what I would be looking for in a manager if a Dundee fan.

  4. Friday 7 February

    Rangers v Dunfermline

    Saturday 8 February

    Albion Rovers v Stenhousemuir

    Alloa Athletic v Dumbarton

    Celtic v Aberdeen

    Forfar Athletic v St Johnstone

    Hibernian v Raith Rovers

    Stranraer v Inverness CT

    Sunday 9 February

    Dundee Utd v St Mirren

    "Likely" to progress:

    Rangers

    Stenhousemuir

    Alloa/Dumbarton

    Celtic

    St Johnstone

    Hibs

    ICT

    Dundee United

Assuming we beat Dunfermline then if course we'd want a home draw and to avoid Celtic. But the rest are winnable.

Yes DU/Sheep/ICT would be tough. But we trounced the 2nd best team in the country last year and could beat these again.

We are unlikely to win it and we would need luck in the draw and in individual games. But I wouldn't go as far to say I wouldn't fancy us against any SPL side.

  5. Agree with all of your post andy_steel.

Would be interested in seeing a comparable list for us too. Think it would show a difference as we count all tickets sold too, but don't think it woul look as ridiculous as Celtic's. Do we really believe 24,000 season ticket holders didn't turn up for the Partick game????

  6. It is when people use terminology like "cunty". So, before casting stones, perhaps take a look at your own contribution.

"batter into" ?? Seriously ? You have got to be kidding me. You know as well as I do that the mocking of BF in this thread is child's play in comparison to what truly amounts to "battering into".

You know what else is sad ?? It is sad that people batter into current players... you know, guys like Peralta, who you have not been shy of showing your disdain for. That is sad.

Me thinks you defend BF far too vehemently. But that is your choice. Just as it is the choice of others to mock him for saying something stupid.

Ohhh, and by the way, why would anyone make mention of him being 5 mins away from a win the previous game ? This thread wasnt initiated due to his team losing 5-1, it was initiated due to him making a comment which looks somewhat foolish.

This is mountain out of molehill stuff.

Stating that Peralta is not a good footballer and that we have played more exciting football with Aird in the same position is not the same at laughing at Ferguson for a shocking result that continues a trend for a team in horrific form, see earlier posts. Frankly a joke you are trying to compare the two. Even you can see that is nonsense when you look back at it.

The point of mentioning his first result is no one wanted to talk about a positive first ever game as manager. No. They waited til the second poor result to mock him. Sadly typical if many in out support. Thee are some former. Gers, Barry, Hutton, Boyd etc. whose contributions were largely positive at the club yet many fans can't wait for an opportunity to knock them and won't take opportunities to promote them doing well. I find that quite sad tbh.

  7. No mention of the fact that they were 5 mins from a win in his first game in charge after 9 defeats in 10 ( 8 of those losses in the league with one draw) and then yeh ok got spanked 5-1 away to play-off contenders Reading. Hardly criminal for a new manager taking over a team with that sort of form.

But still can't miss an opportunity to batter into our former captain.

Sad.. And sad that people want to defend it really.

Should invite Totti and co. back. Site is getting to the sort of standards it did then tbh.
