Exactly my thoughts. If Gerrard can fix the players mentality then there is no way we are going to get walked over next season. If teams like Kilmarnock, Motherwell, Hibs and Hearts can get good results against the scum, then so can we. The problem with our team over the past few seasons is that they have this severe inferiority complex when it comes to playing Celtic. Hopefully, Gerrard flushes that out because in my opinion, it's one of the big reasons as to why we bottled it back in March. It also makes you wonder what Murty was like with them in training and such. Murty never really struck me as the type of character to go all out on his players when they weren't doing their job. A welcome change from Gerrard indeed. I

Was hoping that our first league game of the season would be a home tie. Thought it would be good to see Gerrard's first domestic tie at home. First game last season was away so I was hoping that would mean we'd be at home for the first game this year.

Would hate to see wee Morelos leave. I'd say he's the best player alongside Candeias from the Caixinha crop. 18 or 19 goals scored for us last season and providing he improves on his finishing that could be even more next season. He was on fire at the beginning of last season but I personally think his form dipped because he got carried away with all the talk of clubs willing to pay £10m for him. Got to his head basically. The guy has obviously missed quite a few sitters but I think he could thrive under Gerrard providing he stops acting like a petulant little child at times.
