  1. He mentioned the wage bill again on Thursday and confirmed that Rangers FC owns the stadium and ridiculed Bomber. Can't help with any of the others. In terms of number 7 we are going to be mega-rich with no debt and everyone is Scotland will be terrified - allegedly.
  2. I agree, I like what he has done in terms of defending the club with the SFA/ SPL but when he comes out with figures it just doesn't make sense to me. Like £100M a year in media rights, yes if we were playing in the EPL but in SFL I don't think so.
  3. Did you read what he said on Thursday? Itwas much the same thing. Except what I posted here, he didn't say that on Thursday in a question about whether the share issue would be underwritten - it won't. What were your questions?
  4. Well, all the other forums seem obsessed with the fact that we offered him a membership and he said yes. Not one mentioned that he said that he had two fund management companies who both wanted to put in £25M to the IPO but he wanted supporters to get the chance to invest. Make what you will of that.
  5. I'd love to know what the self-serving agenda is.
  6. Yes, he's asked to be on at the start as he has other things on. The man is a complete workaholic and you have to admire that.
  7. Thanks for clearing that up. I had assumed it was the same person.
  8. I think it will be much shorter tonight. He suggested just a Q&A rather than a presentation which is just as well as I don't think anyone in the room could see the detail on the slides anyway. He'll no doubt do a bit at the start then invite questions. I told him last night that, due to the nature of our organisation, that we were interested in shares.
  9. Firstly, I'm not a sir - wrong sex!!! Of course it was clever and fans are lapping it up.
  10. At no time did he say Apple were interested. He used it as an example -i.e. if Apple wanted to give us money to name it i-Brox stadium he would be delighted to take it. He also talked about a European League, linking up with Asia and the Far East and I kept thinking I had heard it all before.
  11. I was at the meeting and, to be honest, that was exactly what was going through my mind. £100m a year for worldwide media rights, £25m from the G51 development. When I asked how that was to be funded he started talking about pension funds. To me it was a sales pitch and some of the things discussed seemed a bit 'pie in the sky' to me.
  12. Yes I have but it's a secret. If I told you I'd have to kill you.
  13. Yes, apologies for the error, I did indeed mean BH. Mark's appointment (if you want to call it that) wasn't for a set period, it is ongoing. The Assembly hasn't met since February so I'm not sure what's going on there. I agree with your statement on the Association reps and hopefully the new member will be able to contribute more. I've been to quite a few Assembly meetings so I'm not sure what the problem was with you going.
  14. There are quite a few things I could say here but sometimes it's better to say little or nothing. Suffice to say that the amount of back-tracking in the last couple of weeks is astonishing. As for the endorsements of the latest statement, at least two of the 'organisations' are one man bands. They would have been as well adding Joe Bloggs.
  15. That isn't true BD. Our original rep was a lady called Jane Gotts. Mark replaced her and this was agreed by the Board - way before your time.
  16. It seems to have been written by Vanguard Bears admin as it went on their site first. I could be wrong though.
  17. Probably not for this statement Yes No
  18. To an extent, yes, although I'm in favour of a boycott once we are playing again in the same league and they keep all the gate money. IMHO they should have waited to see what the draw is. If we get drawn at home and get through we then play the next game at Hampden. What's the point of the statement then?
  19. I don't believe calls for boycotts work. If the club was to refuse to handle tickets then it might although they might have the view that we need every penny we can get. Also, unless this gets publicity in the mainstream media the average punter won't even know about it.
  20. The RST will not be folding. Neither will we be contacting the Executive Admin Assistant to beg to be in their gang. As Bluedell pointed out, our Board is elected by our members. I wonder how many people at the meeting could say the same.
  21. Me too, it's awful to watch. Oops, I've just noticed the time, I'd better head off or I'll miss kick off.
  22. I wouldn't say that the RST will be at the head of it, if it is it is likely to be a completely different RST to what we have now. Any money collected will go into an Escrow account held by Supporters Direct solicitors. I'd urge you to wait until this launches and then make up your mind, once all the details are finalised. If you don't like what you see then don't participate. However we've been there before with small shareholders having their own shares but having absolutely no influence. I remember the AGM 2-3 years ago when just about everyone there voted against Donald Muir's appointment to the Board but it was still carried.
  23. A public slanging match is in no-one's interests Craig. I don't think we'll be saying anything except perhaps let our members know what we are working on.
