  1. This isn't about being loyal to anyone except the club. Neither Green nor Whyte are the club. However we deserve answers. CG said he would never lie to us but he has, big time about the involvement of Whyte. There may even be more to come. These guys are going to make a fortune from our club and we need to know the truth. It's been confirmed that Whyte paid £137,500 - strange amount? That is 25% of £550,00 which is 10% of the purchase price of the Club - post CVA. It appears that Whyte thought he was putting down a deposit for 25% of the newco - or is that just twisted logic?
  2. Done - hope I am sensible enough.
  3. Well D, I might get snippets from Ibrox but I have no such contacts in that organisation. I'll lay odds on it being a bloke though.
  4. I think that we will be found guilty of minor administrative errors and will be fined. Titles will not be touched IMHO.
  5. Indeed, I knew yesterday that he was staying but some people with 'impeccable sources' had him replaced. Oh well!
  6. Now we're being accused of leaking the MM story to the press. You couldn't make it up, although some people clearly do.
  7. Just like people are doing with the Union Bears.
  8. I see the usual suspects on RM are hinting that the RST was responsible. These are the same people that peddle the lie that we were also responsible for the Bill Miller banners. Maybe I should put them in touch with the guy who paid for and organised that one, maybe they wouldn't be so brave then.
  9. Actually, that is incorrect. It was described as a fans museum and Jim Hannah appears to be leading on it. Talking about locating it in the Copland where the Assembly office used to be.

As far as I know the projected loss is £3.5m.
  12. Is anyone old enough to remember when we had an 18 team league? There were so many meaningless mid-table games and two teams still dominated. As much as I don't like the SPL we had a situation in recent years when nothing was decided until the last weekend and it was exciting. Even in the EPL there are a handful of interesting games but also a lot of dross. Who really cares about Wigan V QPR?
  13. If it was the EPL or Championship even then I'd think about it but the Conference is 5th tier. Not for me, I want us back playing in Europe as soon as possible. We are Rangers, not some obscure English team.
  14. I totally agree and I thiink the message has been totally lost here. Perhaps you have to be a certain age or in a certain frame of mind. These times seemed better to us and we have these memories because our parents and grandparents are no longer around and we think of the times they were, especially at this time of year. My family didn't have much when I was growing up but we were very happy and there was a real sense of community which I think is lacking now. Sure we're mostly all better off materially but I would swap all my worldly goods to have one more day with my mum and dad.
  15. I guess that makes me a fool. Why would you say that?
  16. I wasn't at said meeting rbr but as for taking the site down that wasn't his call to make.
  17. A very small percentage but it's a start. As you are probably aware we started the Save Rangers website to try to guage what could be raised by fans. However, others, led by people at the Club, wanted to go down the RFFF route. We were asked to stop all activity or we would be going against the wishes of all the other fans. Reluctantly we agreed.
  18. Frankie, I have to agree with your first paragraph and wish people would stop fighting battles from nearly five years ago. SS was wrong in what he said and as far as I'm aware there is only one resignee who still seems to be particularly bitter. Regarding Leggo's article, I think the £2m bit was plucked out the air and took away from the point of the article. The fact is that there was a campaign to discredit the Community Share Scheme. It resulted in Facebook pages and Twitter being bombarded with comments about it being a scam and e-mails being sent to NARSA and ORSA warning them not to invest via the RST. If this did lead to the Club losing out on cash then it is very sad.
  19. Just when I was beginning to like you. I think it will sway some. I think AJ did a reasonable job under difficult circumstances and he called Craig Whyte correctly.
  20. It's the usual suspects GS, saying the same old things. Trying to influence people not to invest in our scheme thus depriving the Club of money. They may think it's okay to slag off fellow Rangers fans but it's not for me.
  21. No but if you buy one share after the IPO you can still attend.
