  1. Very bad luck to find ourselves going into games without Jack and Tavernier. Two hugely important players.
  2. Agree with that. I’m all for praise of Katic as long as it’s not accompanied with comments about Helander who has been an excellent signing.
  3. Manager is on our side on this one. Helander very often doesn’t get his due because of the cult hero status of Katic.
  4. Reports from the DR that Barker & Jones are headed for the exit in order to allow Gerrard to bring 1 in. They claim Barker is on 10k a week, criminal if true but I very much doubt that. If we could bring in one quality attacking midfielder I would be in favour. Kent aside we went for quantity over quality in that position in the summer, not that it has done us much harm.
  5. This is a football forum, people are supposed to believe they are right and anyone who disagrees (including the manager) is an idiot. Unless I’ve been doing it wrong.

    Ryan Kent

Sorry to pick at this but they actually weren’t, Leeds walked away because Liverpool wouldn’t lower the price. I said at the time that I would be very surprised if a Championship club paid that kind of money for him. Presumably Club Brugge were though because Kent said he was just about to sign for them.

    Ryan Kent

I was quite vocal last season as not being Kent's biggest fan and I do think we overpaid in order to get a player who could hit the ground running, but he has done well this season and I think we should just forget about the fee.
  8. That's exactly right. IMO our strongest 11 is McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Helander, Barisic, Jack, Kamara, Davis, Kent, Aribo, Morelos. We've been missing big players every time we've dropped points this season. 1. Barisic, Kent and Helander didn't play vs Celtic at Ibrox. 2. Barisic was a big miss in the draw at Pittodrie and Kamara didn't play in that one either. 3. Jack, Kent and Helander didn't play at Tynecastle in September 4. Of course yesterday was the worst by a distance with Morelos, Tavernier, Jack (45 mins) and Helander missing. I don't think we need to panic because Morelos is back and Tavernier won't be long. Helander will return in another few weeks and when fully fit will, IMO, be preferred to Katic again. However, lack of quality on the bench is still concerning. I've said for a while now that my biggest worry this season is injuries and suspensions because I think our strongest 11 could definitely do it. If we get 1 player in I think it should be in the inside forward position because an injury to Kent or Aribo could be very damaging.
  9. It isn’t aimed at people like you.
  10. Is there any option to sell your seat for the last 15 minutes? About 10 thousand people might be interested in that.
  11. I think it's going to be a quiet closing week if you don't count the obligatory nonsense links from the media.
  12. It was mainly the “stay in touch” and “stay 2 points behind”
  13. Hard to come up with a more negative title than the BBCs; Rusty Rangers edge past St Mirren to stay in touch. And then the forst paragraph is the same, “Rusty Rangers stay two points behind Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership after struggling to victory over resolute visitors St Mirren.” Stay 2 points behind? What else were we going to do? We won our game.
  14. I think Gerrard will relieved that he has one game less to play with no Morelos and Tavernier. We are without our top scorer and second top assisted for these games and it won’t be easy.
  15. Good performance from Ojo. He takes a lot of criticism so credit where credit is due.
  16. We knew that the right back would play as a winger in this game but still went with Flanagan who poses no threat whatsoever as a winger.
  17. I think we are missing Tavernier and Morelos’s badly here. To be honest I think we are even missing Patterson.
  18. This is incredible. 10 guys parked on the edge of the 18 yard box, strikers falling over every time a ball is humped up to them and every single one of them taking as long as humanly possible to take every single throw-in, free kick and goal kick they are awarded.
  19. Yes unlimited subscription and you need to use a VPN
  20. Disappointed Patterson isn’t playing, but let’s see how Flanagan does
  21. Only one reason Hibs would make an offer they know would be rejected for a promising young Rangers player, to try to unsettle him by offering him first team football.
  22. Rangers goalkeeper Robby McCrorie is set to go straight into the Livingston side for their home encounter with St Johnstone tonight after the Ibrox club brought an early end to his loan deal with Queen of the South to allow him to make a temporary move to West Lothian.Hibernian are understood to have sought to acquire the
Scotland under-21 international, right, on a permanent basis following earlier interest from city rivals Hearts, but Rangers would not entertain any bids for McCrorie, who is expected to be given first pick status during his loan stint with Livingston. That proved a major attraction for Rangers with the player considered to have the potential to be a future challenger for the Ibrox No 1 role currently occupied by Allan McGregor.
  23. I don’t think anyone on here is getting carried away.
  24. Immediately after the game people have made their own judgments on what they've seen. 3 weeks of propaganda and a frenzy whipped up by those who are paid to do so tends to make people far less balanced in their views though.
  25. You must have skim-read, I said all stats were not including Old Firm games. The difference in games played home and away was between the rest of the league so to gain a more accurate prediction of how those games would go I didn't include Old Firm games which would skew the stats.
