  1. So they had agreed to pay the fee and the stuff about negotations still going on was lies?

Was the fee deductible off the final payment? Was it to be used to pay off creditors or deductible by D&P off their final agreed fees?

That's what I don't get - my take is that they would've put up the cash but I feel D&P were just occupying PM to give Ng time to sort out a deal with Ticketus. So, the thing became academic...

  2. Ah so because she did it too, she deserved any violence? Bollocks.

No she didn't and no it's not - lie down with an unpredictable dog and don't be surprised if it turns round and bites you! I dare say she chucked a few bottles at him too. The argument you're putting is mostly right but if you stay with someone that treats you bad ISN'T YOU STAYING A MITIGATING FACTOR?

    I'd say yes.

She wore the trousers in that relationship, she kicked him out and took him back - that says a lot too DON'T YOU THINK SO?

  3. Total utter cunt. Full of lies, hate and bile. Hope he died in absolute agony

Sounds like you're slapping yourself in the face there mate!

Listen, 'celebrity culture' being what it is most 'stars' have their heads firmly up their asses - the thing that was good about John was that he got that across the media - don't think we're (celebrities) all special we're all the same... That was the good thing about Lennon he was always learning from mistakes he made, and had he been alive today I'm sure he would've contributed much more to British Politics than those in the Parliaments (London and Old Reekie). He was an honest person who's heart was in the right place, and that's the best we can all hope for when it comes to judging our net worth on this planet!!

Back to the topic: We Are The People - and as John Lennon said POWER TO THE PEOPLE...

  4. I never said anything about pissing where he died...

Sorry IDGAF about excuses for drugs etc. Actions speak louder than words and all that.

Not an excuse Ono was fine with taking drugs too so my take on that is the company you keep is a factor! More sympathy for Cynthia as she wasn't interested but then again she wasn't for changing so Ono joined him on that stupid 'journey'!

Social being determines social consciousness and all that...

  5. A touch more on topic ... who is to say that Ng (or any other new "owner") won't be open to the idea of a membership scheme, if only to initially raise money? If the right people approach him with a right concept, I think reason will prevail with people like him. Rather than some pompous good old British-style would-be-king chairman.

For me it's all down to CONTROL and that's what was good about PM - I feel he knew that anything less than a BIG FAN INVOLVEMENT would bring us back to this point again... and it will!

  6. FINALLY someone agrees with me on it. It's like your the mad cat-bin lady if you say anything about Saint John ffs.

    You're entitled to your P.O.V. I don't share it!

He did have a spell when he (alongside Harry N etc) were out of their skulls on drugs and during those spells he kept getting visits from the NY terrorist lovers and fell for their crap, but if you're not brought up with a Rangers or Proddie background it would be easier to fall prey to that mob!

As for pissing where he fell dead - well if you've that kinda mentality I'd say poor show from you!

What made John a good person is that he wasn't a saint and I'm sure when he was sitting there penning Watching The Wheels he understood the mistakes he made and would've been disappointed he fell for that romanticised IRA crap! Hey, that's life if you jump in head first you end making a fool of yourself, and he certainly wasn't afraid of that!

I do despise Lennon, but not that one!

  7. I must admit' date=' an option like the BK's would have been my preferred option but by all accounts Ng is keen to get a British/Scottish based board together to run the ship if he gets control. Who's to say that some of the BK's won't be approached?[/quote']

The Blue Knights strength was that they were gonna give a voice to the voiceless masses of Rangers fans - I'm sure they will get the help from Paul Murray if they want it, my point is this: there's a lot of old dreamers (mid 50's on) that can see the BIG PICTURE yet here we go again switching on to Sunny and Cher when we should be chucking the tranny out the window!

Personally, I feel supporting Rangers is hard, in a way that's why we do it, but when you get to a certain age you want it to get easier! I will never support a 'newco' not in a million yrs, but that's direction it's heading. For me it's like Bill Murray stepping into that puddle, except that sooner or later it won't just be a puddle it'll be an articulated lorry!

Even if we avoid liquidation they'll be a drop in support as (at some level) the older fans will be struck with apathy that will be hard to shake off! It's always wise (when fighting the good fight) to look for positives but some of us have been round the block a few times - that's where the apathy will come in...

Hard reading RM etc with people pushing personal agendas against Mark Dingwall etc - really we should be beyond insulting a man for his weight and personal likes/dislikes. Despite Mark being a Tory I understand the important thing is Rangers, it's the feelings we share that should be important, he would've done a great job representing the fans if he was chosen!!

As a wee boy I cried my heart out when we lost the final of the ECWC in 1967 - hearing the news that TBK's are out of it brings those old feelings to the fore, yes supporting Rangers is hard!

    Too hard?

I'm just about all done in - but no doubt if we survive, the No Surrender spirit will return again...

  8. With the news that TBK's have withdrawn from the 'bidding' it has struck me very hard. Hard looking in on RM and elsewhere as 'Rangers Fans' react with glee that they are out of it. Hard to understand the fear these people have about assuming some control over Rangers. Hard to understand their support for Ng given there's every indication that it's just another David Murrray journey of hope inside uncertainty for our team! Hard to understand why they are so happy to have things outside their control.

The media at large ridicule the chances of the Working Class assuming control over the means of production so I shouldn't be surprised that Rangers fans don't have faith in themselves to be the architects of their own destiny. I pledged my total savings to the cause of taking control and would have parted with that cash with great pride in the knowledge that we as a support had finally grown up!

Seems it was too big a step for some to take.

    Hard!

Being a Commie tends to harden the spirit but like the great John Lennon I do have a soft centre and imagined and dreamed that we, like Hamburg etc were READY to make that leap of faith in ourselves!

We obviously still don't know if we're gonna survive but with Ng waiting in the wings the old song lyrics comes to mind THE NEEDLE RETURNS TO THE START OF THE SONG AND WE ALL SING ALONG LIKE BEFORE.. When David Murrray took over I stood in Rangers pubs arguing against the majority saying we should not put 'faith' in one man when WE are the ones who stomp up the cash and WE pay for everything so we should grow a set... An old phrase from going to the cinema also springs to mind THIS IS WHERE I CAME IN!

Have to be honest and say I'm heartbroken that the dream is over - at this moment in time I don't want to see the film again as it would be like watching that great Bill Murray film..

  9. I just feel we havnt been vocal enough. Yes we have bought tickets, scarfs etc. Admin have and are getting an easy ride.

That's putting it mildly mate even posters on here have been quick to try shout down those of us who have harboured mistrust - the pro tories that actually believe in this crappy capitalist system! In other words Duff & Phelps must've been surprised at how compliant we were - that's probably why they thought they come the cunt with this routine about court proceedings to get those shares (bought with our money) thankfully we've now started to be open and well done to the RST for voicing our concerns!

If they liquidate us they'll pay for it sooner or later - .much better if we bring in the politicians as they can bring the necessary pressure to insure all is above board and make sure their endgame doesn't work. We need the political big hitters to shine a light on these thieves!

  10. While this shower of cowboys from Duff & Phelps are taking us to the cleaners!

Seems to me all they've done is waste time while at the same time Liquidation was always their (Whyte, Grier and Co) endgame!

In my opinion they should all be on cells - shower of swindlers the lot of them, I'll bet if the Government went to see their offices and paperwork all they'd find is unfinished crosswords and empty bottles of water!

  11. If the government get involved then that will surely show the SFA for what they are worth, which can't/won't be a bad thing

The second thing they'd be asking is "while one of your clubs have been taken to the cleaners what have you in the SFA been doing?"

We really need to involve the Politicians if we're gonna stop these thieves disappearing with the swag!

  12. Got to agree, Whyte should have been the priority.

Don't see how they can decide on new owners without Whyte being dealt with.

IF they don't have that covered there's only one rationale behind it - nice to see the RST saying so too, they are just dragging their heels and as David Grier is close to Whyte it stands to reason it's all been planned that way so as to lengthen the process and line their pockets.

They're a shower of crooks in my opinion and we need to start involving the Government if we're gonna survive! Liquidation is not an option - most of us won't support Rangers Rovers 2012, I certainly won't! How does it benefit the Treasury or Rangers if less than 10,000 turn up at Ibrox to watch a new team? That's even if they have the use of the ground!

Time for the Government to get prodded into action - I mean it's not like the SFA are gonna be helping us!

  13. I've been on here for many years and have to say the admins have never abused their position as far as I have seen, and they attempt to be as fair as they can.

Craig is about the most fair minded poster on here and if you reach a disagreement with him he is about as amicable as it gets. The fact he's getting the abuse is astonishing and IMHO reflective of the validity of the complaint.

I often find the ones complaining about heavy handed admins generally deserve a lot more censuring than they actually get. Maybe some see a banning as a badge of honour and so just keep pushing it and asking for it until it happens. Thing is, bans are pretty rare on here.

When he's a mod then it could be seen as a badge of merit!

Amazing those that say they want the thread back on track yet fail to put it back by posting on the topic! I suspect most saying that haven't a scooby doo what it's about. Easy to stop me, just don't keep addressing me! Now, what's so fekking complicated about that...

  14. I have a feeling Paul will reach an agreement with Ticketus, for me the Administrators have been very poor , If they haven't got Whyte to pass on 'his' (what a fekking joke) 'his' shares then for me they deserve to be taken out and shot at dawn, surely to God they've already got that area covered! If not JUST WHAT THE FEKK HAVE THJEY BEEN DOING WITH THEIR TIME?

Time to get the Government involved!

  15. Any chance you switch this argument onto the non-Football / non-Rangers boards of Gersnet?

What would be the point when he can delete posts and threads?

No chance would I give him the chance of deleting stuff I'd taken 5-10 mins to put up. Not a chance in hell! More chance of Keevins stopping going on about liquidation. Obviously like Craig not a fan of the BK's!

  16. Murdo just said about Killie V Celtic "it makes sense for Killie to flog unsold tickets to ra Septic fans"... Odd how when it's Bears there's always a question of public safety...

Murdo is another that gripes about Refs being inconsistent! :-)

  17. Fuck me they are now going on and on about how Ally was allowed to speak to the ref and TLG wasn't,for the last 15-20 minutes now. We feel you pain:clap:

Christ, these tramps would find a way to have a gripe about anything! :-) I listened and most commentators said it was the manner you go about asking the referee this and that - It seems like some posters/Admin the piss poor attitude and manner of refs is the annoying bug bare... :-)

I hear 19 mins into the game tomorrow all the Celtic players are gonna run and dive... :-)

  18. I probably shouldn't get involved,as I don't want to see anyone banned. But I find Craig a fair man and certainly doesn't have an ego or is power hungry.

    That's just my opinion.

    ...and I take it you're not a Marxist / socialist / Communist...

If you're unlikely to disagree with him I'd say your POV isn't really valid in this wee argument is it!

  19. just dont take anything for granted , lol

    :-)

He was just hiding behind a generalism and he knew it was sweeping up all those that supported TBK's and tbh I've made them before but have always put my hand up!

Power corrupts and I'd hate to find out that that Admin will ever hold any real power! If I get banned so! My POV is that I've made a point, flagged it up.
