I think they may have decided to hold back some of any available monies until we qualify for the CL. Moreover, like you say it's not prudent to tell all sellers how much money we intend to spend. I also don't think Murray actually used the 'rock Scottish football' phrase but the woman from RangersTV. As for where any income did go, I'd say mostly to clear the debt which was still about £25million. It is frustrating and like you Cammy I wouldn't trust Murray is he said the sky was blue but we have to be patient.

Must admit Ian, I don't think Fanfan was that pacy either... However, one thing is for sure, he didn't get a proper crack of the whip under Eck and by being shunted out to right back where his lack of real pace was exposed it made him look distinctly average. Perhaps he deserves a chance under PLG at centre half to show what he's really capable of. One thing going in his favour is that he played in front on Letizi at PSG for a while. One thing going against him is his £18K p/week wage packet. I'd imagine if we can get rid of him, he'll go. If not, it might be better paying him off so we can get in someone like Givet and/or Tafforeau to play at the back.

At the end of the day, even if colshy did receive such a poor 'welcome' from another forum, then it doesn't merit making Gersnet look just as bad by abusing potential new members. Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm sure a 2 day break from here will give colshy time to calm down and see that fact. Anyone else who is guilty of continued personal abuse will get the same treatement.

1. Both posters were warned for abuse. 2. Colshy then had another post edited for abusing other forums. 3. Instead of accepting that he changed it back to further abuse - hence the short term ban. Hardly the end of the world. 4. Breaking House Rules won't be tolerated by anyone. Re-editing posts after admin have changed them is not allowed. 5.. If anyone wants to discuss forum discipline I'd rather they contacted Stuart or I privately.

Colshy has been banned for 2 days because, after already being warned for abuse, he re-edited a post of his that I changed where he abused members of another forum.

Nah, he's mainly a defensive midfielder who can play on the left of a midfield 3 if required. Sionko is actually a right winger but again he can play on the left if required. I'd much rather have these 2 guys plus a genuine left midfield player. Frankly, I'd be astounded if PLG doesn't have one or 2 in mind for this neglected position.

He might indeed. Not to sure about that story though. It would be interesting if RFC allowed the official unveiling of PLG to be diluted with news of a signing or vice versa. Better PR for Murray if he announces such things separately.

Can't stand Bellamy but always liked him as a player. Pacey and dangerous and when he does stay clear of injuries can compliment any team. Still an arse though...

Cammy, if you can't get it printed, how about painting on the lettering? PB and the lads at TBO use some paints to do their 2 stick flags and they always look good. Might be a cheaper option as long as we have someone artistic to help. PB would be able to tell us where to get the paint and whether or not it's suitable as a long term alternative to printing.

I rate him no less than you mate but hype can be dangerous. We need to keep calm and stay patient. Regaining the SPL should be achieveable but if success doesn't happen right away I can accept that as long as various improvements are obvious.
