  1. There was also a mistake on the original Paypal link so if anyone has donated to assembly@bluenose.co.uk it should be assembly@thebluenose.co.uk. I think you need to go and reclaim your money if you have used the first one.
  2. Everyone is entitled to do what they want. Luckily there was a meeting in Friday where people like Andy Smillie ensured that there were at least some safeguards in place and that the money didn't go to the administrators as first planned. I prefer keeping my money for a share issue where I would be represented at Board level in the future running of the Club. The administrators have not said they require more money and I believe this fund will now only be used if something unexpected crops up and there is a cash flow issue. I'm not sure what will happen if there are millions left in the fund and the club then gets sold. Obviously, if things became worse and the administrators said we need cash to survive then I would donate but until then I don't want my money just sitting in a fund that might never be needed or used. That is just my personal opinion. No doubt I will be accused of not caring for the club but nothing could be further from the truth.
  3. Saverangers is a joint initiative from all three fans organisations but don't let that get in the way of you having a go at the Trust.
  4. I wasn't at the meeting but that is not my understanding of what was said as that would not be Mark's call to make.
  5. I believe there was some agreement that it couldn't be handed over until after CW became majority shareholder. My understanding is that invoices were raised by Rangers but I could be wrong - it wouldn't be the first time!!!
  6. That's up to you but there is no need to rubbish other initiatives that are also to benefit the club's future.
  7. He didn't B. The money was not transferred until 9th May.
  8. I don't think that will be established unless it goes to court. £18m of our bank debt was paid off with this money. They have a contract with Rangers and they have invoices for the money from Rangers. I don't think it's as cut and dried as some would like to believe.
  9. My worry is that we won't get the chance and we may just be presented with the new owners as decided by the administrators.
  10. Maybe questions should be asked of the other bidders. Who are you and what do you have to do with Rangers would be a start.
  11. Much clearer, thanks. I haven't read where he said it's TBK or liquidisation. That may be his personal opinion or he may be privvy to other information. I don't agree with him on this as I don't know the content of any other bid. However, some have said that a liquidated company may be more attractive to a bidder and for someone with no ties to the club they may not care about our history. TBK bid is attractive to the RST as; a) It involves a variety of real Rangers supporters with no one person in overall control b) It allows the fans to be involved via a share issue and membership scheme and allows for representation on the Board (elected representatives, not appointed) c) It avoids liquidation which many of us were dreading. If any of the other bids involved this then we would support them too but ultimately we only want the best for the club without making the same mistakes others have made in the past.
  12. No need to be sarcastic. You were the one who said that he should be encouraging fans to listen to all offers before we set our stall. What did you mean by that?
  13. You don't seriously believe that the fans will get the opportunity to assess all offers, do you?
  14. Really, yet you call him a liar and a 'cancer' (a term I find particulary offensive). I could call you a liar for some of the wrong information you have posted but at the end of the day it's just your opinion and Mark is also entitled to his opinion. There are people on this board who will confirm that when the RST had a previous opportunity to nominate someone to sit on the Board, Mark did not put himself forward. Neither, I believe, will he do so this time if the opportunity arises.
  15. Even worse, I missed the entire thread on the subject. Doh!!!!
  16. How can you be on here and on telly at the same time?
  17. No they didn't. It was agreed with all three fans groups and the site has quotes from all three.
  18. Thank you for your comments, very constructive - not. Still, if I agreed with you then we'd both be wrong.
  19. I like it but get the words of the song right.
  20. Thanks for that Zappa. We have a Board meeting tomorrow night and this may be up for discussion. The main problem that I can foresee is that it may be against our rules and would therefore need to be agreed at an EGM (not sure about that). As for your comments about Mark, I've always said that he is big enough and ugly enough to stick up for himself. All this started with some of his pals from Follow, Follow thinking they could post what they wanted and not being able to accept being banned. Even tonight on another website snide remarks were being made rather than focussing on the problems facing the Club. Mark has been on variuos media outlets over the last few days and, in my opinion, has represented the fans very well.
  21. Firstly, there was absolutely no intent to dupe people into joining the Trust by making them think that they were donating to the Club. If anyone feels they have been misled then I'm sure we would refund their money if requested. The free membership is something we have thought about, I think the Manchester United Trust has free e-membership. However our Trust is one of the cheapest to join in Scotland (Hibs is £50 per year). Until recently, we also gave out a share in the Club which cost us £5+. We have to think about all the hundreds of people who have paid £100 to become life members and the ones who have paid in £10 per year from Year 1. It's certainly worth thinking about.
  22. Frankie, you more than anyone must see the irony in this. Also, where was this unity when they walked away from the Fans Working Group.
